Stryder's house of romance
All romantics are welcome. Is romance and sensuality still alive? Share your experiences, your ideas, your fantasies and above all else, have romantic fun.

upon your skin
the touch
of cool water
upon your face
The weight of a rose
in the palm of your hand
I will try to understand

What a nice idea Stryder. Welcome to Lit, there are many romantics here. Some flowers for the entry way. Enjoy Lit, Stryder.

Romance is dead?
Hmmmmmm, maybe I was wrong and romance is dead. Very quiet around this neighborhood anyway. Any romantics out there? Female or Male?

Female here........and romance is not dead.....as long as you keep it alive.......
The touch of the skin
the kisses he gives me
the looked in his eyes
the touch of his hand
The feeling of him deep in me
as the love making makes me on fire
The desire I feel for him
keeps me alive.
So no the romance never dies.

Welcome
Welcome Angel and very nice to see you, as always, Sienna.
Maybe romance isn't dead afterall. Please return often, you are always welcome. Bring your romantic experiences and ideas to share with others. Let's help each other become the ultimate romantics.
Other men said they have seen angels,
But I have seen thee
And thou art enough.

The time is always right for romance...

Question of the day
What is your favorite romantic kiss?
1 - Slow, gentle and sensuous.
2 - Passionate with tongue.
3 - Deep and Long.
4 - French Kissed.
5 - Unexpected kiss.
I have been astonished that men could die martyrs for their religion -
I have shudder'd at it.
I shudder no more.
I could be martyr'd for my religion
Love is my religion
And I could die for that.
I could die for you.

I have to agree Icey . That would be my favorite on most occasions, but for a guy (me anyway) the unexpected can be glorious.

Ok... mine has to be a combination of 2 & 3... a prolonged passionate kiss leading to a really deep and long one... coming up for air eventually... now that kind of kiss does make me tingle all over...

The Romantic Kiss
Well now, we have investigated the romantic kiss and have found that it ranges from the slow, soft, sensuous kiss to the knee buckling deep, long kiss. I am the only one who found the unexpected kiss to be rather exciting. Wonder if that says something about me. I will have to think about that.
Ok, how about the place? Where is the most romantic place for that most romantic kiss? Is it a private kiss, or public?
Personally it is always a private kiss, although the excitement of getting caught adds to the pleasure. Therefore my place is a mostly isolated beach, at sunset, on a blanket, with a bottle of wine, mmmmmmmm.
Well, how about you? Share your experiences or fantasies.
"At the first kiss I felt something melt inside me that hurt in an exquisite way. All my longings, all my dreams and sweet anguish, All the secrets that slept deep within me came awake, Everything was transformed and enchanted, everything made sense."

I've been thinking a lot about the word romance lately (because of this thread) and the actions that are romantic to each of us. Sometimes it is a big gesture, other times it is a small one. A smile, a phrase the two share, a look, a touch.
I received one such expression of romance in an email - yes, even emails can be romantic I believe. Isn't romance everything that touches your heart?
As for those kisses, I love the unexpected kiss that is long, sensual, deep, passionate, slow and gentle. (Did I get them all in!!). I also love private kisses, they can express so much more to me, but certainly wouldn't turn away a lovely kiss in a crowded place.

Oh yes!... e-mails are a fantastic way to be romantic on-line.
Some of my inspirations to write comes from romantic ideas expressed in e-mails. I love recieving romantic poetry...it so brightens up my day, especially from a lover...
