OOC This is a continuation of The Cruise and deals with the relationship between Yvonne, and Matt, now that their Cruise is at an end, and they find themselves back in the real world.
*************************************************************************
They had left the cruise ship, and reluctantly parted, each to their own place, and when she had entered her plush apartment, Yvonne had set aside the mountain of post she had received in the three weeks she had been gone, she had dropped her luggage, with the exception of her wash bag, by the washing machine, and she had run herself a bath, climbed in, and soaked for a few hours, before she crawled into her bed, and slept the rest of that day, and all night long.
She had arranged to meet Matt, the following day, for brunch, and once she had showered, she began putting her clothing through the washing machine, and drinking coffee.
Would everything be the same between them, now that they were back on dry land?? How could it be? And yet, she wanted him like she had never wanted anyone before. That was undeniable. Nor could she deny that he had aroused her, met all her sexual needs, including those she didn't even realise she had, perfectly. How would real life affect them? Would it seem strange, to be back at work, to be Matt's boss, once more, now that she had obeyed him to such a degree?
All these questions and more filled her mind, as she made her way to the deli where they had agreed to meet. She was a little early, as was her habit, and she sat in the booth, suddenly beset by fears that perhaps he might have changed his mind. Perhaps he had decided that their working relationship was too much of a complication for them! Perhaps....... but her thoughts stilled as she glanced once more to the door, and saw him, the sun behind him, as he entered the deli. The sun behind him, shining in her eyes, made it difficult to make out his expression, and her heart beat uncontrollably, anticipation warring with anxiety.
