Isabella Swan, who was commonly referred to as Bella had recently been accepted to Princeton. This shocked her to no end, because even though she wasn’t exactly and idiot, she didn’t think she was Princeton material. Also, it had been hard enough for her to make friends when she had come down to Forks, Washington to live with her father.

Okay, maybe not so much as hard for her to make friends but to make friends that she actually enjoyed being around. Two years ago, she had moved to Forks, Washington to live with her father after her mother got remarried. It had been a slow, boring two years in the rain….she hated the rain. Of course, that was to be expected from someone who had resided in Phoenix for most of her life.

Now, here she was in New Jersey taking a tour of the school before she settled into her dorms. The Cullens crossed her mind as she started to fade from the conversation of the cafeteria and the library. She had never really been friends with any of them except for Alice. Her and Alice had had classes together along with her and Edward, who she dated for a year and then he dumped her. She wondered what had happened to them, they disappeared during her second year of highschool.

“And now, all of you should fill out this form. Basically, its asking what your pet peeves are etc. Just so your roommates can get to know you a bit better.” The R.A said, then handed everyone a sheet. Bella wasn't really in the mood to socialize so instead of looking around the room for her roommate she sat there and filled out the paper.

“And now, all of you should fill out this form. Basically, its asking what your pet peeves are etc. Just so your roommates can get to know you a bit better.”

Renesmee groaned as she started filling out the forms. Sometimes it really irked her the whole first day routine. 'Grab an index card, type your name, address, phone number, email, birthday...' and so on and so forth for more than 6 years really does get annoying sometimes. As she wrote, she played with her long, dark hair, happy that she had decided to dress comfortably in a pair of jeans, t-shirt and tennis shoes for today, as it was hot outside. Finishing up, she walked to the lists with the room assignments and looked up hers. Number 249. Sighing to herself, she wondered who could be her roommate and if they would get along as she leaned against a table and looked out the window into the sunny sky.

Taylor grinned as she was handed the form. 'Get to know you a bit better', Hah! Taylor didn't exactly need a card for this. It wasn't hard for people to get to know her, if they wanted to that was. She looked around and could easily guess who she would be able to get along with. The short girl who liked like a pixie was hard to get a figure on. It was weird. She shook her head and moved on to the next person, a medium height brown haired girl. Yes, she'd get along very well with her, no doubt. A sharp intake of breath next to her caused her attention to waver. She looked to see who had made the noise but their was no one there. She finished filling out her form and handed it in. Then, she walked up to the brown haired girl, Isabella Swan, she could see on her form. She noticed the room number. Of course, her new roomie. "Bella?" she said sweetly, debating with herself over whether to use Isabella or Bella. "I'm Taylor, your new roomie" she smiled.

Bella heard her name, not the name most people used for her unless she demanded it, which was always. She looked up from her sheet of paper which she was halfway finished with. "Oh, hello." She said to the girl who introduced herself as Taylor.

"It's nice to meet you." Bella looked down at her paper for a brief second which said major. "So, do you know what your major is yet? I'm still debating on what to choose, excluding law. Theres no way i could handle being a lawyer. I suck at lying."

Taylor smiled again "I'm leaning towards phsycology. I'm pretty good with people, so it's a simple thing for me" she admitted, not bragging but not downplaying it either. "And I know what you mean. I can lie but I wouldn't want to do that for a living." Deep down she wanted to roll her eyes and yell at Bella for such a stereotypic statement, but she kept her face straight. Hell, it wasn't like she could read her mind. "You can always fill that out later anyways, what are they gonna do? Hunt you down until you tell them your major?" she joked.

Edward sighed to himself as he sat in the parking lot of the college. He looked out toward the main buildings and shook his head. It was time to go through College AGAIN, a dreary miserable experience. Worse, he had tried to pick a school Bella would never go too, and lo and behold, she was here.

The fates wanted to them to always be near each other. The girl was too much to deal with, she contained within her to much passion, her body oozed desire. He had to get away from her before he lost control over everything that made him Edward Cullen.

Alice appeared out of nowhere, next to Edwards car. "Cheer up" she said happily. She'd been avoiding thinking about Bella's acceptance to Princeton ever since she found out about it and it was taking every ounce of control she had. "What major are you planning to go for this time?" she asked, as if she didn't already know.

Bella stared at the brash girl. "I guess you're right." She put down, undecided. So far, she didn't see anything wrong about this girl. She didn't seem like she was an other worldly creature, like Alice or a completely vain girl like Jessica which was a total relief. In fact, she kind of reminded Bella of Angela, except...more talkative.

"So, was this your first choice college?" Bella asked.

Bella had originally been planning to go to a college in Hawaii after Edward disappeared, then her dad talked her into applying for Princeton.

EDward groaned and rolled his eyes. "I'm not into College this time. I picked law again." He put his arm around Alice's waist, having her body against his made him feel more at ease lately. He loved her, he wished he could have her the way he wanted to have her. He wanted to make love to her, make her orgasm for him all night long. Shower with her while she pants his name over and over. The thoughts alone made him smile.

