Well, here we go again, another Titans thread.

In the wake of a war between the Justice League and the Legion of Doom, the Brotherhood of Evil tries to take control of New York City. The Doom Patrol gathers whatever heroes they can in the area and confronts the Brotherhood, eventually thwarting their plans. Meanwhile, the Legion of Doom is defeated and peace returns for a while.

The Doom Patrol departs from New York, but the heroes who gathered to help them are inspired by each other, agreeing to remain a team and fight together. They become the Titans, and set up headquarters in an old abandoned school. Led by Nightwing, they remodel the school and make themselves known in New York, fighting various criminals that surface from time to time as well as rescuing people from fires and other disasters.

It has now been two years since the Titans formed. In that time they have yet to face a serious villain, but that is all about to change. As we start the game, a normal night patrol turns into a massive battle as they witness a team of four Ninja hijacking a semi truck. They just barely manage to defeat them, and thus starts a rivalry between the Titans and the Shadow Court.

They eventually discover the leader of the Shadow Court is Master Slade, an elite Ninja and Associate of the Dojima Yakuza Family in Tokyo. Slade killed his former master and began training the Dojima Family in Ninjutsu, and was later selected to expand their operations in America. His real name is Kyozu Sakimoto, but he took the name Slade after slaying his master.

As we get further into the adventure, Slade is visited by a mysterious figure masked in darkness, who is later revealed to be Brother Sebastian (Brother Blood), a representative of the Church of Trigon. Trigonists believe their Dark Lord will one day return from Azarath, the hell-like prison realm created to seal him away in ancient times. However, every so often, Lord Trigon is able to reach into our world for a few brief moments, pulling people back to Azarath with him. Through this method, he managed to attain several wives and children.

The first time he reached back into our world, however, he had managed to send some of his power to the darkest soul he could sense in the area -- Akasha, and Ancient Egyptian queen. She became the first vampire, and sired thousands of others. They formed the early versions of what would become the Church of Trigon, worshipping their Dark Lord as a god.

In the thousands of years since, becoming a vampire has been considered a baptism of sorts in order to truly follow Trigonism.

Somewhere along the line, the Shadow Court and the Trigonists work together to rob certain artifacts from various museums, preparing for some massive ritual to revive Trigon sooner. Until his resurrection is complete, the Titans get to deal with the Children of Trigon.

So, what do you guys thinks? The Shadow Court can hire Associates, meaning various local villians to help them out. With these several story arcs, we have enough story to last a long time, plus smaller arcs we create as we go to throw inbetween the major ones.

I will be playing Nightwing, Slade, Brother Sebastian, Trigon, and a son of Trigon called Caleb. Profiles will be along tomorrow or the next day.

Okay, here is the roster so far. Certain characters are claimed for certain players unless they tell me different.

Nightwing: Me
Cyborg: Me
Beast Boy: Remec
Terra: Shukaku
Starfire: TearsoftheWorld
Supergirl: TearsoftheWorld
Raven: Mephistophelily
Red Arrow: NiteCrowe
Atom: NiteCrowe

Some of these players have not given me the final word yet, but they get first dibs on characters they've played in my past Titans games. I may bring in Superboy down the road aways, and if no one claims him, I'll play Cyborg. If possible, I'd like most of us to play good guys and bad guys, to make fight scenes better and all.

Here I am to save the day!!

I'll take on my old role of Red Arrow if that's okay *Is upset that he didn't get a role reserved, but oh well.*

Wouldn't mind also been one of the following if that's okay - Flash (Wally West), Young Green Lantern (Kyle Raynor) or a Younger version of Atom.

Sure, you can be all of them if you want, hehe. And the only reason I didn't reserve you one is because you play a different character each time we do a Titans thread. I wasn't sure who you'd want to play, lol. But I did go and invite you directly, so :p If you want, we can do like we did before, say that Dick and Roy started out as a duo prior to the Brotherhood vs. Doom Patrol event. Though, this time they can all live at the school/hq. We'll say they took old classrooms and offices and turned them into bedrooms and dens and whatnot. The cafeteria can act as the dining room/conference room, hehe.

The school was built up more than out to fit the smaller lot, giving them seven floors total. They have nicknamed this school Titans Tower.

Titans Tower has seven floors and a basement.

Basement: The basement holds the main servers and control center for the Tower, as well as the equipment and vehicle garage. There are a line of platforms that raise vehicles up to the auto shop area of the first floor.

Floor 1: This floor holds the old auto shop (which has several garage doors leading to the back alley parking lot), auditorium, cafeteria, and main offices. The cafeteria was turned into a dining room/conference room, where the Titans eat and go over various topics and mission debriefs. The auditorium was turned into a massive movie theater, and the main offices were turned into elevators (these were constructed to go to the basement and to every floor and the roof).

