Tattoo you!

Wow. I really like that.

It must have taken a while. You ARE brave for not crying.

that looks so lovely you look really good with it

thanks... I nearly passed out on the middle bits!

it was about 90 mins I think... the shading and colour will be another 6 hours, but he promised it wouldn't hurt as much!

I'll do a photo update as it goes along :D

Six hours? Bloody hell!

I'll be interested to see the updates. A friend of mine has something similar, but she never ended up bothering to have it finished.

well three hours for the black and grey shading and then three for the colour. He thinks I'll like it just black and grey though... I think I was colours, but I can hang fire. I'm totally stoked dude! (said in a Kat Von D voice)

it will look stunning when its done, well worth the money

hope so. I've wanted a big back piece since i was 18 and could never decide on a design. Now over 25 years later, I have my design and fuck what others say, it's here!

90 minutes is just when you start to get endorphins going usually, and the pain starts to subside... try doing 2 hours next time, I bet you'll find that you can take it.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

You're a painted lady!

Once you colour inside the lines it will be mint ;)

it will be mostly black and grey.

Ha! I thought about you as he was doing it. I'm not sure I could have taken much more, though he did a patch on my spine with the shader and it didn't actually hurt much at all.

Nice......
Very fucking brave for not crying, and although i have 6 tats....I will never be brave enough to have one on my side.....I take my hat off to you...:)

heh... well it's my first proper one, so I had very little concept of how painful it would actually be!

Cool, anything else should be a walk in the park for you then.....congrats, I look forward to seeing how it progresses...

That's so dope. Just the kind I like, too, artistically designed, something flowing that moves around and compliments the shape of your body.

Did you design it out or did you select something pre-drawn out of a portfolio? And is the next one around your pussy? ;)

I briefly dated a woman who had plum blossoms across her whole back and onto her front torso, and two sparrows on her shoulders

It was one of the most feminine tattoos I've ever seen. Very minimal. Just 3 or 4 colors.

I loved the way that it curved around her body.

he just drew it freehand. I told him I wanted japanese style flowers falling through water. I said to start it with a crysanthemum on my shoulder. "That's a Peony!"

"No, it's a 'mum, THAT's a peony" Points to the next flower down... anyway... I like it as it is. I'm looking forward to seeing the water in it (that's what all the gaps on the flowers are about)
If those flowers were a little lower, it would seem as if they were reaching for you butt, nice pattern, brave one.

apparently the arse is a VERY painful place to be tattoed. He said it's like getting lots of sharp stinging slaps. I did my best not to smirk :D

Totally Hot!

I won't even deduct bravery points for passing out.

but I DIDN'T pass out! felt like it though...

Wow - that is awesome! It hurts the most right at the spine doesn't it? ouch! I want one!!!
