I have gotten a bunch of fantastic responses! I've had some great conversations as well. Keep responding though. I can't really do much in the way of voice chat or Skype, but I love text conversations. Something about just words can do wonders, as I'm sure many of you know. If you are around tonight, feel free to drop a line!!!

Do you have any hobbies besides playing sports?
Do you have any fetishes?
What were your favorite courses in undergrad?
Could you pick a favorite sport if you have to?
Is your favorite sport to play also your favorite sport to watch?
Favorite book?
Favorite car?
Favorite TV show?
Are you a wine/beer/whisky connoisseur?
Do you like giving oral sex?
What types of women are you attracted to specifically? (eg, math/physics/technology majors versus psychology/english/philosophy majors?)
Do you have any favorite physical features on a woman?
Are you shy?

Maybe this will get the ball rolling.

Solid start =P Let's see.

Do you have any hobbies besides playing sports? I actually don't play as much as I watch/cover. I can't say I have much else in the way of hobbies.
Do you have any fetishes? I have a minor panty fetish. Not wearing them, but feeling them, things like that. They turn me on a lot.
What were your favorite courses in undergrad? I took a sports journalism class I loved and an artistic expression class where I learned how to juggle. Which was awesome.
Could you pick a favorite sport if you have to? Football, by far.
Is your favorite sport to play also your favorite sport to watch? I prefer to play baseball actually.
Favorite book? Helter Skelter will was a true story about the Manson murders and the investigation. Before you think I am nuts, I just like reading about crimes. I read one about Columbine as well, which I enjoyed. Don't worry, I have no intention of going crazy.
Favorite car? I'm not sure I have one.
Favorite TV show? House, and The Office.
Are you a wine/beer/whisky connoisseur? Definitely not a connoisseur. I drink, but not all the time.
Do you like giving oral sex? Absolutely.
What types of women are you attracted to specifically? (eg, math/physics/technology majors versus psychology/english/philosophy majors?) Anyone who isn't going to make me feel like a moron. Not that they can't be smarter than me, just don't talk down to me.
Do you have any favorite physical features on a woman? Superficially, their butt (I'm not going to lie). Second would be the eyes. Especially blue ones.
Are you shy? I can be. If I am with people I know, I am not shy. Around new people, I definitely am.

Your turn

Maybe this will get the ball rolling.

Nice. Fair enough.

Do you have any hobbies besides playing sports? Haha, yes. I test open source software in my spare time. I also play video games on every platform. If I had to pick favorites, it would be: Xbox: Forza 4, PS3: Tekken Tag Hybrid, Wii: Mario Kart Wii, PC: Anything by Valve. Probably Half-life 2.
Do you have any fetishes? Getting caught masturbating, having one-night stands, flirting with the boss. (Only the first has actually come to fruition, but that's probably by design.)
What were your favorite courses in undergrad? Circuit board design, and Women in Antiquity.
Could you pick a favorite sport if you have to? Ice Hockey.
Is your favorite sport to play also your favorite sport to watch? No; I do yoga and ride (road) bikes these days. I used to do gymnastics and cheer.
Favorite book?Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson.
Favorite car? Aston Martin DB9.
Favorite TV show? Top Gear.
Are you a wine/beer/whisky connoisseur? I pretend to know a thing or two about whisky but I enjoy all of the above.
Do you like giving oral sex? Fuck. Yes.
What types of women are you attracted to specifically? (eg, math/physics/technology majors versus psychology/english/philosophy majors?) Well I had a fling with a fellow computer science major, but that's probably because we were the only two girls in most of our classes. As far as men go, I prefer the philosophical type but would never turn down a geek, either.
Do you have any favorite physical features on a woman? Breasts of all shapes and sizes. I'm also partial to blue eyes.
Are you shy? No.

Okay that was actually fun.

Fantastic information. I've never gotten caught masturbating, but outside of my family, I always thought it would be hot to get caught. Is it sad that that is what I got out of reading that entire thing?

And I write as a male
I completely agree with this being insulting and very patronizing. Its like were suppose to go and prove our intelligence to you and hope to be deemed worthy. Seriously??! As you mentioned the ratio of women to men is very discouraging to most men on here, so if you are looking to meet some awesome ladies for chat one of the worst things you can do is start out by insulting them.

Good luck in your search. By your topic i doubt many of the fairly intelligent ones will be sending you pm's.

I'll bite; I took it as a challenge. (OK, and as bait to troll him along.) Granted, he turns out to be a nice kid. 'Kid' probably being the key word that explains the thread title. I did like the sentiment of your post, however. Nicely put.