Floor 2: This floor was remade into a series of training rooms, as well as the Battle Deck, a large holographic chamber similar to Xavier's Danger Room.

Floor 3: The rooms on this floor were turned into dens, lounges, game rooms, etc.

Floors 4-6: These were turned into bedrooms and bathrooms.

Floor 7: This floor is where Nightwing, Red Arrow, and Cyclops make their rooms, and the rest of the floor is constructed into a series of labs they work in to create better equipment for the team. Part of this floor holds the hangar for the T-Jet, which can rise and fall like a helicopter as well as thrust forward. The ceiling in the hangar opens up, then the platform holding the jet rises up to the roof. From here, the jet has downward thrusters that lift it straight up into the air, and then away they go.

Roof: In addition to the hangar door, the roof has a section with tables and chairs for sitting out and enjoying the fresh air.
More to come later.

Nightwing
Real Name: Richard John Grayson
Age: 19
Birthday: April 21st
Occupation: Leader of the Titans as Nightwing, Owns Tech Depot as Dick Grayson

http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o178/TheJeffinator/nightwing.jpg

NOTE: Picture this suit, but with the blue arm stripes disappearing underneath the gloves (all black gloves), a utility belt, and a black cape.

Powers

Dick Grayson possesses the peak athletic strength and endurance of a man in his prime who regularly engages in intensive physical exercise. His detective and martial arts skills rival those of Bruce Wayne's, making him one of the greatest crime fighters alive. He is a master of a half dozen martial arts disciplines and was rigorously trained by his mentor in everything from escapology to criminology, fencing, stealth, disguise, and numerous other combat/non-combat disciplines.

Grayson is a prodigious natural athlete, possessing a peak human level of agility/acrobatic skills. He is the only person on Earth who can do the quadruple somersault (formerly one of three, the other two being his parents). Having had the finest education as Bruce Wayne's ward, he speaks with fluency in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese, and has some knowledge of Romany and the alien language of Tamaran. He is also a brilliant and experienced strategist with superlative leadership skills, having served as leader to the Titans. Additionally, Dick's interpersonal skills and efforts to remain in contact with other heroes makes him a master at rallying, unifying, and inspiring the superhero community, a skill in which he has arguably surpassed his mentor.

His suit is made of a special material that, while appearing thin and skintight, is able to withstand a lot of damage, as well as being fireproof. His utility belt is full of various gadgets, including, bit not limited to: small rods that extend from both ends into a large staves, small throwing disks with various effects, smoke bombs, tracers, darts, etc.

Background

Before Dick was born, his parents were very good friends with Bruce Wayne, having met in college. However, in their third year at Princeton, for reasons none will speak of, Bruce, John, and Mary all dropped out and went their seperate ways.

John used his martial arts skills to become a top contender in various fighting tournaments, eventually being noticed by action movie director Kent Kyderburg. Around this time, Mary tracked him down and they spent a night together, but had another fight the next morning. She left, only to return a few weeks later with tears in her eyes. She was pregnant. With a baby on the way, they worked out their differences and were married a month later.

Thoughout the pregnancy, John worked on his first movie role, the title character Jack Pheonix, a kick-ass ex-marine turned mercenary. The Fall after Dick was born, Jack Pheonix: Bloodlust hit theaters. It was a success, spawning off two sequels, Jack Pheonix II: Countdown to Oblivion and Jack Phoenix III: Zero Hour.

Dick had a happy childhood, as most kids wished their fathers were big time movie stars. All was good in his life, but that soon began to change. When he was seven, Mary became sick with cancer. She fought for two years, only to lose her husband. John was attacked and killed on the set of Jack Pheonix IV by Tony Zucco, a mobster who wanted John to fight for him in rigged boxing matches, a proposition which John declined several times. Zucco grew angry and silenced him.

On her last breath with a young nine year old boy and a dead husband, Mary contacted Bruce Wayne for the first time in years, begging him to take custody of young Dick. He obliged, and a few weeks later, the boy lost his mother as well. The Grayson's fortune was placed in a bank for Dick when he reached adulthood, interest building on it every month.

While living with Bruce, Dick was given a private education by a group of highly recommended tutors, but he was too frustrated over his parents' demise to concentrate. To help him relieve stress, Bruce began teaching the boy various martial arts, soon realizing he would be a better fighter than his father some day. The relief helped him focus on his studies, and he excelled.

When Dick was eleven, he saw a news clip that showed Batman fighting the Joker. Instantly, he recognized the moves and put two and two together -- Bruce Wayne was Batman. He confronted his foster father with his realization, and begged to become his sidekick.

After months of constant rejections, Dick took it upon himself and became Robin. He kept showing up to help Batman, eventually forcing the caped crusader to accept him. From that point on, they were a team.

