Bruises

Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to the lifestyle, so I just have a question about bruises.

I haven't done any play that's rough until very recently, in which one of my friends tied me to a pole and flogged me brutally (definitely one of the best experiences of my life). I was so caught up in subspace that I didn't notice that she had left marks until the next day. The bruise is gorgeous; it extends from the lower part of the back of my thigh to the small of my back, and the skin is practically marbled black and blue and purple and all sorts of colors.

So my question is: how do you deal with such things in the coming days? Should I just get some vitamin E and rub it on the bruise? I do like to wear skirts occasionally, and I don't want my vanilla friends to think I'm being abused (nonconsensually). What do you do to make the bruises heal faster/keep the skin strong and intact?

Thanks so much for any help! :)

Aloe Vera and arnica both take the pain out the bruise as it fades.

I haven't tried it, but I've heard Arnica cream works well for healing bruises over and over, so you might look into that. I know you can get it in many health food stores and online; I bet someone can recommend a brand and/or dosage (i.e. how much arnica is in the cream) that's worked for them.

I've used two types of Arnica cream - one was a "sport" version which had a higher concentration. Both seemed to work okay (I applied it twice daily - morning and night). I've not tried the tablets, but I've been told that they work wonders. I don't think the tablets are something that you can take long term, or if you're pregnant.

And yes, it's pretty easy to find - just look or ask at your local chemist/pharmacy.

My daughter always has tons of bruises but it's from her martial arts rather than kinky sex. It's been suggested that some vitamin c might help with that. Caution though, too much will upset her tummy and lead to bathroom antics you don't want to deal with.

She doesn't seem to care if anyone sees but I sometimes worry that people might think her parents are abusing her.

I have heard that too much Vitamin C can reduce the effectiveness of the pill - though that might have something to do with upsetting the tummy.

Now, I've just realised I wouldn't have a clue.

I've never tried to speed up bruise healing.

Hmmm. *ponders that*

I hate the word "lifestyle".

I like to beat women. Does that make me a lifestyle?

Quite so !

I love carrying my bruises - as well as seeing those I inflict on my lady. They are never-ending reminders of a very intense, sometimes overwhelming act of love making.

Mmm I like reminders.

I like the way it hurts to sit sometimes, or to move a certain way. Instantly takes me back.

I like seeing them on my skin. *shrugs* I just do.

I like the way they remind me that someone cares enough to make me feel *that* much, and feel that good.

That's possible. She's not on the pill. However, when I was on the pill, despite the fact that I have always a big lover of vitamin C, I had no unwanted pregnancies occur. I could have just be lucky I suppose.

Honestly if a doc looked at my girl these days they'd probably think she was being abused. The bruises are many and quite spectacular. She loves what she is doing. I wouldn't be surprised if she identified as kinky.

I love bruising. It just adds to that visceral feeling of spanking or just hitting in general. Knowing that you caused a mark on someone you care about. It acts as a memento of the moment it was made as well as gives you a connection to whoever you did bruise. It's almost feels like a mark of ownership of sorts.

Arnica creams contain wolfsbane or mountain amica (same plant dif name) that increase blood circulation to the area. Essentially it can help circulate and get rid of clots (bruises) So if you can't find it or would like to try something with it, apply heat and massage the area. At first you should just use ice until the bruise stops. But say the next day, apply heat and massage the bruise. Think of rubbing away from the center of it to get the blood to be reabsorbed. Each time you do it you will notice the edges fading and the bruise will speed in healing.

hi

any video website showing flogging, caning and such scenes? I have been searching, and could not find. any suggestions? thank you for the help and suggestions.

I asked this same question a month or so ago, and found that I didn't want the bruising to go away quickly after all. It's a wonderful reminder of exquisite pleasure as well as pain. I only wish I bruised more easily as it takes a lot to leave marks on me.

I adore the bruises and marks Master leaves on me. I tend to find myself looking at them in the mirror anytime I pass it as I just love the meaning and love behind each mark. I find the bruises erotic and very beautiful - like a piece of art Master lovingly created on my flesh.

However, I can fully understand that some need to either get rid of them quickly or not have them at all due to their jobs or some other reason.

I'm with the group that likes to keep the marks as a reminder. I have only had ones that lasted a short time and was looking forward to having marks be the goal. I agree with what everyone has said on this side of the fence. It is a wonderful reminder and a bonding experience.

Having said that, I have used Arnica in both tablet and cream form for non-activity related injuries. I prefer the tablets for overall soreness that comes from an intense workout but for centralized injuries I found the cream worked better.

The other day I wrestled with a female friend of mine, and the day after she smiled and showed me these HUGE bruises on her arms from where I did wrist locks on her. I asked if I'd been too rough, and she smiled again and said "no, I just bruise easy." Goddamn I want to fuck that woman.

I've always used arnica. But this is great information. Thanks!

I personally like the bruises. Yet, Arnica does work. I use it only when I must but I love the lasting impressions.

Funny, the day after I first hear about arnica, I start seeing it advertised on tv here.

Weird.

I got my first bruises last saturday, and they're still there lol.

I've done nothing about them, cos I'm quite proud of them to be honest. They're hidden, so no one I don't want to see them will see them unless my mum walks in on me in the bath or something stupid like that lol.

heel marks

A few heel marks after some full weigth high heel trampling fun. My friend was afraid of hurting me - it was her first time - although she got quite aroused. I'm sure I'll persuade her to be a bit more vigorous next time. Can't wait to try trampling her.
