The city of Browning was a rather decent place...well, once you got past all of the super powered people who seemed to be running around there for whatever reason it was that they seemed to gravitate there. It was a nice city, filled with the hustle and bustle of normal life. It was a nice place. It really was.

---

William power was sitting silently in his 'workshop' which was really the basement of his house. He was looking over what he had been working on now for quite some time. It wasn't all that good. It was a 'stun ray' which was supposed to help him get rid of some of the super powered heroes and whatnot. He looked her over for a few more moments and then he reached forward and picked the gun-shaped weapon off of the workbench, looking over it for a few more moments. This was really just dodging the actual topic that was his life. He needed to get out more. It was just a problem when you were an evil genius. He wasn't even sure why he was an evil genius. He didn't want to rule the world or anything. He just found the whole evil thing a bit therapeutic some of the time.

Sitting in his workroom sometimes not so therapeutic, but that was part of being an evil genius as well. It wasn't like every day was filled with action and excitement. It really couldn't be. He sighed and put the gun down again. Soon things would be exciting again.

((Description of my character will be coming in the next few posts))

Casey Attache sat on a stool off to one side of the 'workshop' and tapped one boot-encased toe impatiently up and down. She suspected that simply staring at the new device...she was pretty sure he'd said it would be a stun ray, but he went through so many inventions, sometimes it got tough to keep track...was not likely to make it work better.

She drew in a deep breath, her already slightly over-large chest expanding a bit more and putting a bit of strain on her black body suit, and let it out in a dramatic sigh. She wanted to get on with things, if there were in fact going to be things to get on with today.

Normally, of course, she wouldn't have been like this; she tended to be more tolerable on William, very near worshipped him in fact. However, the stove was out again this morning...no doubt cannibalized to get stun ray pieces...which she had only learned AFTER whipping up eggs for an omelette and trying to grease the pan. She had resorted to a little of her pyrokinetic powers, and as always, suffered the consequences.

Casey had learned of her psychic abilities in her mid-teens. She learned that their use often caused her emotions to run amuck very soon after, a phenomenon she came to think of as her Psychic Mood Swings. Since then, lord help anyone close by when she fell under a bout of her PMS.

Today it had been a sudden feeling of anxiousness, which wasn't as bad as it could have been. Still...this waiting was getting annoying. She went back to her tapping.

Distressing Damsel...

She would not be in distress, not today! Katelyn Payne was tired of always being saved by the handsome Charisma Man, okay maybe she wasn't tired of being saved by him. In fact, she loved being saved by him. Hell, she'd tie herself up to his bed and scream that someone was trying to rape her(if that were possible and if he were that stupid) just to get him to save her.

She was just tired of being used in idiotic schemes by Captain Awful. He wasn't even a decent villian. He was quite frankly the worst villian in the world. The last time he kidnapped her, he hadn't even tied her up, he offered her a snack and told her to make herself at home. What kind of kidnapper was he? What kind of villian was he?! There wasn't even any reason for her to scream for help!

So Katelyn had decided she wouldn't be the distressing damsel anymore...nope, it wasn't going to happen. Especially since, villians were lacking these days.

Invisibly Invincible

Invisibly Invincible stepped out if the shower. He was afforded the privilege of having his own bathroom, him being the president of VVV and all. The VVV or the Violent Vexing Villains, is a group of supervillians, as the name suggested. They were facing some financial problems since some time, and thus their headquarters was a dump. According to him, II was the only real supervillian around here. But still, they were much better than the likes of Captain Awful and Hot for Hero Villainess. Captain Awful was the one who had given him the bomb to gain entry to the bank vault the last time. That hadn't turned out as planned.

II looked down the back of his hand, where the hair were still singed from when the bomb had gone off in his hand. And the bomb had been so feeble that it wouldn't have even blown up a wooden door, much less a eight inch thick steel one. He was glad that he was invulnerable though, or he might have had a bruise on his fingers. And that idiot wanted entry into the VVV.

Just for funsies, II turned himself invisible, and looked at his reflection in the mirror. Or the lack of it. He smiled to himself. If he could just somehow get his clothes to become invisible too, that would be awesome. As it is now, he could go naked on a mission and use it. But real supervillains weren't naked. They wore a menacing costume, which hung baside him in the bathroom. Soon he was going to solve their cash flow problem, once and for all.

Three days later..

Katie had finished her karate and self defense class. It exciting her that she wasn't going to be known as the 'distessing damsel' any longer. She'd kick Captain Awfuls sorry ass. She giggled at that and drove home, stopping by a nearby fast food and grabbing herself something to eat.

