How about a sex genie story which gets finished?

So far there have been 3 authors which have written a sex genie story,
Joe Brolly - The Genie Chronicles
800IbGorrila - A Beautiful Wish
The_Darkness - Scythian Nights

The first 2 have left us hanging after building up the story and the 3rd gave kind of an ending, but it could have been developed much more.

How about someone write a sex genie story which has as good a plot as the others, but gets finished. I don't care how long it is, long stories are OK if they have a good plot.

I hate it when authors leave you hanging!!!

I love genies. I've written a couple of stories you might be interested in. Raider and the Lost Lamp Is a multi-chapter story about a strong-willed woman who becomes a genie and struggles to get free. There are a few sex scenes in the story, but it's not exactly a story about a nymphomaniac girl in a harem costume screwing everything in sight.

The Perfect Species might be more along the lines of what you mean by a "sex genie" story. It's about a genie-ish woman who gets to know her new master, very intimately, over and over again.

Both of these stories are complete.

Out on the Town (A sequel/second chapter to "Best Wishes". The ending of this implies that there might be more to come in this storyline, but I've never seen anything more. So this probably doesn't suit your request. If you read "Best Wishes" on its own, it feels like a self-contained story.)

Also, the Yahoo group A Bottle of Djinn have a lot of Genie-related content, including several Adults Only genie stories.

A Beautiful Wish by 800IbGorrila was an especially well written story that had a very nice build up to it. I think I was in love with Dawn! And then... there was no "and then"! :-/

I guess the sex genie genre always lends itself to more of a quick fapp fantasy due to the "master-slave" interaction, but I think A Beautiful Wish was great because the guy wasn't a complete jerk about it (hey, he did a lot better than I would have done).

I had bookmarked The Genie Chronicles but hadn't got around to reading it yet, but I don't know now that you say that it didn't get finished. Is it as good as A Beautiful Wish?

So I can't help really... but if anyone else knows stories that are a little bit more like I just described, then I'd be very interested...

I've read the sex-Genie-with-unlimited-wishes novel attempts mentioned above and a couple others. None were finished. I think the reason is that creating the kind of resolvable conflict needed for that kind of novel is impossible.

To make a novel I would enjoy, the author needs to set up a conflict that's "just right". Too easy and I'd find the story boring. Too hard and there's no happy ending.

I think mythtrav16 succeeded in "Raider and the Lost Lamp" because he switched the problem around and looked at it from the other side. Other longer stories succeeded because there were only three wishes. (e.g. svenjolly's "Djinn in the City.")

("The Perfect Species" is a short story and isn't relevant to my point. There's also the classic, "The $1.98 Genie", which is also a short story.)

What conflicts do you guys see that might be "just right" for a novel-sized work? Is it even possible to have a good sex-Genie-with-unlimited-wishes novel?

I have to agree that the biggest flaw in the attempts has been the lack of an opposing force or goal. the lamp story had a set goal with the main character trying to escape the genies curse. the The Genie Chronicles seemed to have a turbulence building but then he/she stopped. the The Genie Chronicles have inspired me and i have been constructing my own story in this line but have found the arc quite difficult to construct. to get the best story one must build the conflict into the very start of it. The Genie Chronicles just runs on without a strong conflict.

I'm thinking about writing an incest version of a genie story with a Halloween or Christmas theme. What makes it tricky is that if there's a genie, the sex would come too easy. Perhaps if the guy is apprehensive about it might work, but we'll see.

A modern day version of 'I Dream of Jeannie' could be fun. It's 40 years later and some nerdy kid finds the bottle, and Jeannie soon discovers that things have changed in so many ways. It's not the innocent 60s any more and the kid uses his new-found toy for personal gain and to exact revenge on all those who put him down or did him wrong. And he certainly wouldn't be able to keep his hands off the lovely Jeannie either.
