Welcome to The Bad Apple, where you can kick back, chat, drink and while away your writer's block. The Bad Apple features an authentic British climate, which in January necessitates a roaring open fire. There's a plentiful supply of booze and bar snacks and... oh yeah... the landlady's really nothing but a filthy, masochistic whore... and such a pleaser. Though The Bad Apple is in the GMT timezone, thanks to new drinking laws it's open 24/7... as is the proprietress. For the exhibitionists and those into public humiliation, there's a low walled beer garden. If you tire of casual chat, there's a well equipped 'Function Room' which by the magic of fiction contains every kinky sex toy and torture device conceived by mankind. If you tire of that, you're clearly in the wrong pub.

Ah: I hear the song I was humming under my breath. O demon alcohol, sad memories I can't recall...

Did she ask me who it was by? The sexy woman? Or was it the barmaid? Or just a voice in my head?

'Pint of Stella please,' I say to the air. Who'd have thought that I would fall...a prey to demon alco...

'The Kinks,' I say. 'The song. It's by the Kinks. Is anybody serving in here?'

Drink's a pretty demon though and most of us can handle her without becoming slaves.

I walk into the pub with a smile on my face, being a fan of Vice, I know she has set up something wonderful here. Smiling at Pat, I perch on a stool and order a rum and coke.

Looks around cautiously, given his checkered history with British Pubs.

Calls out to lit as he suddenly appears at the door to Vice's little piece of the lounge. Knocking snow off his tan leather combat boots,he looks around with Hawk Like amber eyes and takes in the somewhat rustic scene that is a definite change of pace to some of the other areas. Slipping in the door,he pulled his garrison cover off his head and slipped into a seat at the bar, he hadn't changed over from work yet so he was wearing his digital green utilities uniform, complete with trousers,a blouse and tight green undershirt. Looking around at Ausus,he offered her a slight smile but didn't say anything then looked back at Shark

I notice the entrance of Blade and giggle into my glass. I finish my drink and smile over at Shark.

Look me up sometime Shark, we should write together. Thanks, Vice for the drink!

I smile at Blade and walk out the door.

Well I dunno, I hadn't though about it since I though everyone was just taking time off for the holidays but I will put up for a recasting to be done, I dunno about trinity, she never hit me back on any of my PMs. It sucks that the thread is kinda dead after a really good start,it bothers me because it could go a lot of places.

Looks at Ausus as she takes off again,every time he shows up somewhere,she always leaves,he wonders what the hell that is about and then looks back at Lit with an intrigued brow raised

If you know anyone that would help lol but who knows,I guess we gotta try and cast again...

I had a brief time of living across the pond and it was one of the few beers that doesn't get imported often. We get Stella and Newcastle and Boddingtons. If I'm clever, I can even find Paulaner on tap. But Tetleys is much rarerer and its one of many things I miss.

Basically, I'm torn. It's a great idea but I don't want to fall behind and kill it. At least with 1 on 1's I can only piss 1 other person off. Best I let you recast me I think.

Yes, it will be good. When all else fails, fall back on what works. I like this place though, its good to be Me playing Me and you playing you as opposed to being ships that pass in the night.