"Kind of" Taylor said "I actually wanted to go to Vanderbilt but I got a full ride scholarship here so..." she shrugged "I'd have to be pretty snobby to turn that down" she said, biting her lip. "Was this yours?" she asked, pretty sure she already knew that the answer would be no.

"No...my dad made me apply for this. You know how dads are...you see, my boyfriend dumped me and left Washington, where I lived. So I guess I went on a downward spiral or something..." Flashes of how she used to be after Edward left, entered her mind.

"So, my dad and I both agreed that it would be good that I left Forks. I really think it was because, if my ex ever returned...he didn't want the same thing to happen to me. Anyways, I wanted to apply to a college in Hawaii...but my dad didn't want me to go so far. So here I am."

"Maybe it will be different" Alice said, teasingly, like 'I know something you don't'. She pulled him towards the campus, trying as hard as she could to not think of Bella. Instead, she decided to focus on the same thing she'd been focusing on for a while. Emmett. She couldn't help it. He was taller than her by about two whole feet, yet something about him drew her in. She looked around and sighed.

"Yeah" Taylor said, nodding "Dad's can be pretty annoying. Mine wanted me to go to NYC because he went there" she rolled her eyes. "But, oh well" she didn't question Bella about her choice, as most would have. She knew Bella didn't really want her to delve deeper into the subject.

Looking away from the nice afternoon outside, she looked around the room and found herself wishing her roommate would show. Deciding that, in the mean time she should make some friends, she walked to a couple of girls that had been talking for a while. "Um excuse me? Are any of you close to room 249\? I'm looking for my roommate." she asked as she checked her paper to make sure she got the number right.

Bella smiled at Taylors comment then turned to the girl who had just approached them. "Actually, thats right next to our room. What's your name? I'm Bella, and this is Taylor." Bella had had some doubts about coming to college and thought she should probably return to Phoenix or something...well, initially she was going to try and find some way for Edward to....

Her thoughts trailed off. She would NOT think about him. She told herself.

Renesmee smiled at the girl "That's great. My name's Renesmee. Feel free to give me a nickname" she said with a chuckle as she turned to smile at Taylor. From the corner of her eye, she noticed Bella's face fall a little. Thinking about cheering her up she thought of the games she brought with her "Hey if you guys dont have anything to do tonight, I was thinking of having a slumber party." she said smiling kindly at Bella, hoping she'd feel better.

Taylor looked up "I'm Taylor" she offered up the information, knowing that pretty soon her name would start sounding like a really weird word, you know, how when you say a word to many times its sounds... weird. "And that's fine with me, but you should probably find out who your roomate is and check with her" she suggested, not wanted to piss anyone off just yet.

Edward pushed away from Alice to walk up to the girls as they got to know each other. "Did someone say slumber party?" He asked with a smile, moving up behind Bella. "Hello Bella. Who are your new friends?"

A slumber party? Bella wasn't really one for slumber parties...or anything that was exceedingly girly. Plus, wasn't a slumber party so....5th grade. She felt guilt rush over her. She didn't want to hurt Reneesme's feelings by rejecting her either.

"Sure! It sounds great." Bella said, returning the smile.

Hopefully, this would be another way not to think of him

"Did someone say slumber party?" He asked with a smile, moving up behind Bella. "Hello Bella. Who are your new friends?"

Bella jumped at the sound. She was imagining things again, wasn't she? He probably wasn't even there behind her and her new friends would look at her like she was crazy. Slowly, Bella turned around praying that it was Jacob or something. It wasn't.

"E-edward...what are you doing here?" Her breath was caught by just his beauty alone.

Taylor turned at the voice. Her eyes widened slightly 'Holy fuck' she thought. She looked at Bella's face and figured out easily who he was. The ex. She was confused though. Bella had made it seem like he hated her and he was acting very friendly.
-------------
Alice rushed to keep up with Edward. She smiled and practically jumped on Bella, giving her a hug. "Bella" she said happily. She hadn't seen Bella in a while. And here she was.

Edward smiled. "Hello Bella. I'm here for my seventh college education." He teased, his eyes flickered to Taylor and he quickly changed his sentence. "Uh, I mean, seven year college education. Can't be lawyer without an education." He grined.

"Figures you'd be a liar..I mean, lawyer." Bella said, her eyes narrowing at the oh so sexy vampire before her while implying that he'd lied to her. She smiled as Alice came rushing towards her to embrace her in a hug. "Oh, Alice! I missed you."

"Where are the others?" This always seemed to happen, whenever she was around the cullens she forgot about the people around her. This included her new friends. "Oh, um this is Taylor and Reneesme." Bella said.

Rene was just about to ask Bella if she was ok when she heard a male voice from behind her new fried. Looking up she watched as he walked towards them. He was, well, gorgeous. Looking at Bella's reactions made her sort of weary of him. Choosing to keep quiet for the moment, she observed, hoping Bella would be ok.

Taylor made a face. 'Seventh college education? What the hell did he mean by that?' She let it go but continued to eye him, warily. "You must be Edward... her ex?" Taylor asked, cautiously. Truthfully, she did hope the answer would be no, because then he wouldn't be off-limits.
