And the train wreck that follows leaves her dazed and confused. Let's face it. Being a folksey hockey mom with a snarky attitude only qualifies you to be governor of a state that has less people than most mid sized cities.

She is flummoxed, by questions of foriegn policy, ignorant of current events, bewildered by basic history, and repeats outright lies as the truth because she's so stupid she can't tell the difference.

What's the Bush Doctrine again Honey?

Well, to be fair, you do as well.

I'm sorry McCain didn't pick you.

Flummoxed.

Once again, somebody been stealing lines from others.

So this is your ringing endorsement of Stupid Sarah for VP to a guy with one foot in the grave and other on a banana peel? This is who we send to go toe to toe with Putin in the middle of a nuclear stand off?

I never said I thought Sarah was a good choice to be sitting in the big chair...she was chosen to help win the election. She seems about as good as Obama though, for what that's worth..I'm not thinking he'd be awesome in a nuclear standoff...not for a minute!

She has been subjected to lots of lies and smears...and by liberals, go figure.

Um. That would really depend on who you ask. There's about four different ones floating around, none of them "official".

The one Gibson was referencing didn't happen on the date he said it did, the one occurring on that date was a different one than the one he was talking about.

But don't let that stop you from faulting her for being confused.

What about all that "Country First!" crap?

Do Republicans lie on purpose or does it just come natural?

....I'm not thinking he'd be awesome in a nuclear standoff...not for a minute!

No. You wouldn't want a real smart guy in that position. You'd rather have an angry, old guy who was a prisoner of war who has been beat, broken, and traumatized for several years?

It's all about decision making. Smart doesn't mean wise. McCain cleaned Obama's clock on the VP selection test. I'd be surprised if you could find many people who think Obama is better at foreign policy than McCain, other than people who think Obama can do no wrong anyway.

Stop being so "flummoxed" while overusing stupid and ignorant in your posts about a Vice Presidential candidate from your puter chair. If you could do better than her then hike up your skirt and go to town, Sally.

Oh my God! You really believe what you're saying!

Obama should have picked Obama Girl instead of Biden I guess. http://www.mystrands.com/photos/2/0/8/normal/20832.jpg

She's hawt. What state is she governor of?

If Barack had picked Hillary, the last two weeks would have been very different. Don't think there aren't a lot of people wanting a do-over right about now.

Just to clarify...the election is all about getting people to vote for you. If it was about who had the "best ideas",or "best resume", it would be way different.

Nobody cares if you don't like Sarah. Plenty of people took a fresh look at McCain following his decision, though. Sooooo...he wins, you lose.

No doubt about it. If we get into a nuclear showdown with Russia and Putin starts asking her current events questions, we're fucked.

That's not the issue. The issue is that McCain picked a woman who has obviously (and by her own admission with respect to Iraq) been too narrowly focused on Alaska to give national and foreign policy issues much attention.

That's fine for an Alaskan Governor. That is not fine for the Vice President of the United States.

The fact that she's had to be schooled in the ways of foreign policy is unprecedented. And she's not being just schooled on what McCain thinks - she's having to learn about everything regarding foreign policy because she doesn't know anything.

It's not that she's going to have to be asked questions by Putin, it's that (1) she's not going to be able to help McCain govern in any fashion on foreign policy; and (2) god forbid something happens to McCain - we have a person in office guiding our troops in Iraq who really doesn't know about the historical, political, security, and ethnic underpinnings that have made this war so difficult to win.

Look - Rumsfeld demonstrated a lack of "understanding" of Iraq early on in his policy. Bush - had no "knowledge" of foreign policy. Look where that has gotten us?

I'm not talking experience here - I'm talking "knowledge" and "understanding."

Do we really want someone in office who has as little intellectual curiosity as Bush directing our foreign policy? Have we not learned anything from the last 8 years? History repeating itself, anyone?

This McCain/Campaign is the antithesis of change - it's using the status quo and hyperinflating the flaws inherent in it.

Another Koolade drinker comes out of the woodwork.

Tell me all about the Bush doctrine, will ya?

Is this anything like a candidate for President calling for a UN resolution so Russia can sanction itself?

Sharon -- still tryin' to keep it real
