I know we'd find something we'd love to do together. My main concern now is that this job search so often has me so anxious that I can't focus when I try to write even for the stories I have. But that could be changing soon.

I would gladly wait until you feel up to writing, especially since jobs are so, so important.

I'm doing modern now, with a some sci-fi/fantasy mixed in with Dragon. I think a historical setting would be great to try, though there isn't any that I'm very comfortable with. Research would be necessary.

My ideas run the gamut of all sorts of settings and genres. I'm even writing one now where I'm playing an action doll that comes to life on Christmas eve. On the other hand, I'm writing one with Miranda by email where I'm playing an American college grad who goes to England for a job, only to be forced to take a position as a maid for a woman undergoing cancer treatment, and I end up slowly falling for the daughter in what becomes the first lesbian experience for each of them.

For some reason, I find myself thinking lately of an idea I had not long ago, about two women who, each for their own reasons, want to move west after the Civil War, but the wagon train master won't let unaccompanied women travel with the wagon train. The two women meet and decide that they will pose as a couple, one of them dressing and pretending to be a man, the husband of the other woman, just so they can travel west together.

They would share the same covered wagon, so they are forced to be in close contact and rely on each other heavily to get along in the harsh travel conditions. As time goes on, they become close, and even intimate, with the necessity of posing as a couple actually establishing the bonds of being a couple. The historical setting need not be a problem really, as far as technical details. It would be easy enough to simply draw from western movies and shows for inspiration, and heaven knows they weren't really all that accurate.

lol. DW Gundam is...well, for lack of a better term, it's a large scale tactical beatdown game. Unlike regular Dynasty Warriors games, however, you're in Mobile Weapons from Mobile Suit: Gundam, one of the longest standing Anime franchises around.
