Leo Sanders was not an imposing man, by stature. He did know, however, how to make himself seem more so than he truly was. His 5'11" frame was always held in a fairly upright manner, shoulders back most of the time, green eyes piercing all who gazed into them. His dark hair was kept short, and were it not for the ever-present five o'clock shadow that framed his face, he would have been labeled as the obligitory pretty-boy.
His facial expressions rarely showed much except for a slight smile as he watched other gathering early at this particular club. Despite his rigid frame, he still seemed quite relaxed and confident as he waited. There was nothing special about this particular club, it was just well-known, and therefore quite busy. The perfect meeting spot, for a pair of online friends.
He thought about the time they had spent together online, knowing that each hour was an investment. He did genuinely care about what she had to say, and often found himself quite interested in her day-to-day affairs. She could talk for quite long stretches however, and he had spent many a night up late listening to her talk.
The investment would soon pay off, tonight, in fact, as she was due to arrive any minute, and would be here for the entire weekend. She had reserved her own room at a local hotel, as she was unsure if their relationship would be able to progress once she had arrived. It was understandable, as many people met online turn out to be completely different than first percieved. She couldn't possibly imagine the plans he had for her, however, and no amount of preparing a hotel room just in case would save her from the life she was about to embark in.
As his eyes scanned the room, his hand fondled a glass. Suddenly, he spotted her, striding towards him, and he smiled, as charmingly as possible.
Oh, this is going to be fun...
