Lelouch Lamperouge, aka Zero the Revolutionary, aka Lelouch vi Britannia, was sitting inside his new office on the large floating artificially made island known as Li Quo, given to the Black Knights by the Chinese Federation to help them put up a base for their large numbers. He was checking Rakshata's current progress with some of the knightmares he had designed himself, and looking through the reports of progress from the rest of the Black Knight commanders.
He then heard a knock on the door and spoke up, his mask on his head. "Come in." In came CC who was dressed in her regular black dress, she had the normal cool look on her face and she sat down onto the desk as Zero kept working. After a few minutes Zero spoke up as he laid down the last report. "What do you want CC?"
"Your birthday is coming up Lelouch, why don't we make a party for you. " The glare from the academy student burned through his helmet at the green haired witch. "I have no need for birthday parties, I have work to do and something as trivial as a party would only burden me further, and do not call me by that name, we do not know who might walk past the doorway."
"Oh please, you have sound proofed the walls and checked for bugs every day, nobody can overhear us talking about your birthday, unless they enter through the door without knocking." As if on command the door opened up, revealing Tamaki and Ohgi with some more reports, their eyes wide as they heard the part of birthday of the conversation and Lelouch felt a headache grow.
"It's almost your birthday Zero!? Why didn't you tell us!? We have to prepare!" "Tamaki, I have no need for birthday parties, I have alread-" "Sorry to say this man but you are working like a dog in here, you need some relaxation, come on! It will be fun and good for morale!" "We can do all the work for once so we won't rely on you too much!" Tamaki looked a bit deflated as Ohgi said that, but Zero looked to be thinking as he put a finger to his helmet.
"His birthday is the 15th of May." "CC!" Zero growled out as he stood up, he had no intention of anyone finding out who he was, and yet she stated his birth date of all things, well at least not the year but still! "Oh calm down Zero, you may not know it but being awake for a week straight since working on the escape plan from Japan is not good for your health, so take a long nap so you can enjoy the party." CC stated in an unusually concern voice and Zero found himself silent while Tamaki and Ohgi stared at their leader as it sunk in that he had not slept for seven days straight, it must be much harsher to be a leader then they imagined.
"...fine... I will take some time off. But I will leave all the planning for you and Kallen, that way at least it won't get overbearing as one of you order male strippers, only pizza or make us all crossdress." CC frowned at hi mas he walked off and shouted a bit, pouting. "Oh take out all the fun from it will you!"
Lelouch laid down on his bed, locked the door, and collapsed, still dressed in his suit and mask, and fell asleep, unable to keep his eyes open any longer.
