Jake dressed casual for his meeting with Jin Shou. Jessica had arranged it, describing it to him almost as if he was going to meet a blind date, except, of course, he knew who he was going to meet and she didn't.

They'd picked a small, dark bar on the outskirts of town, far away from where people might know either one of them. He entered and paused for a moment, letting his eyes adjust. He found Jin sitting in a corner booth, nursing a drink. He walked inside and was standing over her before she noticed him.

"Hello, Jin," he said with confidence, sitting across from her. "Thanks for meeting me."

Jin's fake ID was flawless and she'd gotten in to the bar no problem. She was curious as to who Jessica thought it was so important to meet. She didn't know Jessica very well but she did know her professionally and once in a blue moon they had shared good clients with one another. That's what she'd been expecting when she'd come.

She didn't for sure know if she was meeting a potential client or even what kind of place this would be so she'd been careful how she dressed. A loose jade colored peasant blouse left a good bit of her impressive cleavage on display but was airy enough to not focus attention on her breasts. Her white capris hugged her rear and legs but were innocent and stylish enough to not really stand out. A pair of wedge sandals gave her another inch of height and shaped her calves and ass while a dangling necklace rested stop her breasts. Overall the outfit tactfully displayed her wares with making it obvious she had her wares on sale to begin with.

When her guidance councillor appeared in front of her Jin just about spit her cranberry juice and vodka back into it's glass. "I think you are mistaken," she said quickly, "My name is Miko and I'm waiting for someone."

"I think you are mistaken," Jin said quickly, "My name is Miko and I'm waiting for someone."

Jake's smile widened at her cover story. He slid into the booth without waiting for an invitation and gestured the waitress over. He glanced at Jin's drink, ordered another for her -- this might go easier if she's relaxed, he thought -- then ordered a local micro brew off the tap for himself. Once the waitress had departed, he said, "Jin Shou ... Senior, Harrison High ... 18 years of age--" He leaned in closer and added quieter, "Which would be of interest to this bar's owner and the Liquor Commission which controls its license to serve booze, don't you think...?"

The waitress returned and he paused. Once she'd left, he continued, "Close with her family, which is Chinese, not Japanese as many of the less-aware students think ... actually, the word for people like that is racially-ignorant, but but hey, I can't tell the difference between most of our Arab and Eastern European students so who am I to criticize, right...? Good student ... great grades..."

Jake glanced down to her figure; sitting at the table in a loose blouse, her features were muted more than she'd shown a few times on campus when she'd been wearing clothes just a bit tighter and shape-forming than her traditional, conservative mother probably would have liked. But, he knew what was under there ... and he had thought of nothing more than interviewing her for a position in the whore house since Jessica had confirmed she was willing to meet him.

"Good student ... great grades," he'd said, and now he added, "And even better body ... which she is willing to sell to men when necessary ... which brings us to the reason for our ... little get together."

He lifted his beer and took a long draw, allowing her to absorb what he knew and make her response.

She'd been set up. She didn't know why but Jessica had set her up. There was no way Jessica had just thought him a good customer to share. None of the school's "working girls" worked anywhere near school. Across town none of the Johns knew their real names or lives. Jake knew everything.

For the first time in a long time Jin was ashamed. Not of what she'd done. She was fine with who she was and what she did. Her mother and her had been in a bad place, days away from being homeless and destitute with their only family an ocean away. She had done what she had to and felt no shame for it. She had even come to enjoy her job and the chance to do things no good girl would do.

No, Jin was ashamed of what this would do to her mother. Xian worked hard to support them. As far as she knew she still paid the lion's share of the bills. She didn't know that Jin paid for almost all their food, more than half their utilities, and a big chunk of the rent. When Jin lost her ability to work all those bills would crash down on her mother. It would wipe them out financially. It would destroy her mother emotionally to think she had failed to provide and she had been living off Jin selling her body all this time.

"What do you want?" Jin asked without emotion. The best case was he intended to blackmail her into screwing him. The worst was the cops waiting outside.

"I want you to work with me," Jake answered. As soon as he spoke, he realized his answer had made him appear as if a pimp. He was organizing prostitutes, yes, but he didn't consider himself a pimp as he understood the word. "What I mean is ... some of us ... some of YOU ... Are, for lack of a better word, organizing. We want to know if you would like to join us. A safe location, a wider customer base ..."

He glanced to her form again and, feeling more confident than he'd been in years, added, "And who knows ... we, meaning you and I, might enjoy mixing a little pleasure with our business from time to time.

(OOC on my phone and out of time. Sorry it's short.)

Jin stared at him cautiously. She didn't have any desire for a pimp. She liked working on her own. "Explain organizing." She tried to ignore his stares, most men gave her them. Really his suggested arrangement wasn't any different from what happened at the bar.

"Organizing," he repeated, as if simply speaking the word would tell her all she needed to know. When it was obvious she wanted more, he continued, "I am in the process of securing a location where you ladies ... and gentlemen, to be precise ... will be able to conduct business in safety ... in comfort ... You will be close to the school--" he chose not to tell Jin that they would be at the school. "--but your anonymity will be guaranteed from all but your customers. So, I'm thinking that should be convenient. You will have your own room ... You can decorate it in any fashion you wish."

