As part of my house arrest the judge sent me to a court appointed psychologist to see if I have problems with my temper.

Unfortunately, in the last two years I have been in a few situations but all of them in my oppinion was justified. Let me list them and get your oppinions.

1. Some fella was spotting dear and shot my horse in the head by mistake. So later after finding out who did it I beat his truck up with a baseball bat in town in front of the diner.

2. My daughters boyfriend smacked her around one night so I kicked his ass.

3. Some 4 wheeler was doing donuts in my crops so I shot his tires out.

4. A fella was insulting a gal in the bar and kept making unwanted advances and I told him to knock it off. He looked me in the eye and smiled and grabbed this gals breast as she passed by so I kicked him in the jewels.

Now I hardly think that 4 incidents in 2 years hardly constitutes temper problems and frankly those fuckers asked for it.

What you think? Do I have temper issues or would you of reacted similiarly.

( If I messed up some spelling and you desire to correct me, Fuck You in advance )

...this sounds like the makings for another bad movie with Tobey Keith.

Sorry you've had a hard go of it. And that's a DAMN shame about your horse. It's one of the reasons I put colourful leg wraps and and breastcolar on my horses when we're off farm..

I probably wouldn't have been as restrained as you were. :D

I actually admire your restraint. I can imagine doing much worse things under similar circumstances and all my shrink says is that I have "Control issues". <shrug>

House arrest sounds good. That's pretty much why I stay at home.

I would have killed all those people.

I would call that a temper. But then again, I jump out of my skin if someone raises their voice to me.

Indeed.

I'm on self-appointed house arrest. I get 2 hours out of the house a day to work out. I'm lucky I have such a lenient P.O.

Your murderous rages are why I adore you so much.

Frankly, I do think you have an anger management problem. That's the pc version of what I really think...

You say you're a redneck and that's the way they handle shit. Going off on their emotions before thinking consequences through. Using braun instead of brain...

Any of the things that set you off are of course reasonable to be intolerant of but the way you deal with them is what sets you apart from the more civilized of society...

You have a bad temper and need to learn to channel it differently...

You think your actions are justified and to an unlearned man they may be... But to a learned man, you would have found a more insidious way of revenge, if at all and not just acted physically and out of control...

Why change what works?

I do mean it when I say me staying away from other people is a good thing.

I mean, hell, just look at what I say here.

Well if my wife was still alive none of that would of happened.

She kept a tight leash on me.

This is true. Husband and I actually worked into our vows that we couldn't do anything that would result in jail time.

But if he were gone...

Yes. I can't imagine my retired college professor dad shooting someone's tires out for doing donuts in his yard, now that I think about it.

I'm going with nope, I don't think you have anger issues. A temper, maybe but you're not the only one.

Continue on now.

It is damn difficult being out in the world, damn difficult. Practically have to bite my tongue in two every damn day.

Yeah it does look like you are developing some not so healty habits...all of those responces are kind of normal...but the circumstance could have turned out much different and bad for both parties...for example, the guy who shot your horse...that would piss me off as well...but it could have turned out that the guy in trying to stop you from smashing his truck...pulled out his rifle...and seeing as how he can't distiguish a horse from a deer...he might have been dumb enough to put a bullet in your head...it might be good for you to try and learn to control your temper a bit.

If you had enough evidence you should have turned this over to the law.

2. My daughters boyfriend smacked her around one night so I kicked his ass.
Ditto. Although I would maybe have done the same.

3. Some 4 wheeler was doing donuts in my crops so I shot his tires out.
Did your phone not work?

Why didn't she kick him in the balls?

If we lived in a society where there was no law enforcement I wouldn't have a problem with your behavior, but we do have law enforcement, and part of the social contract is that we agree to allow law enforcement enforce the law when possible.

Unlearned? Oh I beg to differ. I may not be a rocket scientist and I don't pretend to be what I ain't. But I know enough not to drag cow shit into my house and I have enough class not to fart at the supper table.

Your statement about a learned man being more insidious is in my oppinion acts of cowardice.

I just happen to be a real man who has the balls to confront people and take care of business.

Well that's how I see things.

I know you are trying to be funny.

But there is a difference from being funny and being an ass.

Hey lighten up. You ain't the only person to lose people in your life tragically or not so tragically. You are the one who put it out there. Not I. Don't put it out there if you consider it a no go zone. Capiche?
