I realize it's not helping right now, but it's invaluable for career advancement in your field. Given the orientation of your specialization, you'll recoup your investment faster than you think. It's supply vs. demand.

Let's hope so. Bacteria aren't nearly as stubborn as viruses...and the body's natural defenses can control them more easily. You should be ok.

You were doing good with the first part, but the second is not going to get you pointed in the right direction.

I don't have the film. Not even copies. Handley hasn't developed it yet. If I'd been the photographer, I'd have gone digital and emailed you the pix. I haven't even seen them. Remember, I was on the same side of the lens you were?

I feel your pain, girl. I remember living out of my car at one point in life, doing laundry at my sister's and bumming showers from friends. Working at a restaurant, I was able to find food to eat (the cook was a little sweet on me), but it was embarrassing and scary. And I didn't have kids at the time. It's hard to imagine what it would be like with my princess. I'd probably have to suck up my pride and turn to (gads!) my family for help. Not sure it would be worth emotional trauma, though.

Oh, fine. So I sound earthy. If I try real hard I can manage to affect a prissy tone, if you like.

I hate to take off, but... I finally got the little princess to bed and I'm exhausted. Insomnia last night and I'm hoping I'll just drop off once my head hits the pillow tonight.

Insomnia. Now that's a worthless illness. I call it an illness cuz something is obviously wrong, even if you don't know what it is. You spend the entire night awake, but too tired to do anything other than lie there. Next thing you know it's morning and you don't get to call off cuz no boss alive excepts insomnia as a viable excuse to miss work. You spend the rest of your day useless and zombie like, only to go home praying you'll get a chance to sleep that night. The more you worry about it, the less likely it is. Go figure.

Crossing my fingers and heading out.

Good night naked people. I'll try and be back more often in the future..

G'nite, everyone. I'm not sure whether to just go to bed or to take a nap and then go to bed. Insomnia is rarely a problem in the den.

Coffee is on, doughnuts available.
Fire is stoked (it's bloody cold round here)
and the Dragon (bless 'im) has heated the stones.

And Now we'll curl up in the corner chair for a while.

PS. Don't worry, Trish. the film's safe (somewhere)