"Oh crap, I have to go to the bank too." Katie said to herself.

She drove to the nearest bank while thinking over the latest karate moves and punches.

She walked into the bank and groaned and the long line in front of her.

Captain Awful sighed softly as he looked at the bank. He wandered into the bank and sighed softly and then brought his hand up pointing the flashy light gun that did nothing other than make noise and shoot bright lights. He smiled softly as he fired a few bright lights up at the ceiling. He smiled as he looked around for a few moments, trying to remain really calm and relaxed, "Well guys. We all know the story here, don't we?" He smiled and pulled out his big bag, with the nice big dollar sign on the side. He wandered up to the front and tossed the bag onto the counter. He smiled and brought his hand up, adjusting the blast goggles that he wasn't wearing to shield his eyes, but instead was wearing over his forehead. His brown hair hung over the edge of his goggles. He smiled as he looked at everyone, his emerald green eyes looked over the scene, "Everyone can just relax, and nothing will be a problem."

Mental Casey followed Capt. Awful into the bank slowly and somewhat apathetically. With one hand she carried a bag similar to his, while the other hand pushed her long red hair back over her shoulders, then adjusted the mask over her eyes. Not that anyone ever looked at her face long enough for her to need a mask...hell, with her figure, she didn't figure many people knew she had a head at all.

She tossed the bag onto the counter a few windows down from the Captain, and cleared her throat, putting on her threatening voice. "Right, like her said...fill the bag, and no one has...has to...HEY!" She reached out and slapped the teller. "Hey, buddy...those things don't talk, look at me; my eyes are up here. Let's try to focus people, and be a bit more professional about this robbery."

Inwardly she groaned, but thankfully the man seemed to take her more seriously. She glanced down over her costume. Maybe I'd get more respect if I didn't look like that Erin Esurance chick with a pair of 40Fs

As always Athena was low on cash today the average hero had a hard time paying the bills much less keeping up her lifestyle. At least as part of the Do Gooders society she was guaranteed steady if not enjoyable work. She saw the two villains in the bank and walked past them to the teller. “look I want 500 twenties tens and fives no small change“ she looked around everywhere people asking for help. She blew another bubble dam civvies always getting in trouble.

“Look I am on my day off“ she complained not that she took the mask off but she was not in he costume. She looked at the villain c rank at the rest and had her self a good laugh at his expense. “Look I don‘t care get Demolition down here not that you would have much of a bank left“ she reached over taking the cash when something stopped her or someone a villain in her path. “look I don’t care rob the place just don’t touch any of my stiff“.

Oh come on seriously a bank robbery?! Katie thought rolling her eyes at the familiar captain awful. Why didn't he just plaster a sign on his forehead that said, 'I really don't have a clue on how to do my job, but I get an A for effort.' She giggled at her inside joke as all the other customers (or at least the ones who weren't that familiar with Capt. Awful) cowered in fear.

"OH COME ON GUYS! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUSLY AFRAID OF THEM. CAN YOU?!" She yelled at the customers. How pathetic and what was even worse was Charisma man wasn't even there for her to drool over.

William frowned softly a hero was here and they weren't taking him seriously, and now one of he bystanders was standing up to him. He brought his hand up adjusting his goggles a little bit. He then stepped forward and pressed the light gun against the back of the girl's head, "Oi!" He frowned, "Don't make me shoot you." He pulled down his goggles so that they would cover his eyes, continuing the idea that what he was going to do was shoot the girl resulting in a spray of blood or something. He smirked softly, "Casey, gather up the money. I think we should take this 'hero' with to make sure we remain safe. None of the heroes wants to risk the danger of having the blood of a hostage on their hands."

Katie couldn't believe her luck, maybe she could use some of her karate skills on him or even defense skills. That would show him how to treat a lady and threatening to blow her brains out was definately not the way. She sighed, "Are you kidding me? How many times have you threatened to blow my brains out? Seriously, and then offer me potato chips while I sit and wait for Charisma man to come to my rescue." Then without warning she jabbed him in the stomach, watching him fall, she kicked him. "TAKE THAT!!!"

Felix of course doubled over when he was strucke in the chest by the girl's elbow. This hadn't been the plan. Why was this girl always so angry with him? He brought her to his base and then he treated her with the utmost respect and kindness, and then he gave her over to that tool, Charisma man when he showed up. The problem was that he was a villain. That was really the only problem. He fell over to the ground and was met with kicks. Why was this happening? He hadn't even done anything bad yet. Surely he had suggested he would, but really...

