Me and a couple of others decided to do a Next Generation off of the RP we had started (but sadly never finished). The link of the thread that started it all is below:

Rules? There are no rules.
Anyone who wants to join can join and people of the previous thread are not obligated to pick back up their characters, less they wish to.
I, of course, will pick Beast Girl and Eddie, since they are mine. I will not put up their bio since they are located inside of that thread.
You can also make up your own characters as well, if you think you can't come up with one.
There will be cameos, special appearances of the other Titans (less one wishes to have them come in more frequently and have them more so involved).
Keep in mind of the previous thread, this is a gender bender, a AU RP. That is all I ask.

Jump City is a place where one can live a happy and wholesome life under the careful watch of Titans Tower. Yes, Titans Tower, where the apprentices of the ever patriotic Justice League of America make their home. There’s Robyn, a gal trained by the mysterious Batwoman of Gotham. She’s a sharp girl worthy of being called leader. Cyber, a female cyborg that uses her technical know how to keep this city safe. Beast Girl, with the ability to change into any animal she wishes when dealing with a fiendish foe. Revan, a mysterious cloaked figure. And last, but certainly not least, Sunfire, an alien from another planet that sees all of us Earthlings as his friends. Come to Jump City and live without fear.

…At least, that’s how it once was, sort of. It’s been decades since the titans have disbanded and Jump City has fallen to the corrupt. Now the few denizens that walk the straight and narrow live in constant terror of the villains that control the city. The government has tried to stop it, but all have died in the process. So now Jump City stands alone, a city of sin and chaos. Heroics of any sort have been outlawed there and anarchy runs rampant in the streets.

Now the superheroes that once called themselves titans have placed their hopes in their children. The next generation will be sent to infiltrate the scum of Jump City and pull apart this system of injustice from the inside.



Vague summary: In a city that is now controlled and inhabited by villains and where heroes are outlawed, the Titans wish to regain the moral standards of what once was by reuniting the forces of good and bring back the Teen Titans into existence to fight the chaos and evil that has taken over. They reopen Titan's Tower, placing it in the hands of their children in hopes that they would be the ones to restore order. However, the new Titans will have to be undercover and impersonate as criminals if they ever wish to do so.

Height: He's short, like his mom. 5'4" Short and thin (surprisingly, with all the sweets he eats!). He's a little petite thing! That is until his dark side is revealed and takes over, he then grows to at least 6 and a half feet tall!
Parents: Beast Girl and Raven/Revan, but he does not know his father
Relatives: His parents, Eddie/Kid Devil (if you can count him), and his evil half brother who’s the child of MACADRIAN (Malchior).
Powers: Has the powers and abilities of both his parents, but is mainly known for his creepy-crawly shadow that seems to be alive all on it’s own at times. He also can pretty much appear as a dark and mysterious figure, even foreboding and can go through walls and pretty much act like a shadow and appear as nothing but a dark spot on the ground or a figure on a wall. …Hence the name “Shadow”. Also, when he does use his abilities that are similar to his mother, his “animals” come out looking like demonic monsters out of a sick and twisted nightmare instead of normal earthly creatures. He also communicates with spirits.
History: He grew up in South Africa with his mother and Eddie, living in an estate that his mother inherited. He had the best of the best, thanks to his mother possessing fortunes. However, no matter how his mother desperately tried to give him a normal life (as normal as it could get for individuals such as themselves), enemies always seemed to parade towards them in hopes to destroy them. Thanks to that, he learned how to protect and fight enemies.
His mother’s history and how he came to be:
Long story short…
After the defeat of Trigon, everyone believed Beast Girl to be DEAD. During the hellish battle for the planet’s safety, Beast Girl was controlled by Trigon and forced to go against her own friends, even kill them. She became “death”, taking her mother’s role after Trigon ordered her to destroy her and absorb her into her own being, obtaining not only her powers but she also became a full pledged demon, no longer half. Trigon sent her against her lover, soon to be Ex-lover, in hopes to try and coax him to turned to her side. It worked, but only for a short time. In the end, Beast Girl, after she had snapped out of her trance, sacrificed herself to save the world… Everyone was safe again, but grieved over the loss of their friend.
Several months later, she awoken and found herself drifting in one of the many dimensions, protected by her own aura that hid her from everything else in existence. Feeling ashamed of her past and having nowhere else to go, she went back to South Africa and claimed her inheritance in hopes to start a new life. Not too long after that, she learned she was pregnant.
Of course, Beast Girl was elated with the idea of becoming a mother… However, that soon changed into fear and dread when she learned the devastating fate of her unborn son. She recalled it as Eddie tried to help her with the unsettling news…
Just before she sacrificed herself, before everyone thought she was dead and right when Trigon was defeated and had her body destroyed… Trigon made her last attempts to flee for her life and begin a new in hopes in creating terror once again in the future… A new life in Beast Girl’s first and only son.
Beast Girl was heartbroken. But instead of destroying her son or pushing him away, she decided to make the best of it and refused to accept what her child might someday come to be. She filled his life with much love, kindness, and joy as she could muster.
Growing up was never easy for the boy, though, and not because he did not know his father or for the fact that he was considered a freak or a monster by most people… No, he suffered immensely from continuous nightmares, still does today, and had troubles with controlling his powers as well as what became known as his split personality. He had special therapists who tried to help him and many times he chose to confine himself in his room as a child.

