The new Cool Links thread
We keep on starting these, and I can't find a single one of them!
Here's my inspiration to start a new one;
The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore
a love story for book lovers.

That was really entertaining. Very poignant, especially the surgery scene.
Read a book, color your world.

I was lucky to visit on the last weekend the ISS Processing facility was open to the public. I'm glad I went when I did.

Oh, my pleasure!
If anyone likes the tale-telling type of game, and also likes female characters, I've been recommended this one;
Cinders
My friend says;
Quote:
I just finished the visual novel Cinders for the third time and it was great. It's a clever interactive retelling of the Cinderella story, all the characters are complex and you can choose to befriend or alienate any of them, from the Prince to the stepmother, and either go for the fairy-godmother-and-Prince ending or something totally different. (My most recent playthrough I was horrible to everyone and became an evil queen. IT WAS GLORIOUS)
It's well put together too, the art is gorgeous (if sometimes a bit stiff and uncanny valley) and the music very effective. It revels in it's fairytale-ness, with sparkles everywhere (the text has rainbow sparkles), but the romances are understated and quite sweet, and it has a surprisingly complex approach to morality.
There's a demo but I decided to just buy it since I like supporting indie games and it was only $25. I'm glad I did.

Sorry about that.
I loved the garden video; sincere thanks for putting it on.
Some years ago I took the then family to a nature place in Yorkshire. The butterfly garden was hot and steamy and full of the most amazing coloured things I've ever seen. But I was a trifle fatigued and sat down on a convenient Bench to gather my wits and look about. There was a sort of "Whirring hum" and I looked up to see a Humming bird less than 6 feet from my head taking a drink from a glass tube thing.
I was so amazed I forgot to get my camera out!

These are just black and white photos, but they are interesting and intriguing.

Something humorous. How many times have you heard it is cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey?
Be sure to read the directions so as not to damage his accouterments !

The lost art of voting, also good for practicing Democracy:
Am I naked?
Lit used to plug it back in the day, sometimes the pictures are epic, sometimes they are just gross, but it's ok, cause you can vote to trash pictures.
