Riverdale High.

A place where growing teens made flirtations, fun, and sweet love from time to time. Like anywhere else, education was tainted with the stench of budget cuts, whores, and marijuana. New lies upheld old promises, and boys and girls were just words used to generalize a new batch of media-infested teenagers in today's world. High school. Life, essentially.

Thud. Thud. Thud. Silence.

Swish.

Kayla caught the incoming pass from one of her younger teammates standing a handful of feet away.

Thud. Thud. Thud. Silence.

Swish.

Girls basketball practice was in full swing, and Kayla was determined to improve her rather ugly free throw percentage. As a senior, she knew it was now or never to forcibly remove her rather tight, bony ass off the bench and onto the court. Volleyball gave her the vertical leap and athletic desire, but it seemed basketball skills dwindled in her time as an athlete.

Kayla was a shy girl of a ripe young eighteen like most of her fellow seniors. A small blush faded across her cheeks as another shot went up, echoing like the others that surrounded the massive gymnasium. Her medium-length dark brown, nearly black hair reflected the light humming down from the skyward ceiling. Tiny beads of sweat glistened across her frail body. She was nothing impressive in terms of what the boys desired. Not to say she was ugly by any means...a cute smile and a daring attitude was God's gifts...once you got to know her, anyways. Small round breasts and a fitting volleyball butt formed her clothing, and she stood a modest 5'10".

She had her close circle of friends here and there, but he adventures outside of this were slim, including...boys! The word constantly drooled from the mouths of slutty whores and geeky tweens alike, and Kayla was no exception. However, she never saw herself getting seriously involved with one, because, quite simply, it seemed boys weren't quite interested in her.

...or were they?

Frankie was a bit of a loner, no one really interacted with him, nor he with they, but he still had respect from his fellow classmates. He was president of 2 different clubs at school, and he was in the running for class speaker at graduation. Frankie isn't the best when it comes to interacting with girls, but he tries hard even if it does fall on deaf ears, but there was one girl, Kayla, who he really was in to, and really liked, but his fear of rejection kept him from her specifically.

Frankie is the oldest in his class, at 19 years old. He is short, a bit chubby, but has a cute smile and a sense of humor, rivaled only by the big names in comedy and hollywood. He is shy, but outgoing, and tries his best at everything he takes on.

He happened to be walking past the gym, when he saw Kayla practicing her shots, so he stood at the cracked open door for a while.

A while later after an intense sprint or two, an offhand whistle tweeted and Kayla found herself monotonous shuffling towards the piled-up bleachers with the rest of the team toward the matching green water bottles, which were eagerly snatched one by one.

"Man, it seems like the same thing every day," muttered her friend Alex, a clearly superior individual based on how she typically conducted herself. Figures.

"You can say that again" mumbled Kayla as she wiped a giant stream of sweat from her forehead, panting slightly before squirting a delicious flow of water into her mouth, savoring every drop. She was plainly unaware of her visitor..

Watching Kayla drink that water so sensuously made Frankie a little turned on as he continued to watch, but he decides to walk into the gym and sit against the wall near the exit and the side of the bleachers. He sees you look his way and he smiles and blushes deeply.

A few of the girls glanced over at the newcomer, including Kayla herself. They eagerly whispered about who he was here to watch, since boys didn't come in and watch for the fun of it, typically.

Kayla eyed him with a bit of suspicion, until a whistle blew and it was back to work.

Frankie sat there watching intently, and quietly. He was never really into basketball, but if Kayla was on the team, he was determined to learn more so that he can strike up a conversation and not look like a total jackass.