When Dick was fifteen, Barbara Gordon, Batgirl, joined them. He developed a relationship with her, which lasted almost a year. They lost their virginity to each other, and thought their happiness would last forever. They were sorely mistaken.

Things began to go downhill for all three of them when the Joker started getting more and more vicious in his crimes. Many died during this time, and Bruce was becoming ever more frustrated, the damn clown kept slipping through his fingers. Dick was growing angry with his mentor's darker demeanor, though Barb tried to understand both sides. This led to an argument between all three of them, and then, later that night, Dick caught Batman roughing up a street bum for answers, right in front of a family with several small children.

Dick demanded that he stop, stepping forward to pull his hand away. Batman turned and punched Robin, and that was that. Dick was sixteen now, so he got himself emancipated, got a hold of his parents' money, left the Robin suit shredded in his bedroom at the mansion, and vanished.

He surfaced in New York City, using his money to get an apartment and start an electronics store, Tech Corner. He became Nightwing and started fighting crime again, and over the next year, made himself known. He also expanded Tech Corner, moving to a much larger building and renaming it Tech Depot, also adding in a special team of computer support technicians called the Tech Brigade.

Shortly after Dick turned seventeen, the Brotherhood of Evil showed up in New York. He joined forces with other heroes and the Doom Patrol to fight them. Afterwards, some of them formed the Titans. It has now been two years since the team formed.

Cyborg
Real Name: Victor Silas Stone
Age: 20
Birthday: March 3rd
Occupation: Team member of the Titans

http://hallofheroes.free.fr/Images/UltimateDC/teentitans.jpg

NOTE: Just picture Vic's entire face covered with silver and the yellow eye outlines like with the one half. That is what he looks like with his exosuit on. He can connect with it wirelessly and all the pieces fit to him and connect as if by magic. Also, he keeps his head shaved instead of the dreadlocks in the pic

Powers

Vic's robotic skeleton gives him advanced strength, speed, and stamina, as well as near perfect senses. All of his internal organs are artificial, making him very healthy as well. When he is wearing his exosuit, he can manipulate energy from his power core to shoot blasts or fly, like Iron Man. His brain is like a living computer, able to process data at an alarming rate and interface with various systems.

Background

Vic grew up happy, the son of two genius inventors. He was a genius himself, though preferred sports, becoming the hero of his high school basketball team. He got so good, he was even offered a full scholarship to college and a possible NBA position after graduation. But things tend to be darkest in the light of total happiness.

They had a car crash, Vic's mother dying instantly and he himself being seriously wounded. Silas, his father, managed to escape severe harm, but was distraught over his son's deteriorating condition. So, doing what he must as a father, Silas kidnapped Vic from the hospital and put him into a coma that stabilized his condition temporarily.

With all his resources, Silas rebuilt his son, and when Vic reawakened, he was no longer entirely human -- he was a cyborg. He looked normal on the outside, but everything inside was artificial. Horrified, he left his father and went in search of some peace of mind. He found it when he was needed to fight the Brotherhood. He created an exosuit to enhance his new powers and hide his identity, and thus he became Cyborg. It has now been two years.

Raven
Real name: Refers to herself as Rachel Roth
Age: 19
Birthday: October 17th
Occupation: member of Titans

Bio:
Raven's life has always been hard, being the half-breed daughter of a human mother and Trigon. As she grew up, she was taught to "control her emotions" in order to suppress her inherited powers. Essentially, it was feared that if Raven was allowed to feel any strong emotion, she could become like her father and his legions of followers.

Over time, she became more and more aware of these people her mother warned her of, some of her father's followers even managing to search her out in hopes of her being "like the others". Her mother was quick to intervene on any of the attempts that left young Rachel confused and frightened, though the strange people were always on her mind. After numerous tries by the Church, she finally began to look into THEM instead, discovering the truth behind the mysterious people and their connection to her father.

In the past few months, Raven has learned that she truly has siblings, and how they are far different from herself- more the epitome of her father's ideal dark souls. Horrified at this, she has continued her fight with the Titans, now even more set on destroying her father's plans... even if it means destroying herself in the process.

Powers:
Empathy- the ability to absorb the feelings of others, as well as altering the feelings of others.

Healing- Raven can reduce the pain felt by others & also heal their wounds. What happens to the pain she takes from others is something she refuses to reveal to others, though does seem to become a bit more somber after doing so...

Astral Projection- Raven uses the mental ability for various purposes (meditation, easing others, or as a defense against attacks as a form of shield).

Psychokinesis- By bestowing part of her soul into an object, Raven can move objects with her will.

All of her powers hinge on her emotions, which she tries hard to keep at a stable 'monotone' level. The more an emotion overcomes her, the harder it is to control her abilities- as well as her connection with her father.
