The sun had almost completely disappeared behind the horizon by now and the sky was a dark fiery red glimming with the last light of the fading day. The demons' eyes effortlessly adjusted to the growing darkness and Axandar smiled, "So, here we are. This is where everything started. I'm so happy I hit the water here and not anywhere else." He put down the bundle he carried and placed both hands on Rayne's hips, pulling her softly against him and giving her a tender and sensual kiss. Reluctantly he broke the kiss and with a happy smile he asked, "Want to go swimming?"

He quickly spread the blanket open and a few moments later he was standing naked in front of her and quickly shifted into his demonic form. He waited for his mate to follow his example and held his hands out for her to grasp as he carefully walked towards the water. "The water will feel cold at first but you'll quickly get warm once we're inside. One of the perks of our nature - the elements pose basically no danger and only a little discomfort to us."

Slowly and carefully Axandar guided Rayne into the dark water, playfully splashing some of it at her. Once they were inside and floating free he held her at her hands, smiling, "And? How do you feel? I know it's a bit awkward with the wings, but you'll get used to it in a few moments. First, I want you to spread out your wings. Can you feel the water pushing and pulling on them? Good, try to hold them steady against the flow."

For the next hour the incubus showed his mate the basics of their wings, how they could move and how strong they were. He taught her how she had to move her wings to catapult herself through the currents faster than most aquatic animals and much faster than any human could ever hope to be without the aid of technology. He explained how to control her movement, how to rapidly change direction or stop. Soon they were racing through the water, laughing and cheering at each other and sometimes even diving below the surface for a little.

Finally they made it back to the beach to rest a bit. "You're a fast learner, I'm very proud of you darling. I'd say in at most two days we can move into the air. The movements and techniques will basically be the same, but there are several differences. The most important ones are that you obviously won't float in air as you do in water so you need to keep your wings in motion but on the other hand you'll face much less resistance in air than in water which makes the movements easier."

Rayne was more than thrilled to go swimming. And just as Axandar had said, her body quickly adjusted to the temperature of the water and soon she felt free and almost liberated in the water. She didn't feel the dark depths, happy to feel her wings move within the water and being naked felt almost luxurious and sexy...like silk rubbing all over her naked form and arousing her as they played, splashed and she learned.

In the end, she was pleasantly exhausted, but also felt more than eager to learn the next steps...to take flight...it sounded impossible and completely thrilling. "I can't wait." She told him honestly, her smile large and sweet as she gazed up at him with trust and love.

Sinking onto the blanket he had brought along, she squeezed the water from her hair, the ruffled it and sighed. "Mmmm...that was fun...but I am also eager to learn what you were saying about fire...?" She added, running her hands down his arms and squeezing his hands before letting go and sitting back onto her heels. "Is that something we can work on tonight as well?"

After the long lessen in the dark water Axandar and Rayne went back onto the beach and sat down on the blanket. He gently helped her with her hair and then knelt down in front of her, using his unfolded wings to shield them from the cool breeze of the night. "I can't wait," she told him and her wonderful smile made his own face light up with a happy smile. "I know darling, just a litte bit longer and you can experience it yourself. You'll love it, I promise! But if you're unsure or have any questions, just ask me. I don't want to force anything on you."

"Is that something we can work on tonight as well?" The incubus grinned and then nodded, "Sure, but do we have enough wood for a medium sized bonfire around? Or would you want to start smaller... perhaps with a candle?" And he added a quick teasing grin and leaned in to whisper in Rayne's ear, "... and some hot wax on naked skin? If you want to try it out I'm definitively ready for it."

He reached for one of the bottled drinks and opened it, handing it to Rayne before opening a second one for himself. The cool liquid felt refreshing as it ran down his throat, washing away the salty taste left behind in his mouth by the sea water. Their bodies were still hot but they could feel the night's air getting quite cool as the breeze picked up and Axandar moved closer to his mate, drawing his wings closer around them.

"Mmmmm... you're so hot baby," he moaned softly as their bodies touched more intimately and he ran his free hand over the soft curves of her hip. "I could stay up all night with you and do all the naughty things we've been missing out. But I would also really like to stay with you here on the beach a little longer. Just you and me and the waves and the stars, enjoying a wonderful peaceful night together."

Rayne shivered with pleasure at the image he conjured up in her mind. She'd never tried hot wax before, but they way he'd said it made her want to try it. She grinned and felt her nipples tighten. "Mmmm...sounds interesting...I wouldn't mind trying that, but I have no candles on me at the moment." She patted her skin playfully, running her fingers over her form and giggling.

She watched his dark eyes follow her fingers as they brushed over her curves. Her breasts were slightly larger and very sensitive, but still firm and full, complimenting her growing belly.

She sighed when he reached over to touch her, his voice husky and sexy. "I want all of that as well..." She said with a soft smile and wrapped her arms around him, pulling herself closer to him. Her sweet body pressed against his hard planes as she kissed him softly.

He caught her close and slowly they sank back, cuddled together as Rayne tipped her head back and gazed up at the stars. "It's a beautiful night..."
