I assume many on the correct side of the pond are hosting or attending a SB party. But if you are not go ahead and pretend. You have to bring one dish and you want to put some effort in to it. What is it and please post the recipe so I can steal it.....

Normally I slow smoke a pork shoulder for pulled pork, but as my Sunday seems to be full or errands this year I am going with wings;

About 6 pounds of wings. (I go to a butcher and by large flats only)
1/4 cup paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons fresh ground black pepper
1 tablespoon cayenne
2 sticks of butter
2 cups of Louisiana style hot sauce ( I like Franks Redhot)
1 cup of honey
8 cloves of garlic

I make the sauce and marinate the chicken overnight, using just enough sauce to coat all wings. To make the sauce sauté the minced garlic in butter. Add hot sauce and honey on low heat just to get warm and combine flavors. Mix all your spices together then add to the sauce. Coat the wings and let sit over night, saving about half the sauce. I then deep fry my wings at 375% for 8-10 minutes. Once they are all done put them in a large bowl and toss with the remainder of the sauce. These are not mild, but they are not as hot as I prefer just to cater to everyone else. Double the cayenne if you want them hotter. You will have to warm the sauce again when you coat the cooked wings. They can also be cooked in the oven, but I prefer the deep fryer

I saw that cupcake on pinterest. It does not look appetizing.

Artichoke dip. Wings. French fries. Peanut brittle.

More to be determined.

You should patent that.

It's become somewhat of a tradition for my husband and I to try and stay up for the Superbowl. He usually makes it to the end, I only get to the half time show usually. SO this year I plan to do nachos because we've both been very good doing the healthy eating thing and haven't had any crisps for aaaagges. So nachos will be made (with a yummy homemade salsa) and consumed.

Well, it will be if I manage to stay awake anyways.
