Hi everyone! I'm fairly new to the lifestyle, so I just have a question about bruises.
I haven't done any play that's rough until very recently, in which one of my friends tied me to a pole and flogged me brutally (definitely one of the best experiences of my life). I was so caught up in subspace that I didn't notice that she had left marks until the next day. The bruise is gorgeous; it extends from the lower part of the back of my thigh to the small of my back, and the skin is practically marbled black and blue and purple and all sorts of colors.
So my question is: how do you deal with such things in the coming days? Should I just get some vitamin E and rub it on the bruise? I do like to wear skirts occasionally, and I don't want my vanilla friends to think I'm being abused (nonconsensually). What do you do to make the bruises heal faster/keep the skin strong and intact?
Thanks so much for any help!
