Is a clear sign of his respect for constitutional law and his own political leanings. By alligning himself with the likes of Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Rafael Correa, Daniel Ortega, and of course the ousted Manuel Zelaya, that he is supportive of totalitarian governments as long as they are Communist/Socialist inspired. (The operative word is totalitarian.)

The military of Honduras acted in accordance with rulings handed down by the Honduran Supreme Court which, by any reading, ruled in favor of the constitution of that nation. The military will, barring military intervention by a foriegn power, be in accordance with that ruling unless they fail to relinguish power after new elections.

Obama and his administration have made the possibility of military intervention by a foriegn power a very real possibility because of their unwise and utterly naive utterances. Chavez, who has been itching to try out his new military toys for a while now, is the most likely source of said invasion of Honduras, and an invasion it would most certainly be in that Honduras and Venezuela DO NOT share a common border.

Regardless, Obama has most clearly signaled his respect for constitutional law and his own political preferences.

When it comes to foriegn policy he's weak, naive, and ineffectual. So far all he's managed to do is piss off our allies and embolden our enemies. He's trying to treat the rest of the world as if they're the same as the poor ignorant fools in the Chicago ghetto that he arose from.

Of course President Obama and his administration side with Zelaya. With his appointments of "Czars" he seeks to do an end-run around the congressional advise and consent function for cabinet members; he only sends them figureheads and because they are all socialists and their only morality is the ends, not the means, the Democrat Congress is letting him "rewrite" the Constitution which he in no way, shape, or form holds dear to is heart.

I'm starting to believe he was born in Kenya.

Or wishes he was...

Stealing elections by making up vote totals wasn't something that worried Obama...it probably seemed like business as usual at some level.

But a democratically elected president forcibly removed from office for no reason other than illegally defying the country's attorney general, supreme court and constitution probably hit too close to home. If the president can't be above the law, then how can he expect his czars to be?

I wonder of this is going to affect the price of my Macanudos.

What does he know of American values? He was raised and educated by Marxists in the newest state, isolated out in the ocean, and in Indonesia and matriculated politically in one of the most corrupt cities in the Nation.

He's here to finalize the soft tyranny of Alinksy's revolution.

What keeps tickling the back of my mind is why those cabinet members are allowing themselves to be used in that manner?

You think it's easy for admitted tax cheats to find good jobs in this economy?

I just finished the first of the two chapters in Hayek where he outlines the mechanism of how this happens; in a socialism, it's important to think with the group, which leads to Orwell's (my words here) double-think and allows evil to triumph as you get deeper down Alice's bunny-hole...

They don't see themselves as being used, they see themselves as advancing the cause and they see Obama as the necessary vehicle to advance their goals.

If he bends a few rules, well it was needed to achieve the greater good.

Situational morality in a system where the group outcome is the paragon of thought.

Remember what they said at the time, ignore the small mistake, he was simply the best, maybe only, qualified guy for the post.

Like Sotomayor, a perfect example of an outcome-oriented judge who would replace objective law with subjective law forcing the citizen to be more in tune with the thoughts of the group than morality or law.

Obama claiming Zelaya is still president requires some consistencies:

Castro's violent coup was illegal and Batista remained president.
Ortega's violent coup was illegal and Somoza remained president.
Akmadinijad's violent coup was illegal and the Shah remained Iran's leader.
Washington's violent coup was illegal and Queen Elizabeth is still monarch.

He's only condemning military coups because he's scared shitless it'll happen to him.

Non sequitur for those unable to keep up with the conversation or lack the ability to add something constructive.

YOU lecturing someone on non sequitur?

Lit's irony meter just a-sploded!!!!

Carry on with your whining, m'boy:

"Obama can do no right! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah"
