I've heard wingnuts like veteman and aj fling this around like a monkey flings poo.

Please provide proof of it in this thread.

Edit: almost 30 pages, and not a single shred of proof has been posted.

And yet, the following mouth breathers all still think that Obama is a Marxist.
ashland69, BigRedBeard, cconnelly1, CNYCarol, Dimmu_Borgir, FloridaSmoothie, Hornysailor61, LibraStud, Notsogentleman, RecHiker, Roc_crawl, SilkieNJay, Snip2

Not to mention, the cowardly pitter patter of veteman and AJs feet as they run from the thread.

Incredible.

Amazing.

Every response to this thread above mine is on my ignore list.

The odds?

Even VBM?

And surprise surprise... not a single answer to the question.

The lie told the most often is the lie the idiots will believe.

*yawn*

Marx did two things.

1. Helped write the Marxist* theory of economics. It's a description of how different economic stuff is connected and affect each other. Levers and pulleys. Do A and B happens.

2. Helped found the Marxist* ideology. A description of what he thought would be an ideal society, and how to achieve it. Hint; it is revolutionary in nature.

Those two things have some thematic and rhetoric overlap, but are mostly separate things. Anyone who agrees with a somewhat Keynesian school of economics, and anyone with a somewhat socialist, social democrat or even European Centric political point of view more-or-less subscribes to Marxist theory of economics. As do many conservatives, although they disagree with how to handle the levers and pulleys. However, almost all of them are firmly against Marxist ideology. Social Democracy is by definition the repudiation of Marx' revolutionary ideas.

But it makes it convenient for the right to associo-guilt-tag "Marxist" onto anyone they disagree with. Because the dude's economic model was a pretty valid description of how shit works.

*he didn't call it that
**he didn't call it that either

Now go get laid or something, folks.

I need to subscribe to this thread... just in case someone ever does solve the riddle of how the president is "a Marxist".

The mere fact that you have to ask is grim testimony to your lack of understanding of Marxist principles in the first place, so perhaps you should study a bit instead of wasting our time trying to make you understand political concepts you aren't familiar with.

No answer, then?

^^^^

LOL at the cowardly lie'n.

It's going to be one of life's great mysteries, like big foot... Wingnuts will all believe it exists, but none will have any proof.

Why on earth are you wasting your time here, then?

you are such a bottom feeder and one that eats poo

clearly we need to start off with:

"obama is the worst president in American history"

or

"obama would bankrupt a 711 store in 10 days"
