Honestly, they don't have to be big. I like them small. Still "grab, pinch and apply" should work fine if only for "a little while." A little while is as long as clamps should be used IMO anyway.

You mean wooden clothespins? I've seen them in WalMart with the ironing boards and mine came from the laundry section of the grocery store. |

I have never even seen a Walmart.. I have tried a few local stores.. I think I may try Target.. thats close to me... and it seems that Walmart and Target are similiar..

Random thought from the odd mind of the mouse...
I wonder if my tolerance for nipple clamps, is in any way connected to nursing for evelenty-million years/needing to use hospital grade pump in the past... something makes me think the PSI of a pair of clamps is nothing compared to what can happen if a baby has a poor latch/bites, or a pump isn't used correctly...

I only had two but I nursed each for a looooong time. I'd have kept it up if my husband were into it enough. *sigh*
Pumps back when I did it, rather hurt and weren't efficient. I hope they are better today.
One child didn't get teeth for 11 months, the other did at four months. That was fun. Damn!
It was pretty cool how different my boobs could feel depending on when the baby had last fed and so on. Sometimes it was painful but in a cool way, IMO. Other times it was lovely. *sigh*
I found clothes pins at a dollar store. I also found clothes line which I have used for bondage from time to time. You have to be careful because it's so small in diameter, that rope. |

Nipple clamps don't do a thing for me. It seems that all of my boys have very sensitive nipples that respond favorably to a bit of nipple torture.
It is especially useful when I have doing a bit of edge play.
I do like a sub with big ole nipples!

Depends on the type of clamp for me. Clothes pins - far too painful, more like torture or punishment. Hair separating clips or hair grips - they send nice warm fuzzy feelings through me... =]

Just thought of something else. Nipple clamps don't stay on me well for some reason. I have to use clovers or piercing forceps to get them to stay on, even for a little while, but a lot of times, those kinds of clamps are too intense. It's a pain sometimes.

Never seen a WalMart? I am envious!! Where I live you can't throw a rock without hitting a WM. I'm counting down the days our Target opens..I'll never again darken WalMart's door if I can help it. |

Clothespins, adjustable clamps, clover clamps (weighted or not), small hair bands to wrap around the nipples and a recent experience with suction that got high marks. It’s all good, I love to have things on my nipples.

My nipples are extremely sensitive now that they are pierced, so clamps actually hurt in a very bad way. I can take clothes pins, or clamps elsewhere on my boobs or pussy, but just not directly on my nipples anymore.
I do have some chains that we use to attach to my nipple rings that add weight and pull slightly on my nipples that way though. That I can take no problem.

don't know about you being "slow", but if you want to change the clothespins so they are not so strong in the force of the way they clamp, making them more of a sensation toy and less of a pain toy, they can be "sprung".
To do that all that needs to be down is on the end you usually pinch together to open the ouchy-end instead you push them apart a little. That stretches the spring devise and softens the grip they have. Once sprung they cannot be tightened back, but what the hell - they are cheep.
If my explanation cannot be followed so you know what I'm talking about I can get some photo and post them. I love mine that are sprung for softer sensation play.
