Does 'muscular' mean that such women are naturally assertive and dominant? .-)

For those who love a ripped, muscular woman, look up the name "Laurie Steele".
You can thank me later

One of the things I miss most about going to the gym is seeing muscular ladies there. Most women cannot develop big muscles, but that ripped, lean look is very hot. And I love seeing women putting all of their effort into lifting or pushing weights. That effort, that strain, is very sexy.
I have seen pics and vids of some female bodybuilders and some of them have very large clitorises. I find this very hot. I love large nipples and clits.

Recently, Robert Kennedy, founder of Oxygen Magazine (among others), has passed away.
It is a great loss.
Oxygen is, of course, the Women's Fitness magazine.

one of my old campers from summer camp is all grown up now and living on her own. we keep in touch via Facebook. she's an amateur body builder and is always posting pictures of herself from her various competitions. it's a huge turn on and like having a daily feed of soft porn i can safely view at work!

CAN you in fact safely view that at work?
I would think that it would count as NSFW.

This is fabulous.
My next series incidentally is about a daughter and her mother. It's a really special sort of intimacy that's possible. I hope I do it well.

I've always been a fan of the "assertive woman aggressively seduces shy guy" fantasy...
And now it occurs to me that it's only a small step further to "assertive and very strong woman pins down and has her way with a feebly protesting shy guy"

Seems my stories are fairly niche. Then again, it's not as if I didn't know that muscular women are a very niche taste.
I hope I will generate more interest with my next series, which is to do with incestuous themes as well. Then again, would the combination become even MORE niche...? lol

Muscular girls and women don't get that much love in the wider world, do they?
I keep hoping it will change.

They really don't and I honestly believe, in many cases, a large number of men feel a little confused around woman who are stronger and/or carry more muscle than they do. I think it simply makes some men feel a little less manly. I think this is usually seen in the reaction of the man.
a secure man who simply isn't attracted to muscular women seems most often to have a reaction of appreciation for the work involved, but not to his personal taste........no harm, no foul
an insecure man often reacts with complete repulsion and judgemental comments such as, the woman looks like a "dude".
These are generalizations of course, but seem to be something I've commonly observed.
FWIW, I have always had a thing for hyper-muscular women, to the exent that both my marriages have been to female bodybuilders. For 20+ years I've also trained a number of women for bodybuilding and fitness/figure shows, so it's a subject I'm very familiar with.
Most of the pictures in this thread are of pharmaceutically enhanced women. I'm not particularly attracted to the ultra lean look as, having trained women to contest shape, I know that most suffer a crash in libido once they get below 10% bodyfat although sometimes it can be mediated with androgens.
Personally, but not exclusively, I like muscular women who have enough bodyfat to retain their curves..........somewhere in the 15-20% range.
I'm also not exclusively attracted to muscular women and, in fact, voluptuous, curvy women really do it for me. But my range of attraction can go from very thin women to BBW women.........it has more to do with the attitude of the woman than anything else.

So your preferences are mediated by your personal experience... interesting.
I agree that the hyper-lean look isn't as appealing as the more natural kind of look. For example, MMA fighter Rin Nakai? Fitness model Tan Ying Ying? or, off-season natural bodybuilders who haven't enhanced themselves (all that much) with anabolic steroids?
It is very interesting for me to hear about men's perspectives.
When you say the attitude, does it encompass all areas of life? Or, are you talking about attitudes in say, the bedroom? i.e. is she aggressive, combative, confident, sultry, girlish, etc?

Wow, thanks alot for this thread it's right up my street as it were, playing rugby to a high standard I keep myself in good shape and enjoy building good amounts of lean muscle. I find muscular women really sexy and a massive turn on, but I also appreciate the hard work and dedication that has gone into what they have achieved due to my experience in sport. Either way I love what I see!

I would say my preference is less mediated by personal experience and it's more that I've just always been attracted to athletic and/or muscular women and have sought them out. In regards to hyper-muscular women, I would say my original attraction bordered more on a fetish type interest.
If anything, my attraction to hyper-muscular women has diminished some over the years, as my personal experience is many of them suffer from some sort of body dysmorphic disorder. The inside personality often doesn't match the outside image in that they appear to be very confidant, outgoing women with high self-esteem, but are actually very insecure, image obsessed women with self-esteem issues. This again, is a broad generalization, but one I've consistantly observed. A very muscular women with a healthy sense of body image and self-esteem is a rare but very attractive bird for me.
As far as attitude goes, I'm referring to both a women's attitude towards life in general as well as her attitude sexually. I prefer the company of women (and people in general) who, while being self confident, intelligent and emotionally strong, also possess compassion and open-mindedness. In this regard, I can find a woman who fits my phyiscal ideal repulsive if her personality is one of high judgement, low self-awareness and negativety. Conversely I can view a women objectively as physically average, but get to know her, really connect with her personality, life and sexual attitudes and find her irresistable.
I also believe that certain people simply and literally have a compatible body chemistry that has more to do with evolution, but that's another topic.

Compatible body chemistry.. It's an interesting topic. Would you like to expound more?
Regarding the body dysmorphia, I suppose that holds true for some of the bodybuilders. I wouldn't really say it holds true for me, because most of us have felt concern about wanting to look better at some point, and it's not on the level of a dysmorphic disorder for me, I don't think!

To be honest, I don't know a great deal about the body chemistry issue other than having read a couple of interesting articles on the subject, that seemed to be mostly theory with only the beginnings of scientific data to support it. There may be more information at the present time, but I haven't come across it or looked any deaper into the idea.
The general theory is that people have a hormonal chemistry (odour even) that attracts others of a certain chemistry that when coupled produces stronger off-spring. Two very similar body chemistry's would produce less hardy or even disabled off-spring, as is often seen in cases of incest. So, from a primal, evolutionary perspective, people naturally pick up the scent (or chemistry) of someone who has a somewhat different genetic make-up that together would produce a stronger child who would propegate the species.
There was even a suggestion that birth control can actually throw off the chemistry of a woman and when she couples with a man and later goes off birth control (in a reproductive effort) it changes her chemistry, often times making the couple less attracted to oneanother. They wondered if this might have something to do with the "7 year itch" and divorce rats. I have no idea if any of it is remotely accurate, but an interesting read nonetheless.
As for body dysmorphia, I would imagine it holds true for a very many male and female bodybuilders and certainly a great many also have other ocd type traits. But, that is simply a generalization I've made and I believe there are a great many people who lift weights and workout, enjoying the process without any undue emotional/behavioural difficulties.