Personality: Julian is anything but a spoiled brat, he is quite opposite. In fact, he picked up the traits of his mother and has a very friendly and warm personality. He’s also quite the gentleman since he was taught etiquette. He is literally one of the sweetest individuals you could meet and he’s quite quirky, too. He’ll say eccentric things and likes to be humorous, just like his mom. He likes to “put on the Ritz”, too, and dresses like he‘s going to somewhere formal. He’s also very leery of most people, so he’s very observant of everyone he meets and keeps a close eye or two (OR MORE) on them. He is very protective of his friends. And he also does not sleep much and stays awake for days at a time. He becomes hyper when he does not sleep, especially when sleep deprived. He sometimes is also child-like, especially when after consuming too many sweets.
However, there is a dark side. A very, very dark side. It’s a rare case scenario, but when provoked enough, his darkness rears it’s ugly head and literally comes out to rake it’s long nails into your flesh. It is like coming from behind the mask to say “BOO” or worse, like a ferocious beast, comes out to ravage it’s pray mercilessly. He is literally Jackal and Hyde, his dark personality belonging to none other than his past and reincarnated self, Trigon. And the power of Trigon is nothing to be contended with. He also suffers from personal and impersonal demons. His dark side is not only mad but also blood thirsty, very blood thirsty.
Sexuality: Bisexual. Can be anything, any gender he chooses. He was born without a gender. Though in his past life he was originally believed to be a WOMAN. He chose to be a male naturally because, well, he wanted to be.
Hobbies and Interests: Reading (He likes detective stories best), playing chess, playing card games, solving puzzles, Musicals, Opera, meditating, star gazing, communicating with spirits, New Age, parties and social gatherings, writing poetry, animals (kitties are his favorite), and hanging out with his friends. Oh, and most importantly, he LOVES tea! Tea and cookies/sweets!
Dislikes: Rudeness, being picked on by his older half brother, his older brother insisting that he‘s better than him, being belittled (especially by his older brother), disrespect, people who have no character or a sense of humor, meat, and having run out of tea and sweet things to eat. Oh LORD help us if that ever happens!

History: Ok, so we all know the story. Alien world is about to blow up. Parents in this alien world send their baby to a planet far, far, FAR away but still sort of like their own. Except turns out baby is all Mary Sue-riffic when it gets there. Baby grows up to be Superwoman and saves the world! A lot! Of course the evil people want to take her down so they can get their evil on without worrying about one more super powered freak to save the day, but try as they might, she’s just too damn powerful for them.

So they hatch a plan. They figure they need someone just as powerful to get rid of her, which eventually turns into clones. Now cloning is a dangerous and imperfect process by nature, not to mention the issue of controlling your ill begotten spawn, so there were quite a few failures for one reason or another over the decades. Finally it seemed like the bad guys had realized cloning yourself a super-powered evil twin just didn’t work, until Alice.

Alice, formerly known as XL9-54-367V, was created by a covert government organization that didn’t officially exist. They took DNA from a variety of Kryptonian sources, modified them, and twisted her internal workings for their own means. Yet, O.D.R.L.N.D.‘s (One Deviant Republic's Learned Nefarious Domain) plans were spoiled before they could see fruition. Somehow the Justice League of America had caught wind of the operation and an attack was mounted. Files were destroyed, personal killed in battle or sent to prison for their crimes, and the building was burnt to the ground. They were determined to make sure that another clone could not possibly be created again.

Still, the morality that defined the League stayed their hand when it came to destroying the clone herself. It was not a simple matter of rehabilitation as with other generations, for this one was only a child, scarcely more than a babe. It stayed in stasis as trials went on. Many were in favor of at least keeping it unconscious forever if not out right destroying the thing, but some fought for its’ right to live and it was those that won. So Alice was the first child to officially be adopted by the Justice League of America as they were charged with watching her and training her to choose the righteous path in life. Surrounded by the ever present doubts of the league about her moral standing, she tries her best to meet their expectations of the type of hero she’s supposed to be.

Personality: Cheerful most of the time. She was quiet as a child until she found acting happy made those she cared for happier… It’s a vicious cycle as she holds quite a bit of guilt over those like her. She's also stubborn, wicked smart, kind of hyper, and often chooses not to respect the personal space of others.
Sexuality: She errs on the side of straight.
Hobbies and Interests: Gymnastics. She even prefers to use acrobatics in her superheroing than flight. Fashion. Romantic comedies and bad horror movies (the cornier the better.

