Use the story search engine

Hi,
I found a story a while back and really enjoyed it. After a Windows problem, I lost all my bookmarks.
I have searched and searched for this story and not matter how many of the details I can remember I put into the search I cannot find it
Anyone got some search tips?

Both the story and forum search engines are much more difficult to use than Google.

Follow the instructions for finding stories via google in THIS THREAD (also at the top of the Story Feedback forum).

You won't find stories that were removed by their authors, though.