The irony in some of the other responses, however, is that the posters have taken offense to someone who has all but implied that most women on here are not intelligent; yet their posts contain grade-school level spelling and grammar mistakes. Should we not be proving him wrong, ladies, if we want the general perception of women from men to change? (For those of you seeing red, this is an honest question.)

Granted the point is moot as he's already admitted that the title does not reflect his actual feelings. Yet another reason that continued berating of him is pointless, and if I may, rather unintelligent.

2400. Women in Classical Antiquity (3) (FC:HU) Status and daily life of women in ancient Greece and Rome, attitudes expressed toward them, and their roles in art, archaeology, and literature of ancient world through contemporary approach.

Copied from my old student catalog. I needed an Arts & Humanities elective. Turns out I quite enjoyed the class!

And I LOVED switching theory, designing circuits with gates, and CPU design.

And that makes you hot in my book, given that I work on cell phone / sat phone designs myself - however we don't work so much on designing circuits as much as looking at which advanced processors work best in our equipment. The days of the 555 are long since numbered.

I'd have considered you hot even if you didn't have that luscious pic in your profile.

I appreciate you being the seemingly ONLY person that seemed to read through the entire thread to know that the title wasn't mean to be degrading and that I have already said I would change it if I could. This thread went in the wrong direction for sure.

"Smart" Girls

Oh, golly, you know how it is. I found out way early that guys don't LIKE smart girls. They want you to be smart enough to know which end goes in their mouth. After that, all you're going to hear is "mmmffggf mmmffgggf" so how ya gonna know if they're smart? And besides, if you're wondering if she's smart while getting a BJ, you have Serious Issues. So I figured I'd keep whatever smarts I had hidden. It worked all through high school where I graduated Summa cum Difficultia. It wasn't because I was dumb, I was just PLAYING dumb. So then I wised up, somehow, in junior college. I was always Good at School and I made it all the way to an Advanced Degree.

So I don't know how to tell if I'm smart enough for you. I mean, the SAT is supposed to be mostly an intelligence test. I had great scores, but before I took the test I smoked this rock of pink hash I had been saving for it, so it might have been "in cannabis veritas" instead of intelligence, although I was always good at guessing out multiple choice tests even if I knew precisely zip about the material. I got conned into taking the LSAT and made a great score on that too, and they would have given me a scholarship because they wanted more women, but they wanted gay women of color and I'm a straight blond, and I didn't want to be a lawyer anyway.

I've actually had trouble finding "smart" guys. I'm getting on in my twenties and the "smart" guys have already hooked up. God gave guys a penis and a brain, but only enough blood to run one at a time. I don't think I'm all that hot, but when a guy looks at me and comes out with some lame line I know where his blood is. I still don't know whether he's smart enough. Then I was talking with this girl Wu-wu Liu, she's Chinese and we just call her "Betty." Anyway, she's a post grad PhD in Bio-something and she says that most people only use about 10% of their available brainpower anyway, which is why we all act like such freakin' idiots no matter WHAT our GRE scores say.

So anyway, best of luck on your search, but when you find her, just remember where your blood goes!

I'm having trouble figuring out if you were going for humor in this post, or what.

I'm giving up on this thread though. I have gotten a few great responses but it seems people just seem way too focused on the title, without reading anything about what I actually wrote about myself, which is unfortunate.

I apologize for the misunderstanding with everybody. Really do apologize.

Before I signed up folks told me, "You won't like it. Everyone is SO SERIOUS and into themselves. They don't LIKE humor, they won't think you are funny, you'll offend everyone.

That's not true at all. I'm just tired of this thread and people giving me crap about the title, honestly.

Maybe I'm an unusual woman (actually, I know I am), or maybe I'm just several years past the acting dumb to get a date age, but it never even occurred to me to be insulted in regard to the title of your post. I've passed by many that have had that exact same effect. However, I do understand the sentiment of the women who feel patronized by what they read into it.

I've never spent one minute of my 45 years trying to hide my intelligence, though I know many women who have. Then they are resentful when they find a man who doesn't value intelligence. Gee, I wonder why?

Personally, I think that intelligent conversation is a lifeblood and makes this go around interesting and fun. Sex is sex and can be had with oneself, if it comes down to that. But a good conversation over a beer is something that neither science nor nature can provide you by yourself.

I wouldn't take the criticisms so much to heart. And, believe me, they are not nearly as scathing or as lengthy and numerous as some have received. (See the thread about the guy who wanted to "get" his GF to go down on him)

Anyway, just thought I'd throw a little encouragement your way. And, just so you know, the men around Lit aren't all very intelligent either.
