Walking down 12th street Richard, along with his friend Mike, were discussing their college.

"And I'm still having difficulties understanding the cultures and ideologies of all the groups during the Renaissance," complained Mike.

"I don't really understand it either but I just narrow it down carefully," replied Richard.

They crossed the intersection and looked up as their college came into view. "Well, another day in college," sighed Mike, "What day is it today?"

Richard thought for a moment, "... it's Friday. How could you forget that?"

Mike shrugged, "I'm forgetful."

Richard smiled, "That's why you're not good at tests."

Before they knew it, they had arrived at the building. Mike and Richard split up at the hallway, Richard going to his English class, and Mike going to his Western Civilization class.

It took me the whole afternoon till late in the evening to get down from the plane, being driven by a cab to the campus, find my room (where I was alone), put some of my stuff in order, read all the latests brochures that were scattered there, accustom myself to the daily schedule, understand a few things and finally falling so tired on my bed that I slept for hours.... I was lucky enough that I had turned the waker on on my cellphone and it woke me up just in time to have a shower and run to the administration building for my appointment. A few words later I was led in the ahlls of the college.
The headmaster knocked at the door and entered the classroom.
He introduced me, even writing my name on the board : Sophie Durand. He said the few things they had to know, that I came in exchange from Switzerland and would stay a couple of months to improve my English. I was sent to sit besides a good-looking Richard who learned at that moment that he was going to be my guide who would ahve to show me around ; he looked at me with his pretty blue eyes and I smiled at him, sitting next to him.
And there startes my first class in here...
I felt so many eyes darting on me, trying to see if Swiss people were as aliens as green men from Mars, some even wondering where Switzerland was, many as usual mixing it with Sweden, and so on. Dman, the rumors went so wild that the teacher had to call loud for silence soon. I felt so sorry for being the cause of the mess up in his course.