Athena watched the event unfold this was better then cinimax she pulled out a drink. "don't let me stop you" she told him gathering one of the sacks of money and returning it to the vault. She called up action news station 13 and gave them the address of the bank that was being robed. “you the villain” she asked the female answered her instead. “no the male one what is you’re name” After he answered she then called the ambulance and threw the other sack in the vault. “Ok so which hospital is closer All Saints or Hearts Mercy”

Katie stood there as if she were the super hero. She had successfully, defeated Capt. Awful and now the other lady who seemed to be enjoying the display of...womanhood? She supposed that would've been the right word, anyways the other woman, seemed to enjoy it as much as she enjoyed kicking him.

Casey was struck dumb watching the Captain basicaly having his ass handed to him by his frequent "hostage," and so took a few moments to notice her bag of money had been taken back and returned to the vault. She sighed and shook her head; much as she liked and idolized Capt. Awful, the man was, indeed, an idiot at times.

Touching her finger tips to her temples (half for showmanship, half to stem a growing migraine) she began to focus on levitating Capt. Awful out of the way of danger so they might cut their losses and get away. Sadly, however, she was struck by another Psychic Mood Swing, and suddenly...

In complete, abject terror, she forgot this was her very intention and watched as the man began to float towards her. Running in circles and screaming, she continued to be chased by the flying villian, and eventually triped over a cowering bank customer and fell flat on her face.

William had begun hovering. This was actually pretty nice. He was going to get away from all of the trouble. Suddenly he was floating through the air faster and the girl who was levitating him tripped and fell forward. Will flew forward, and of course came crashing down on top of his sidekick, putting him in a situation that was bit closer than he really thought would happen. He blinked and looked over his shoulder and around for a few moments. Well, with Casey like she was...Will quickly pushed himself up and picked up the girl, throwing her over his shoulder, "Alright, okay, we lose, I get it... " He began to hobble out with the bigchested woman still over his shoulder, "Next time! Next time!" He tried to sound menacing, but knew it wasn't working. This was depressing. How did everything work out that badly?

Athena shook her head "I want the girl so she will thank me with money" she stamped her feet. she began walking over to captain what’s his name when the reporters shower up. "unhand that woman villain" she spoke pointing at the man holding the big chested woman. "or I will have to get rough with you" she posed for a few pictures and refused to give out autographs "I have injustice to avenge"

He frowned at the girl and kept a firm hold of the girl who was over his shoulder, "Leave my henchwoman out of this!" He turned back to the people who had arrived. Great, now all of this was going to happen was a whole lot of people turning on him for kidnapping someone he growled as he looked back to Athena, "Go do something or something and leave me and my henchwoman alone!" His bottom lip quivered as if he was about to cry or something.

She wanted to laugh she moved in front of him not even taking him serious. "Just put the girl down and you can leave" She was on break and did not want to fight. Lucky the camera crews did not hear what she was saying so she spoke up. "Let her go Villain and flee like the coward that you are" she made a grab for the woman. No use in using superpowers on a weakling like him anyways.

Felix slid back. Like he was going to let anyone take Mental Casey from him. That was stupid. He pointed at her, "Seriously, did you not see her robbing the bank with me? Really?" He took a few steps back, "There is pretty much a zero percent chance that I'm going to let you take her away from me." He frowned, especially since she was the only thing that was around him that worked at all. It didn't matter that her powers were crazy and chaotic. It was the fact that she had powers that worked, "Back off, super woman!"

Katie watched the whole scene in amazement. The super herione was really something! Katie wondered if perhaps she could become her side kick. She could picture it now, ' Superwoman and and.....' well she couldn't think of a name at the moment, still the thought of it, made her giggle and maybe..just maybe she could get Charisma man's attention!

"Look I saw her fist so hand her over" A lie but one hard to prove she smiled what could she do. Have her do her laundry cook clean and maybe more "She is up my sidekick" She held up her fist dripping with cosmic energy rays of the moon stored in her gloves. "give her back or face me in mortal combat"
she punched a wall drilling a foot into the solid granite and concrete.

This was her chance, she could be her sidekick! She could do it! "I'll do it!!!" She blurted out, then quickly covered her mouth. Had she really just said that...outloud!? Oh crap, this was something she couldn't take back very easily either. "I-I can be your side kick..." she said more nervously.

William had been about to take the super woman up on the offer. He'd go into battle to keep Casey by his side. He frowned and had been about to put her down so he could go into combat and then the woman who had dealt with him in the bank spoke up. He looked over to her. This was his chance, and as long as she was a distraction for a minute, he could escape with Casey. He slowly began to creep off again, still carrying Casey over his shoulder.
