~Wandering east of Eden, in the land of Nod, that is where the dark tressed Lilith dwelled when the heavens parted and I came crashing down with a third of the Host. We were kindred, she and I, shunned for our strength. She told me of how she was cast from the Garden for not subjugating herself to her equal. I felt a pang of dispair for her plight, so we plotted my visit to the Garden.~
The sky grew ashen grey as the war I had instigated raged on, a millenia in the blink of an eye. A third of the Host and we still fell under His judgement. The bleak sky parted and we each were cast down upon the Earth that we had so lovingly and faithfully made at His command.
I was alone, or so I thought as I dusted the dusty soil from my wings which were once waves of pure light, now leathery and black, contaminated by the dirt of the Earth. I spat and raged at the heavens as I felt a presence approach me from behind.
I wheeled upon this being so daring to come upon me in my fury, ready to unleash my wrath upon them, but held myself in check as I fixed my eyes upon a woman. She looked upon me in my diminished, corrupted form without any sign of fear or contempt. "Who are you, mortal?" I growled as I flexed my wings, drawing them about my frame like a cloak to cover my nakedness from her cold, dark eyes.
