The only thing killing lit chat are the intrusive chat monitors who ban people not for violations of the rules but rather to settle scores or further personal agendas.

I hope they have killed it.... Lit chat sucked. every time I was on, teeny-boopper banter. This is Literotica. Lit Chat sucked. I think everyone was a moderator. You mention anything sexual, BANNED....
Everyone on was philosopher King.... good riddance. If they log it back on... I hope they do it right..... otherwise just leave it off....

I've never been able to use it, so idk how it really was, but I'd love a chat space where you could openly talk about sex with a group of people. So many chat rooms are filled with bots and spam - sooooo annoying! So I like the idea of Lit Chat but if mods are banning people all the time, I imagine that's less than fun lol

I've never been able to get into chat either but think it could be fun too. But not if overly moderated....

Lit Chat hasnt worked for me in ages but ive never had the problems with Mods everyone seems to have had. Infact the only problem i did have with it was the system crashing at innapropriate (for me!) times

It works off and on. I usually need to click Refresh a few dozen times (no kidding) before I get to a log on screen.
I don't know why they have no interest in fixing it... its really a shame.
There is some good ol' fun to be had when you get logged in , though

I found Lit by looking for chatrooms on the internet. For some months it hasn't worked for me, and when it does, like once last week, it was a dead zone, as far as what I was interested in (and a few things I wasn't!). Too bad, I had some (for me) big fun there.
I did get booted a few times by moderators for nothing (literally...just in a room, introduced myself, bam gone), but I chalked it up to a misclick of the mouse, until I read this thread.
