I like the doctor/patient angle, too. I'm working on writing a series of stories about a guy who gets paid to participate in clinical studies and the doctor and her assistant, although very professional at all times, have to do very personal things, like measuring him and asking him detailed questions about his sex life.

Yeah, I'm not sure I exactly understand the "too self-confident" thing, either. You can be confident and still be shy enough to be exploited in an arousing way.

I'm not sure why some people get off on humiliation. It's an interesting subject.

I think that's an understandable response for something out of the ordinary in a situation like that. I'm sure some people would find that situation horrifying, both to watch and to be the subject of laughter, and I'm sure there would be some who would really get off on it, too.

I'm not sure I know why it's arousing, either, but I think it as something to do with an unexpected response to a sensitive situation, and probably something to do with the elements of control and dominance.

In my opinion, stories of that nature have to have some boundaries that are pushed gradually throughout the story. I also think the stories are better when the character has some dignity and self-respect to begn with. I find it more difficult to get into a story where the only thing going for the character is that he has a hot wife. To me, the stories are far more interesting if the guy has at least something going for him, or even appears to have a perfect life, but he's secretly a cuckold and maybe he even enjoys that.

I think you're right about the internal conflict, and knowing how far to go is definitely something to keep in mind. If it goes too far, it's no fun and if it doesn't go far enough, it's no fun. At the same time, it's not the easiest thing to talk about because talking about it and planning it out would break the spell, too.

I think in most cases, the relationship would be important. Otherwise, you wouldn't know the boundaries. I don't think I'd want to be in a situation that had no limits.
