They're tired of "Thank You". They know you don't mean it and don't really care and are just marking your "Thanked a Vet" checkbox.

So this year, I propose:

Hump a Veteran Day. (note I am not a veteran, although a marine did once try to hump me at the embassy in Athens).

In honour of DaDT - make sure you hump only a Veteran of the opposite sex or else keep it to yourself.
 
To strengthen the "Special Relationship" that exists between our countries I would be delighted to offer my support to this fine initiative.

If you would just let me know where I might find a veteran (female please) around here who would appreciate being humped I will get to it without delay...