He hesitated for a moment, wondering how much more he should tell her.

"A whore house," Jin said, her voice conveying more disgust than she actually felt. Truthfully the idea wasn't that bad at all. There was a certain attraction to the idea, a certain elegance. The problem was her councilor was the one proposing it. "I suppose you are the one in charge?"

"A whore house," Jin said, the tone of disgust evident in her voice. "I suppose you are the one in charge?"

"Yes," Jake said, then quickly added, "Well ... sort of. I am organizing it. I have arranged a location ... I have secured funding to get us started ... I am--" He considered his ongoing arrangement with John Shepard, in which John was going to get Jake's boss, Paula Hanover, into an incriminating situation -- sexual situation -- which Jake could record, much as he had Jessica's blow job in the bar that had begun all of this. Once he had control over her, he could black mail the additional privacy he needed for the campus building in which the whore house would be located. "I am arranging our privacy. Now ... all I need ... is young, working women ... such as yourself ... who would like to earn their money without ever having to kneel in a dirty alley again ... or blow a drunk in a back poker room."

Jake said the last bit, thinking of Jessica. He had no idea of how well the girls he'd talked to thus far knew each other or each others' business. Were they like teenagers at a sleep over, sharing secrets; or were they like corporate competitors, keeping their business dealings close to their bosoms?

Not every John was a fun time. Truth be told most just paid the bills, and that meant she'd sucked and fucked in some places she'd have rather not with some people she'd have rather not. A stable place to work, with other girls, if he could keep it private...?

"What proof do you have you can deliver on this?"

(OOC -- Note the comparison of days between Jake's meeting with Erin -- Monday -- and this meeting with Jin -- Tuesday.)

"What proof do you have you can deliver on this?" Jin asked.

Jake thought about that for a moment, and responded with an uncertain, "Hmm..."

No one had asked him to prove he was able to put this all together yet. He'd shown Jessica the campus photo -- like the others, she'd seen it before, of course, as it was on the cover of the school's year book -- and she'd consented to the plan, calling it plausible. Jake had interviewed Erin yesterday, and while they'd talked about the whore house itself -- and many of the details concerning its operation and management -- she'd never actually asked Jake whether or not he thought he could pull it off.

"I am a confident person," he answered. He hadn't been, of course, until that past Wednesday night; successfully black mailing Jessica into his bed -- which, of course, she could have avoided but chose not to, which only buoyed his confidence more -- and then, assuming she hadn't faked it, driving her to her own orgasm; then getting close to fucking one of the college girls next door; then having the nerve to simply drop his pants before Erin and, essentially, tell her to suck this ... right now, Jake wasn't just flying high, he was achieving orbit!

Of course, Physics was his Major before he shifted to Sociology and Psychology, so he was very aware that what goes up, must come down; he just hoped that if -- when -- he came down, it wasn't straight into a prison cell at County ... or a shallow grave in the park. He said to her with total confidence, "I can make this work. Help me to help you, Jin. And ... if you have any doubts about my dedication to this..."

Jake looked about for prying eyes, saw none, then reached into his jacket pocket. He pulled out a wad of bills -- his rapidly dwindling cash out of stocks, bonds, and 401-K savings. He thought back to what he'd heard Jessica telling her "John" that night in the bar -- "Fifty bucks will get you blown. A hun'erd'll get you laid. If you want something a bit more kinky ... we can negotiate " -- and stripped off five one hundred dollar bills, hoping it would impress his intentions upon Jin. He paused, again looking around for busy bodies as he slipped the bills into a cloth napkin; he dabbed his lips, then set the napkin on the table half way between them. "This is for you ... as a ... let's call it a retainer ... like lawyers get, know what I mean? I'm retaining your services ... and when we are ready, you'll come work with us ... or, at least come check it out, okay...?"

Jin looked at the money he'd slipped into the napkin. She palmed the cash quickly and stuffed it in one of her pockets. "All this buys you is consideration of your offer." She fished into her purse for a card and handed it to him. "When you can prove to me that you can make it work call me and I'll have a look."

"Fine," Jake said, thinking all the while, No, that's not fine. He was going to suggest that with his retainer of sexual services, he get a taste of the fine, Asian beauty. But, he reminded himself of how his pushy, confident behavior with Erin the night before hadn't gone exactly the way he'd wanted it to, and he decided to wait.

Jake would have Jin ... eventually. He was in this for the sex, and one way or another, he was going to get a piece of each and every one of these girls ... or, so he hoped. No, for now, he'd go home and beat off to the image of that sexy photo of her in the cowboy hat -- again -- and be happy.

Or ... maybe the college girls are home...?

It was time to leave, before he changed his mind and did something stupid. Jake slid out of the booth, ripped off another twenty and tossed it onto the table to cover the drinks, and smiled. "I'll see you at school, Jin--"

Jin looked up at his quickly, and Jake chuckled just as fast. It was likely the sudden reminder that they already had a working relationship, so Jake quickly said, "No worries, this is between you and I ... and it will not affect our relationship at school."

He smiled again, and simply turned and walked away...
