The Warrior's Academy was the home to many elite warriors over the centuries... It was even said that the great Hercules once attended this same school. Pride seemed to flow from the stone walls like the rivers that surrounded it, and the strength of those inside only seemed matched by their determination. To attend such a school should be seen as a thing of honor...
...Which only made the appearance of the brown horse approaching the gates and two fighting figures upon its back more curious.
"Hades take your soul!," The young woman hissed, clawing at the man holding her onto the horse. "I won't stay here, and I refuse to listen to a damned word he dares say to me!"
The man only batted at her flinging hands, obviously a natural reaction from this occurring for quite some time. "Quiet, Quinn. This is for your own good... and your father is not going to listen to anymore complaints about you."
"STEP father. I don't share any blood with that monster." Quinn gave a frustrated growl, eyeing the gates as they came closer. She truly did not want to be there. She'd rather be home, back in her own village, back amongst the boys that she could easily bring to their knees- Damn her stepfather for bringing in this ogre to round her up! "How long do I have to be here?"
"He didn't say... other than that he hopes its some time." With a shove, he knocked her off the horse, tossing down the sack that contained her belongings. "Your stepfather will send for you when he feels you're ready to come home. A warning, as well... If we receive word of your behavior being less than favorable, you won't like the consequences."
Quinn glared at him as he started back up the pathway, picking up her bag with a frustrated sigh before pounding her fist against the heavy wooden doors. Warrior's academy... ha. More like a jail cell for her; being sent here for her 'questionable behavior'... She knew for a fact that her stepfather was a warlord, no matter how much her mother tried to deny it. How could a man like that question HER actions?! Especially with the things that he had done to her over the years- No man would ever think themselves higher than her, she would make sure of that. If he wanted her to stay there, she would... and she would become strong enough to cut the smug smile from his lips when she returned home.
