Just as I was thinking about starting a thread for us girls to post the lame messages we get from strangers - just as a sample to the guys of what NOT to send, I got one that's perfect to start the thread. I'll start off the thread with it below. All I ask for this thread is this:

1) Please post only unsolicited messages you get from complete strangers (Guys, feel free to comment on posts, but no ndividual comments on this thread please) that really make you wonder what their I.Q. is. No need to post the "Hi, asl?" messages, I think everyone gets those and knows they suck lol.

2) Please don't include their names or anything that would identify them. This is only meant as an educational tool for the guys to show them what NOT to send, not to embarras or attack anyone. If you see a message posted that you sent, just don't say anything and we'll never know it was you lol.

3) Guys, please take note of all the lame messages you'll see here. We get them and tons of others every day, please learn from them.

How about starting a 'best of' thread too, so that those of us who work on well crafted personal messages and seem to hit a roadblock can take pointers? :)

Wow, this might be my biggest message board peeve of all. Men and women both do it. The "I'm bored" post. Not sure what kind of person responds to that. The inference is, you might be worthy to cure my boredom, but if I weren't bored, I wouldn't be interested. Wow, talk about flattering. Way to build me up!
