While I have never dated a female body builder I have seen a few in the dressing room that train at my gym, most are too muscular for my taste, I enjoy nice toned muscles. but .. I spend a lot of time at gyms. I don't lift very much but do a lot of aerobics, spin, cardio and play volleyball.

I'll admit to watching the girls that lift and being a bit turned on by a girl with muscles. My gym doesn't have any of the hard-core heavy female lifters who are bigger than the guys - I don't think I'd like those as much. But the girls who are really well built with obvious muscle do turn me on

For me, I have to say, I cannot imagine seeing a muscular female form and not automatically getting turned on, generally. I may like the steroid-sculpted bodies less than natural muscles, but I just think muscles will add much more than they detract.

Last week there was digital Article (yahoo new) about a Univeristity of Georgia Cheerleader. This chick was big (bodybuilder). I pressed on and read the complete article.

However, I think there is too much of a hangup about being "all woman". What is that supposed to mean anyway? You're whatever you feel you are, without other people judging you unfairly.

I find it interesting that it's mostly women or openly bi-sexual guys that have this fetish in this thread. I'm a straight 21 year old male who's been attracted to muscular and/or strong women for as long as I can remember. I enjoy "normal" women as well, but not close to the amount I enjoy a muscular woman. I can get off on even a little bit of muscle on a woman, up to female bodybuilders, which makes me think that I'm at least partially attracted to the idea of a strong or muscular woman. I know this can't be the whole story though, as I'm not attracted to every muscular woman I see. I of course had questions about my sexuality growing up as this is a pretty taboo fetish to have, but I've come to terms with everything now and know what I like.

As for Katie's question about what kind of activities I envision, I'm very vanilla in my sex-life, whether it comes to being with a muscular woman or not. I just cringe at some of the associated activities/fetishes that sometimes go along with an attraction to muscular women. I have no interest in pretty much all of the BDSM aspects that people often group in with this attraction (at least from the male's point of view towards the female). This includes bondage, whipping, feminization, etc., etc.). I also get turned off by large clits, which is, at least in my eyes, an unfortunate side effect that comes along with testosterone intake among the bigger women.

All of this isn't to say that I don't enjoy taking a submissive role though. I like to feel her strength and have her take control in bed. I also like her to "show off" by either flexing or playing rough. The only thing here is that this sexual relationship has to be mutual. She has to be into doing this as well, and then be able to shut the dominant aspect of it off. Outside of the bedroom I treat her as I would any other woman, and take on a more dominant role in social situations and romantically. I like to feel like I'm in charge in every facet of life (not in a macho way, but rather that I can just be relied upon), and that I can protect her (whether she's stronger or not), and then the role-reversal in the bedroom is sort of my release. I'm not against switching up and becoming the dominant one at times, but primarily I'd be submissive.

This is why I have never and will never try a session, because the romantic element would not be there and everything would be forced. The romantic element is a key ingredient for me.

I know that this sounds unbelievably picky, which is why my experiences with stronger women are few and far between. I have tried to take on a more submissive role in the bedroom with smaller girls as well, but it's just not the same, and I end up taking control. I think the reality of a muscular woman being able to handle you is what does it.

Yes. She doesn't even necessarily have to be flexing. I think it has to do with me actively looking for some sign of muscle though. It's tough to say what the primary attraction for me is actually. I'm not sure if the reason I'm attracted to the aesthetic look of a muscular woman is because I've learned to equate that with dominance throughout my lifetime, or vice versa. But either way, I definitely prefer an experience where I'm handled by her in the bedroom. I'm open to switching it up, and can get off on that too, but having her take the dominant role is my primary interest.

Well, of course I'm describing an idealized view. I realize that no relationship is going to be that black and white with such outlined roles. It's just sort of a preference for me to have. And when I say I'd take on a more dominant role outside of the bedroom, I don't mean anything drastic, rather just a "typical" boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. I know that a lot of guys into the dominant/submissive relationship want it to be like that 24/7, so I thought I'd just specify.

As to having her "turn it off" as it relates to my preferences, not exactly, no. While there is a certain element of being selfish to fulfill my own sexual needs, a big thing for me is that there has to be a romantic element, and she should be into it just as much as I am. And it's not like I'd have set times for her to all of a sudden switch into a dominant role, rather, I'd encourage her initiating it.

Basically all I'm trying to say is that there should be a common understanding between the two of us that what happens in the bedroom doesn't define the relationship. There would be an understanding that what happens in the bedroom is sort of an "act", where we both play into each other's fantasies to get each other off. Like I said before, the role-reversal aspect of it is a big turn on for me, and it would have to be for her as well to make it work.
