I sat across the table from my ex-girlfriend Jennifer. She was as beautiful as I remember, long blond hair, dim witted blue eyes, soft nose, wonderful tits. She was way above my level today and when I dated her, so when we broke up a year ago I wasn't too surprised. Though I was surprised when she invited me to dinner at a local Italian restaurant.
My surprised turned into a stupid shock, followed by rage beyond anything I could imagine.
Sitting next to Jennifer holding her hand was my father. I couldn't believe it, my ex had left me for my father and they had hid it from me for a year! I just sat across from them in mortified disbelief.
"Say something Rick please." Jennifer said.
I swallowed, not trusting my voice and not trusting my fists not to just start beating my fathers face in. "You're fucking my dad."
"Hey language please, we're not just fucking. We're dating." My father said.
"She's 38 years younger than you!" I shouted. People in the restaurant turned to stare at us.
Jennifer tried to shrink into the booth but it didn't help. "We can't help how we fell Rick, your father and I just kind of hit it off. We have a lot in common."
"You watch MTV, you have nothing in common with this man." I said, my stomach turned and I needed a drink. "I can't deal with this, my dad fucking my ex." I got out of the booth and walked out to my car.
I stared out the windshield for a long while, wondering if there was any solution to this other that drinking myself into forgetfulness. I saw none. I wish I was still in college, still stupid enough to drink until I blacked out. I miss blacking out. I picked up my phone and saw a text from my best friend Megan, What's up? she asked in tiny digital letters.
Megan and I had been friends for nearly fifteen year now. We had met at Summer Camp when we were both thirteen. I remember seeing her and thinking that she was the most beautiful and coolest girl I had ever seen. She said hi to me first and I immediately asked if I could finger her. She said no, of course, but thought I was funny and we began best friends ever since.
Despite our long friendship we never crossed the border of actually dating each other. Except once during Sophmore year in college at a holloween party we hooked up for a embarrassing 45 seconds. I was drunk and beyond any control over my orgasms. We lay there and I still remember the horror on our faces when we realized we'd just had sex with each other. I never had the courage to tell her that those 45 seconds had been the most memorable 45 seconds of my life.
She would understand my sorrow, so I texted her back, I'll be at Milo's in ten minutes. Milo's was our local hangout, a hole-in-the-wall type bar that sported good beer and decent appetizers. I was a fan of their potato skins, and the chili cheese fries.
Megan being my best friend of course beat me to the bar and already had not only a beer in front of her, but a beer in the empty spot in front of her for me. I loved her. I moved over and plopped onto the stool in front of her and grabbed my beer, chugging it down in one long painful gulp and signaling Pete behind the bar for another one.
Megan raised her eyes brow at me and I sighed, "So my Dad's got a new girlfriend." I looked up at her, "It's Jennifer."
