Nicole Williams
5'2", 115 lbs.
Las Vegas, NV
It was well after 3 AM when Nicole left the police station after a gruelling night of being interrogated. In the end, she had agreed to testify against Jacob Michaels, up and coming crime boss in Vegas. She was his arm candy but lately, he seemed to get taking a lot of his frustrations out on her and she had grown tired of it.
The thing about it was that Nicole didn't know the rumors about Jacob were true. She only though they were rumors. That's it. She wasn't blind to the fact that Jacob had money but it wasn't until after she heard everything did she realize that he had spent a lot to keep Nicole away from his business.
But after tonight, something snapped with Jacob. He was moody. Nothing, not even a small joke, was funny to him. Nicole remembered saying something and then before she could react, Jacob had popped her good on the side of the head...right in front of his whole crew.
That was the last straw for Nicole. She excused herself and headed straight for the bedroom. She had refused to cry. Instead she sat alone in the bathroom, thinking about what to do next.
That was just a few hours ago.
Now she was being escorted back to her own apartment to get some sleep before she was to be moved out tomorrow to a safehouse. Where it was, even she didn't know. No more being with Jacob anymore. It had become too dangerous. Little did she know just how dangerous it really had become.
A police cruiser was parked outside her apartment, an officer walked her in. She locked the door behind her and didn't bother to turn on the lights. She needed to rest and tomorrow....well, it was already tomorrow, but in the morning, things would look a lot less bleeker she was sure. Right now, she just needed to rest.
Nicole layed down in her bed, still fully clothed and soon she was asleep. Having restless dreams of the first time she had met Jacob. She had been working the high stakes poker room as a bartender. He liked how she made his cocktails, not too bitter and not too watery. So when he asked her out, who was she to deny him? She didn't even know about what sort of man Jacob was until well into their relationship. Her friends had told her to stay away from him, to dump him. Keep away from him.
Did Nicole listen? Of course not.
Soon she found herself falling in love for Jacob. And she was sure he felt the same about her. He told her not to work anymore and just be with him when attended fancy parties or even flew to Denver or LA with her just to take her shopping. She fell for him because it seemed like he cared for her....didn't he?
But as that was said, that was until recently. He seemed under so much pressure and when he reached his limit, he took it out on Nicole.
She had only gone to the police station to get a restraining order against him to keep away from her only to be told by the detectives that she was dating a criminal...a murderer. How the fuck could she be so damn clueless?
Little did she know that the cops weren't good enough to keep her safe. Outside, about an hour after she fell into a restless sleep, the two officers in the car outside Nicole's apartment were knocked out. Now, who ever took care of the cops were coming after Nicole...
