I know the true answer is anything that the Dominant wants their submissive to wear:rose:.
BUT what is sexy to a Dominant? What do Dominants like to see their submissives wear? A bra and panty set? Corsets? Stockings? Is there any good and cheap (times are hard!) sites to get the submissive look?

That depends on the dominant, just like anything else.

K and I aren't really into fetish gear, but he thinks my thigh highs are really sexy.
 
Easy answer is whatever I damn well please.

Tricky part is making sure my personal tastes re: fashion align with whomever I'm involved with.

mmmmm...well its the act that's important really, not so much the clothing..

But that said, guys are very visual in a way that women really find it har to understand sometimes. I would have to say that I dont like the cliches...but some guys are really into that...
Its nice to be able to compromise so that you can feel sexy as hell in something you admire as well as him...
I like clothing that is a little more burlesque... Great shoes and stockings are a really good start, textures are sexy

Well of course every Dom is different. But the cliches are sometimes cliches because there is some common agreement by men that they are appealing.

A good sub wears what she's told, though. Whether it's a whim, or whatever. Because she wants to please, doesn't she?
 
Its true, a good sub wears what they are told.

However it doesnt hurt to do a little research into what your Dom likes, just ask some questions and communicate.

Corsets, boots, stockings can all be picked up at a resonable price at factory outlet stores.
 
Then again, I am partial to a simple soft cotton shirt or blouse with buttons, and a short skirt. Don't ask why. Or then again, do, if you want ;)

It is a rare thing for a Dominant to lose all control, if it happens at all it would probably only happen when the Dominant is alone, secluded from others. Dominants are all about control. If you are attempting to lure a Dominant into losing all control by just looking at are wearing, you will most likely fail. Not only that but it is a type of manipulation on your part, an attempt to top from the bottom.

If you just want to please and tease him and you want to use sexy clothes and outfits to turn him on then go for it. But don't expect a Dominant to loose all control and go ga ga over you just because he is turned on by what you are weraring.
My answer- nothing, Most of the Dominants I have talked to want their submissives or slaves completely naked. To some getting to wear clothes is a reward.
 
I would disagree that it's a "rare thing" for a dominant sort to lose all control - people are people (equally capable of losing control); identifying as a dominant doesn't magically change that...

However, I do agree that trying to tempt a dominant lover into exploding into a fireball of passion by assuming you'd dress in such a manner to cause the volcano... easily backfire-able.
 
I prefer mine in suits or business attire. There's no amusement in stripping the stripped.

To please my top I wear lingerie, but it goes under dresses or skirts of normal appearance. In the same vein. "The submissive look" for me is completely the same as "the Dominant look." I am only interested in as much exposure as he is interested in exposing me. I don't need to advertise my availability to anyone but him.

I don't get to be in a public setting much with him, but if I were to do that, I would probably present the way I usually do as Dominant. My behavior is what would be different.

I wonder if that's really what was meant. But even as a figure of speech... every Dom is different. No outfit will always have the same response twice, nor will nakedness, in my opinion
 
yes the sub's behaviour is much more to the point than her attire. If I want her attire changed, I'll change it.

Something cheap

Stand under the shower till you're all wet and then go plop down the bed with a pout.

Another idea, buy a net and wear that.

My sister says nothing gets her hubby as hot as a button down nightgown and a pair of pretty cotton panties.

He called it 'wrapping paper'. LOL

Yes, I do tend to generalize when I shouldn't. Of course they are capable of losing control and yes they are people. I'm sorry, let me try and clarify. I have never heard of a Dominant losing control all over his/her submissive. Dominant personalities usually keep a tight leash on those kinds of emotions. They don't like to lose control in the presence of a submissive, so they will do everything in their power not to lose control. That would make them vulnerable and Dominants do not like being vulnerable.
 
Being a Dom only affects when and where I get what I like, not what I actually like.

I like what I like. Dom or not.
 
My husband wants jeans and t-shirts. Oh and leotards at one point. Another friend always wanted a shirt he could untie, skirts he could lift and boots I could leave on. I also bought pink panties for an online friend. :) (Pink is not a color I normally choose.) It depends on the dom. Each one is unique.

As far as attracting someone's interest. Be your best self without pretense. Find clothes you feel comfortable in and that look good on your body. You are unique, too.
 
You really can't go wrong with stockings, suspenders, a corset or sexy bra/knickers set, a dress with a bit of slink and some heels. If you shop around you can pick things up very cheaply as stores are fighting to attract shoppers these days.

Irritatingly, Master is quite fussy about lingerie and I've given up on buying anything that doesn't have his approval. We've never been into leather or latex but he does like corsets and basques.

Generally speaking though, he likes my rock/hippy/emo daytime style and would be horrified if I suddenly started dressing like a girly girl. It really is a case of strokes for folks.

This is excellent advice. If you don't think you look hot, chances are your dom won't go for the look either. How you wear things is as important as what you wear. Having said that, being made to wear things you find ridiculous or unflattering can be good for humiliation play.
 
I actually follow the assumed slave attire: collar and that's it. When I'm feeling frisky I'll add cuffs, maybe a long leash that I can hook as a belt and then attach to the collar. When I'm feeling lazy I don't even wear the collar.

I just do not feel comfortable in clothes. I'd rather live my life nude as often as I can. Jounar, fortunately, loves this idea. and apart from adding clothes pegs, he doesn't stray a lot from my chosen attire.

I had a guy once who loved sluttly undergarments. He got a thrill out of making my stockings run from being hit with a crop. I stopped putting the new ones on for him. :rolleyes:

Most guys dig my corsets, but for the most part the consensus is "naked chick=good thing"

I am a sucker for one of my button down shirts... and nothing else.

I also have a fantasy about a leather loin cloth and bra...

but that is just me.
 
You might as well ask what 'men/women' like 'men/women' to wear. It's an entirely individualized affair.

Adakgirl's right inasmuch as there's nothing out there clothing-wise that's going to drive me over the edge of losing control. But there are certain outfits that do bring on strong surges of libido, to be sure.

My own tastes? I like slutty, trampy, and streetwalker-ish, primarily. Garters and stockings definitely a must when I'm in that mood.

Otherwise, it is purely a function of mood. The only costume I go in for is French maid, always a winner for me. Something tearable like one of my old t-shirts does nicely, if I'm feeling particularly aggressive. Also, oversized t-shirts of the 3X variety can be pre-torn in interesting ways to create good scenario-wear.

I'm with Netzach about not favoring the naked. Nudity is something that I prefer to work up to, not take for granted.
