Idle question. Do you think a writer can really write the part of a character of the opposite gender as well as a writer or that same gender? Are you prejudiced in only wanting a writer of the same gender as the character? Or would you be willing to accept a writer of the opposite gender who thinks they could do the role justice?

I've written a male character a number of times. It's a bit more difficult, to me, in some aspects- especially sexual scenes (hell, I have a hard enough time writing my own gender there...) But as long as no one else is objecting to it, I don't have trouble with it. |

I write women so easily, but I could write a male if I wanted to. I just haven't tried. I am open to a man writing a woman with me, but I have to trust my cowriter, if that make sense. Is he into the character her created? Does he see her as a true individual that has a life of her own, or is he wishing he was her, just trying to fulfill his own little fantasy?

There's a fucking lady bug on my desk.
A lady bug.
Talk about random thing.....
And I don't know what to do with it.
I mean, it's really cold out so if I put it outside it would probably die.....
How did a lady bug get into my house in the first place?!

As an expert in crushing bugs, I can tell you that your ladybug will indeed go crunch and then be smooshed. The colors will not mix. Ladybug insides are usually white or clear.
If you feel you will have a sad after killing said ladybug, just remember, they only live for about a week and a half anyway.
