Francis and Zoey had just gotten into the safe room as Bill slid the metal deadbolt into place. They had been running for what seemed like five minutes straight since they heard the rumblings of another tank.
They had just run through barely making it out alive. As Francis lifted his head up and his breathing begun to turn to normal he looked down at the large slice in his arm. He had gotten it from meleeing a Hunter that had pounced ontop of Zoey. Blood continued to pour from the wound but it was the least of his worries.
Bill stood by the door glancing out through the open slat. Louis was just a long ago memory now. He had been caught by a smoker in the middle of a horde rush and no one could get to him in time.
Bill quickly turned round and grabbed some ammo for his M16 he also stuff plenty more in his pockets.
Bill moaned as he took some pills he had. They would dull the pain.
"I am getting too old for this shit."
Francis begun to grab some ammo for his pump action 12 gauge shotgun as he leaned againist the wall.
Francis looked at the wound again. He had took worse injuries in bar room brawls as a biker but he had ran alot too. So blood was pumping out fast.
He felt a little dizzy as he glanced over at Zoey and said.
"You ok Zo?)
