Yuyuhakushu Another Chance

Not a continuation of the original series but what if someone other person was chosen as spirit detective. There are a few rules one it happens in japan so most people will be Japanese one in four can be an exchanged student. I am the new spirit detective but we will need other gifted human and demons. Third no carbon copies I don’t want a hundred people ripping of the cast of the series.

No god moding that is you can be hurt but not killed without you’re permission, only people with killed characters can create a second character. No god moding that is you will not always hit what you try to. Be original and creative and write at least a paragraph in each post.

Personality: Sakura is full of herself excelling in academics and sports she thinks no one can match her. She is smart and cruel picking on newer students to make up for the fact that she has no friends.
Skills: Sakuara is on the track, swim and fencing team to mention a few giving her both speed and endurance to burn. Her eyes are almost as sharp as her tongue and mind making her trouble for more then one person or demon.
Weakness: Sakura has an ego the size of a small building meaning she is easy to anger and slow to calm. She is also not that strong that is while fast she can not hit nearly as hard as a male student of the same size.
History: Sakura is from a small farming village were she lived with her widowed mother until she remarried. Her mother latter became ill and died leaving her with her workaholic father who traveled a great deal. She excelled in school joining many activities to stay away from an empty home. She has few friends and mainly focuses on school to the detriment of all things including her personal life. her only strength is her love for animals which she keeps secret lest some enemy se it against her.

History: Mireille was a good girl who loved everything however her parents died leaving her in an orphanage. She knew she had a brother but she never talked to him or developed a certain relationship.She has no friends and never had the chance to learn how to make friends. She was born a demon but her body was that of a human so they sent her to Tokyo.Her grades excelled so high she was automatically accepted into Tokyo University however her outside activities were to be improved.

weakness- he isn't that good in fencing class and is ussually defeated raither easily he can block most attacks but he never get points for his attacks , he is easy at making enemies because he keeps to himself
history- he is a transfer student from a college in new york city he is half japanese so many students teased him because of that. During college he got the chance to be an exchanged student to tokyo university so he takes it. he lived with his older brother (older step Borther) who thought of him a pain. But it was there parents wosh if they died he would raise him if. But when his older brother got drunk or if he upset him he woud get beaten on even his brothers friends would join in because they where bored. thus he began to go to martial arts classes so he would be out of his brother's way. when his brothers and his friends decided to beat onhim again he fought back and after that they never really picked on him just made fun of him and called him names. when he told him he was going to be an exchange student his brother didn't care at all. he just wished he well and good luck

Personality: Mamoru is very well grounded for an electric demon. He plays cool and calm better then most but it is merely an illusion, under it he faces the passionate and quick changing emotions his kind is blighted with. However unlike most of his kind, he is curious.
Skills: Well he can produce a great deal of electricity, but it seldom comes up. His main job is teaching English. Beyond that he plays a lot of darts, is skilled with wire, and knows the basics of fencing.
Weakness: People notice a 6'2" bald white guy, especially in Japan. Beyond that he never learned to properly direct lighting and requires the use of objects to direct it.

History: Mamoru was one of three brothers, all born at the same time. He spent roughly 150 years in demon world before growing tired of the constant shifting of power and politics and fleeing to America. Once there he spent close to 10 years as a farm hand before moving east at which point he became acquainted with city life spending time in New York. He then world power of the time Britain before moving on into Ireland. He then returned to a very different USA as an Irish immigrant, this time he made his way west across the country.
By 1939 the world went to war and Mamoru adopted the persona of Garret Smith and worked in a munitions plant. But was frequently hounded about the war. In 1946 he moved to an occupied Japan. He periodically switch locations and back stories but recently became Garret Smith again and gained a job at the local university teaching English to humans. He has done so for five years now and do to a strange series of events became the Fencing instructor.

Its hard to make a plausible 150 year history, but it is now there in cyber space and with some luck believable.

So we had a little organization flop. Sad to say my character was just starting English when the fencing post happened. According to back story he is also the fencing coach so suddenly I had to skip ahead. Then we went from the start of fencing to the end of it in one post. Lets try and avoid time skips like this.

Oh and is spirit knowledge common knowledge? That is to say, do most people know one can hit people at a distance spiritually or that one can sense a persons spirit power?

Mitsu is it public knowledge your character is a demon or is she a "closet" demon like mine?

"Closet" demon no one knows unless you are a demon you could smell her blood

so should i post my character in fencing class or just keep him in the english class

If you wish to make an english class post start with it otherwise skip it. Fencing is much the same but perhaps an introduction to fencing "class" would be important.

Hey do we have a basic plot outline we wish to fallow? I am also willing to join any schemes any one wants to suggest to me.
