The emergency room was in a rush as they wheeled Jack in, "what do we have" said one of the doctors "23 year old male, involved in a 10 car pile up, suffering massive head trauma," replied one of the EMTs. It took the doctors and nurse over an hour to stabilize Jack's vitals as they continued to drop, for a moment Jack's eyes opened seeing a beautiful figure all while hearing a soothing as he the blacked out.

Dream when the day is through
Dream, and they might come true
Things never are as bad as they seem
So dream, dream, dream
Dream
So dream, dream, dream....

Jack was put in a room as soon as his vital became normal, his body hooked up into respirator in a coma. A doctor came in looking at his chart "All we can do now is see if you wake up" he said. Jack eyes began to open wincing at the sunlight in the sky, as he stood up he noticed he was lying on a large flat rock surrounded by trees, "where am I?" he asked himself as he began to walk around wearing the clothes he left home with, black sneakers, denim jeans, black buttoned shirt untucked. Something was missing though, his guitar, it was missing, it was an acoustic with a beautiful ebony finish. Suddenly there it was lying next to the rocks, however something seemed different about it. Jack thought nothing of it as he grabbed the guitar and put it behind him using the strap. He then began to walk away toward what sounded like a waterfall hoping to see someone who could tell him where he was.

(( I need one girl to play two parts, one in the real world, and one in Jack's dream, both looking the same as one another. The real one could perhaps be his nurse or whoever you'd who takes care of him, and perhaps begin to learn about him. I guess you could describe this story a bit like the wizard of oz with music revolving around the dream world. If you're interested or have any questions please PM me, I'd really like to this RP))

((update:I think I wasn't too specific the last time, this is open to one girl to play two parts, one in the real world and the second in the dream world.))

((still open to one girl))

Jack walked over to the sound, pushing the various branches as he made his way though. He froze as he admiring the beautiful waterfall up high, coming into the large river that he was a few feet away from surround by perfectly cut grass. Jack couldn't help but sit down and sighed, it was one thing to be lost, but it another to be alone, as he had yet to see a single person. Jack just took his guitar and began to play quietly.

Kara, who was still fairly new to the hospital, sat at the nurses station reading over the lists of patient prescriptions doctors needed filled for the day. She had been working here a few months now and often felt inferior to the many doctors that surrounded her. She had gone to medical school with hopes of becoming a surgeon. However, the pressure had been too much for. Night after night, it was the same thing. Studying and memorization, case studies, exam after exam. When she had gotten to the point of barely sleeping and being near tears constantly, she knew she had to find another path.

She was sure she wanted to help people in some capacity, and with a background already in medicine, she'd decided to become a nurse. When people learned of the switch, most were understanding and said she'd done the right thing for herself. Others who weren't so sensitive, would tease her about it. Doctors, most of whom were already arrogant and thought little of nurses were the worst. Especially if they found out she'd cracked in med school. She hated hearing how she couldn't 'cut' it. It was a terrible pun and one that hurt her feelings. Even so, she was determined to not let it drive her away.

She realized that nursing was better in a way. She got to spend more time caring for patients and didn't have to deal with the complicated politics that came along with being a doctor. She hated to admit to herself how common place it was becoming to deal with death. It was never easy, though. Every life lost was like a slice to her heart, but the words to ease a suffering family were almost second nature to her. She hoped that didn't mean she'd end up cold or insensitive. Burn out was probably inevitable though. Many of the older nurses had lost their early spark for the job and only did what was required of them. Few were like her and went beyond her duties to help the patients.

For a moment she looked up and her green eyes focused absent mindedly on a male patients room down the hall. She had only recently been assigned to his care, but something about him intrigued her. And she just couldn't put a finger on it. She'd dealt with coma patients before but this time, something was different.

It wasn't long until Jack got bored of just sitting by the waterfall. He knew that he had to find a way home and just sitting there playing his guitar wasn't going to help. He stood up and began to enter the forest once more, feeling lost until he heard someone talking. Jack followed the voice until he saw who it was, it was two men stand where he woken up from. They looked like they were guards or knight or something, Jack didn't know. "Where is it, it could have just walked away" said the tall, skinny man "It should be here, I....." said the large man as he saw Jack "you!" he said looking him.

Jack came up to the two a bit afraid as he looked at them "Where did you get that" asked the large man pointing at Jack's guitar "it's mine, I've always had it". Both men looked at each other and then at Jack "that is a sacred relic of this village, you will return it to us". Jack was puzzled 'sacred?' he thought, he had this guitar since he was 15, however the men seemed serious and had weapon by the look at their waist, Jack played along as he handed the guitar to the tall man. As handed it him something odd happened, The man fell over as if the guitar weighed a ton, the large man then tried to picked it but to no avail. The looked at Jack angrily "what did you do?" they asked, "nothing I..." said Jack not knowing what to say.

She could hear raised voiced beyond the grouping of trees in which she was picking apples. Carefully, the young wman set her armful of apples onto the grass so that they would not tumble all over the ground. She jogged swiftly, following the sounds through the trees until she reached the edge of the tree line. She saw three men standing a short distance away. They didn't appear to have drawn weapns so she felt safe in approaching.

She arrived just behind one of the guards and smiled. "You must be mistaken. That object certainly looks like the sacred relic, but doesn't it have some differences?"

Her hair was long, deep brown and straight. Her lovely. oval face held sparkling green eyes and pink lips curved into a kind smile. Her attire was a simple white dress and plain snadles.

She gave a quick wink to the oddly dressed stranger, letting him knw she was trying to help him stay out of trouble.

Jack looked as a young women came along, while she was very pretty, it was the last thing on his mind as of now. As she spoke and winked at him, he nodded slightly hoping she could be of some. The large looked over at her an then the guitar and then at the tall guard "well I suppose there are some differences, the relic was made of stone, and could not have taken by someone like him" Jack had a look on his face if saying 'what's wrong with me?', both guards looked at each other and then back at Jack, Jack just looked at the girl once more. "Take your...instrument and leave" said the tall guard as he was about to hand Jack the guitar, but remembering that he couldn't pick it up "well go one" Jack took his guitar as he put it behind him "let's report back said the large guard as the left Jack and the woman. Jack walked up to the girl looking up and down her body as he then locked on to her green eyes, "Thanks for getting off my back" he said stammering a bit "my name's Jack".

"You just didn't seem like the type to cause trouble," she confided, and looked at his strange clothing again. It was obvious to him she found his attire odd, but she was polite enough not to mention it. "Sometimes they get bored and just bother people."

She nodded and smiled as he introduced himself. "Hello, Jack. I'm Krystal," she told him as their eyes met. Somehow she knew right away there was something different about him. His clothing made that obvious. She had never seen anyone dress like him.

"Where are you from?" she asked with high curiosity in her tone.

"I'm from Texas" he said as he looked at Krystal and then at the sky "but I'm pretty sure I'm far from there, I don't even know how I got here, or what here even is". Everywhere he looked trees, and more trees, "I remember getting on the bus and then the next thing I know I wake up here", he let out a sigh as he looked over back at Krystal, hoping she didn't think he was crazy, he had to admit though she was very cute, if only he met her on better terms, he needed to find somewhere to get his bearings and figure this all out "Is there a town near by" he asked Krystal "I should really find a place to rest for now".
