The Multi-Million Dollar Baby
When Christopher Mallion found out he and his wife were unable to have a child, he was heartbroken. She was infertile, her body simply unable to produce a viable egg, and often lacked the nutritional balance due to several underlying medical problems to be able to carry the child even if they dealt with artificial insemination. For three years after receiving the news, Christopher, one of the richest men in the United States, pumped money into finding a way to fix things. Unfortunately, the answer never came and the couple was left with only two choices: adopt or find a woman willing to not only produce an egg, but be a surrogate mother as well.
As things go, finding a woman who would willingly go through the process was a difficult thing. It was not for a lack of volunteers, but for a lack of women willing to abide by the contractual agreement Christopher and his lawyer had written. During the pregnancy the woman would not be allowed to have a job that required her to be away from the Mallion home, and even any at home jobs were not to include any physical labor. She must also be willing to move into the Mallion home, eat the meals planned for her by a nutritionist, and see whatever doctors the Mallion's chose. All in all, it would be a very demanding thing, being a surrogate for the rich couple. However there was an advantage to all of it. The woman in question would be provided with not only her own house(completely furnished and fully paid off) worth $600,000+, but also given two million dollars, two automobiles(one a smaller car, one more of a luxury design suited for more than two passengers), and would also be provided a job if she so chose to take it, working for one of Mallion's many companies in an executive position.
((I'm looking for someone to play Christopher Mallion and even someone to play his wife. The particulars on personalities are completely up to those who apply to play, but I think it might be interesting to have the wife actually NOT want the kid, only going along with it because her husband wants it so badly. I'm looking for good solid writers who can post frequently and won't lean entirely on me to carry the storyline. Please PM me if you're interested.))