History: While her father is the king and even praised in such a position, despite the unusual peaceful nature of his reign, it has been made no secret to X’Hal that she would have to fight for her title. As her mother is from another world, she is viewed as a half-breed in both societies and therefore is also thought of as weak and incompetent by her peers. Her parents tried their best to raise her as lovingly as they could in order to make up for the social environment she was placed into, but ever since her Kel N’Rem (coming of age ceremony) she has become determined to surpass her father in skill and earn her place in legends worthy of her namesake.

Conquests against other planets have been fought and won under her command and the Tamaranean Empire has increased in those five years. She has trained hard and long to make sure that none would be able to over take her when a challenge is issued. Korand'r isn't quite as nave as his daughter thinks him to be though and has decided that his daughter could well do with an atmosphere that does not contain their war-driven society. So he threatened her with an arranged marriage if she didn't get her butt to Earth pronto. X'Hal has convinced herself that her stay on the planet is for the best if their worlds are to communicate properly. Her parents have forbidden her to even think of dominating the Earthlings.

Personality: She's efficient, precise, and too the point and prefers others to be as well. She is not given to anything she would call cruelty, but that's debatable if you happen to get under her skin. She is very honorable and honest to a fault. So if she promises you something, it will happen.
Sexuality: She really doesn’t know as she doesn’t dally in such idle past times

History: The original scarecrone realised that she was dying of cancer, and spent her last years trying to create and raise children. unfortunatly she was unable to give birth naturally, so she genetically created twins, using her own DNA, as well as DNA from Catman, 2-face & Harlequin, who were all well known enemies of the batwoman of gotham.
Originally Jennifer and Harvey were raised as villians, but when they were 16, their mother died, and the pair began to doubt their upbringing. And it wasn't until Jennifer's death at the hands of Harlequin, their father, that Harvey, decide he would atone for his parents crimes (all 4 of them) and avenge his siter at the same time. And so it was he joined the teen titans, though he's still not completely trusted by all.
Personality: Mostly cheeful and fun, he tries to fit in, and hide away his past, he's a bit of a prankster, and despite being serious when he needs to, he can't help but insult those who he's fighting.

Yay! I love the idea! I have one idea for a sort of doting "House Mom". She'd be old enough to be a mother and would be the Magical security system of the Tower. Phantasm from the old thread!

As for a mainline P.C. I'm having an absurd idea of a Plasmus/Amazing Man (from JSA. We don't have to be 100%on who got the GB do we?) and a serious Idea for the kid of Speedie and Katana.

The Queen of Spades

Head of one of the several gangs that are at the top of the crime ladder of Jump City.

She enjoys chaos, deception, homicide, and long walks on the beach,

Her hobbies include pyrotechnics, bedding her enemies and then murdering them, poisons, and fucking with the minds of all around her.

Her powers are manifested through black magic performed through incantation, and she is quite fond of rune work as well.

Once upon a time she used to be a girl named Sally. Her parents died in a car crash when she was three and was taken in by her only living relative. Too bad for her, her uncle was a raving lunatic obsessed with the occult and purifying the world of its' demons. This happened to include her. If she showed any inclination(imagined or real) that she'd commit some sort of sin, she was 'purified' of it. The punishment always fit the crime. Gluttony was starved. Pride was stripped. Greed was beaten. Wrath was burned. Sloth was worked to the bone. Envy was denied. Lust was raped.

When she was 14 she snapped and killed him with a lamp. It was very bloody. She left for life on the streets and started practicing the 'devil worship' her uncle had 'protected' her from all of these years out of desperation. Most of the time it didn't work and she drifted from place to place seeking refuge. Poor stupid girl found her way to Jump City already on it's way in a handbasket, but divided by gangs and still populated by normal citizens living a sort of normal life. She got in with one of the gangs and started practicing witchcraft more competently, rising within the ranks as the gang rose up on top for a moment.

Then it happened. One ritual worked, a little too well. Azazel was summoned and her soul was traded for protection and power. It broke what was left of her fragile hold on sanity and the memory of who she once was as well. They never saw it coming. Within a week, all that could oppose her were dead and suddenly she was calling herself a queen. Sure, many fought her, but they were quickly squashed and when they realized that she wasn't trying to control their actions anyways, it was almost business as usual.

Still, what was once only a title is now a fact as she believes she has always been. She is very content to watch Jump City defile itself until nothing is left. She has come to view herself as the embodiment of all that she was raised to fear. The Seven Deadly Sins are what she now spreads and encourages in all that dwell in her dominion.

Once her dearest possession (in the sense that she was fond of torturing her dearest possession) this woman is the only one of the Queen's pets not to be left in the hands of Dr. Feel Good or Gadget, or suffer death, after she's through playing with them. Not to say that she perhaps is any better off with her mind permanently caught in the various twists and turns of time and space.

That which she calls her 'beloved'. Her Majesty enjoys Cindy as a whole package deal. Only the delightful addition of relative innocence to her person keeps the Queen from indulging in any more carnal pursuits of the girl.

umm the Queen's (current) lover. He is like a drug in human form. Though he better watch it. Once you hit the stage of lover with her majesty there is only the ultimate demotion.
