There is no more-powerful corporate entity than Leverette Industries. The remaining clutches of humanity on the American west-coast, the people that haven't been swept into the rising ocean by tsunamis or swallowed by daily earthquakes, all live in the single city conglomerate created and ruled by the bureaucratic entity. Everywhere one looks the influence of Leverette is apparent, from the logo imprinted on crumbling brick in the rows of shanties to the Leverette glass-eye-monitors that scramble on mechanical feet beneath the legs of merchants.

Despite the omnipresence of Leverette, no-one knows who represents the corporation. Crews on the decaying ocean docks receive necessary goods by freighters driven by mechanical robots, all delivered in Leverette crates with attached orders. The streets are patrolled by grey windowless Leverette cars that spray a blue sweet mist into the air. Citizens who seek to elevate their status vanish with no trace.

Rumors, as usual, flow through the city. Some say Leverette is actually a leftover supercomputer that used to control satellites and now is attempting to corral the remaining humans into a lifeboat of survival. Others say China has surpassed America and is using their influence to create a puppet state. Others say Leverette is like the corporations of old: ruled by a single man who steals women from the streets and slays his enemies.

The population of Leverette-Town isn't happy. There are small groups of people banding together in secret, some plan escape, and some plan for revolt. The revolutionaries are removing their own limbs and replacing them with mechanical assistance, pulleys and hydrolic pumps adhere to the skin of some men. The escapees dig, convinced that they can tunnel under the 100 foot wall surrounding Leverette and find an untouched historic America.

If you read the above and think you and I can develop characters in this Steampunk/Post-Apoc setting feel free to PM me or develop ideas in this thread. I enjoy not working with a pre-determined outline and would enjoy the spontaneous; from a rollicking action adventure that focuses on two friends trying to escape, to the corporate mechanications of Leverette abusing its citizens.

I am a young male interested in heterosexual scenarios, preferably with a human female. But if you have a crazy idea that involves robots or faceless corporate spectres I'll give it a shot.

Thread will be closed to one person after sufficient repoire has been established. I look forward to meeting you.
