Somehow I doubt any political strategist of Obama's has seen any electoral advantage in getting involved in Libya. What conceivable advantage is there?

Nor does this appear to be a job that would have appealed to any neocon holdovers there might be from the last Admin. Libya has oil, but its strategic position . . . meh.

They must be acting on principle or some stupid shit like that.
