This thread is open to female characters with the prospect of male characters being required as the thread progresses.

Have the step mom , a sister and her daughter looking for more female characters , as many of her sisters or other female members of her family as can be found, yes there will be sex but also looking for story as each family member tries to claim the prize by out doing each other.

This is very much character driven so please try not to post one liners, also while there will be some conflict between characters please keep that in character. NO Meta posting

Adam Neilsen sat alone in his room, his face pale his mind lost in grief, his father was dead not a month earlier of a massive heartattack, his last family member, he didn't really count his fathers wife of a month as family.

His fathers will had just been read and as expected almost everything had gone to Adam, his step mother had received the comparatively small amount of one million dollars, while his fathers closest and longest serving personal staff received amounts of cash amounting to several tens of thousands of dollars each.

For Adam the money was of little importance , he'd throw away the billion dollar inheritence just to get his father back.

There was however one surprise in the will that threw almost everyone into a spin, if Adam married any member of his step mothers family by his next birthday and that marriage lasted a minimum of 10 years and produced at least two children then that woman would receive 100 million as part of the will.

Such a strange condition had thrown almost everyone but not Adam who understood his father and why he would add such a condition of the will, he recalled a conversation they had had before his fathers wedding.

Adam had admitted a crush on not only his soon to be step mum but every female member of her family each one stunning, his father had been half joking and now obviously half serious when he had suggested that he would have no problems arranging for his son to become involved with one of the beauties in that family.

Adam knew that downstairs several beautiful women were plotting away attracted to a lot of money....the problem was as much as he was devastated his father was dead he truly was looking forward to the next 10 weeks before his 19th birthday..and who knew maybe one of them could show more than a desire for wealth.

Candy had married the man for his money, at first. She had fallen in love with him shortly afterwords, and his death had hit her hard. She knew of the little codicile that was in the will of Adam having to marry one of the women in her family to get even more money. She thought that she would take and try to seduce her stepson and maybe get some fun out of it. She had been secretly crushing on the boy ever since they met, and even tho she never said anything to her husband, she was sure that he knew. She was downstairs wearing the Mourning Black dress, it was short, to short some would say for comfort,. but it was all she had. She looked upstairs and smiled. "Adam, come on down and join the family please." She called up the stairs to him.

*~*~*~*

Rose stood on the back patio behind the massive house that her aunt lived in. The woman had married a billionaire... and he'd died not too long ago. It was a sad, tragic thing, but Rose had the odd feeling that she'd only been out for his money anyway. It was a bit of a pleasant surprise to find out that she'd only see a hundredth of what the man was worth.

She'd taken a few days off from her college classes to come out here to provide comfort to her aunt, only to find out that in the man's will, he'd left a chance for the women of her family to make even more money. The thought made Rose's skin crawl. Their family was from "old money"... old money that didn't really exist. They had a good family name and old ties that dated way back to the civil war era, and that's what they lived off of.

The women married rich men so they could live in comfort. Hell, even her mother had done it. Rose was the only child from a loveless marriage her mother had gotten in to for one big reason: money. Thankfully, her father was a lawyer, and a good one at that. Her mother barely made it out of that relationship with a car and a few grand in her pocket. That had been a significant blow to the women in the family. God prenuptial agreements could be a bitch, couldn't they? Smirking at the thought, Rose just shook her head.

She hugged herself, sipping at the tea she'd gotten while inside, where most of her aunts and her mother were fawning over the new widow, while at the same time scheming to get money out of the new billionaire. She gave a soft sigh, shaking her head and pushing one black curl out of her eyes. She honestly didn't even know why she was here... She really should be back at school, striving to keep her grades at straight A's and preparing to make herself a successful woman who could live on her own... without a rich husband.

Adam sighed there was nothing for it he'd have to face them, part of him wanted to even looked forward to it, his fathers last personal gift or maybe the old man was just showing his sence of humour.

He'd have to decide about his step mum as well and not just over this little competition, the house and everything else belonged to it, oh he wouldn't throw her out but he'd have to at some point exert his authority.

He walked down the stairs into the living area that was now hosting a horde of females.

Taking a seat the one available seat next to his step mon Adam's eyes strayed as they had done many times over her body infact as much as the women here no doubt saw dollar signs in him he saw physical prefection.

It was really a question of who most wanted what each had to offer and who brought that little bit extra.

"Hello everyone " he said the lose of his father still reflected in his voice he could feel the thigh of his step mom against his leg, it seemed odd in a way that he knew what she was thinking....it was just a matter of when.

Rose was snapped out of her own thoughts by her mother's harping voice. It made the hair on the back of her neck stand on end... the woman really was a bad actress. Rose knew very well why she'd been asked to come here. It wasn't family duty, as her mother demanded... she thought that if somehow her daughter could get in good with Adam, she'd get to live the comfortable life as his mother in law.

That couldn't have been further from Rose's mind though. At the forefront was her want to get back to her life, to get away from these money mongering women and back to the way things were supposed to be. She missed her father... he was a good man, and took care of his little girl without spoiling her. All the time she'd grown up, he'd been ingraining it in her head that hard work was what would truly give her a happy life, not easy money.

Turning at her mothers beckoning, she rolled her eyes and made her way inside. Not surprisingly, they'd aparently managed to summon Adam back downstairs. It was sad, the way he looked... He had that look of a man thats torn by grief. She felt more like she should be comforting him than her aunt, who despite all her shows of being in mourning, probably didn't feel the pain half as much as she portrayed.

Okay, okay... so that was a bit cynical, but she honestly couldn't see past the fact that she knew from overhearing conversations between the woman and her own mother that the marriage had been all about the money. Sitting down on the couch, Rose crossed one shapely leg over the other. She was dressed modestly compared to the other women in the room... a pair of black slacks that while they hugged to her pert little bottom and toned thighs, flared out some around her calves and feet in a boot cut. The shirt she wore with it was a simple black button up blouse, the top two buttons undone to keep together that business casual look she was so fond of. Her feet were encased in a pair of black heeled boots-about the only flair to her entire outfit.

Some might have thought it boring, but she was a firm believer that they should be here to mourn, not to hog money away from a young man who just lost his father. She'd be heartbroken and sick with grief if her father died... she could only imagine what he must have been feeling.

candy was in tears, as she had been since her husband had died. he was a good man, and they had talked about children, but he died before that could happen. she smiled at adam, and placed a comforting hand on his knee. "it's ok adam, we all feel your loss, some more than others."

Adam's eyes flicked around the room and settled on Rose for a half moment , he'd seen her once before just a few months earlier at the wedding and had fallen for her like he'd fallen for them all, then his eyes moved, seeing eyes on him at every point ,had it been a mistake to come down here?

He wanted them to share his grief but none truly could miss his father as much as he did, no they wanted to share something else with him and that for Adam was something he'd have to deal with in time for the 18 year old in him wanted to get laid as much as possible , he knew that his father would love each minute of it....but the woman Adam choose, IF he choose would have to standout and he wasn't sure he could make that decision.

Adam felt his step mon's hand on his knee and a part of him rejoiced at it she really was a stunning beauty and the tears seemed genuine "Thanks" he said and placed his hand on top of her's , he noted that simple act caught the attention of so many

Adam may have been looking at her, but Rose was a bit more busy looking at her aunt. God... could she big any more of a ham? she thought. we all feel your loss, some more than others she repeated in her head, though it was tinged with sarcasm thick enough you couldn't have gotten a knife through it. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at the woman's mannerisms.

It was all so very, very pathetic, in Roses eyes. And Adam... well he just seemed to be eating it up. The look she gave her aunt was half a glare, half a look of 'oh get over yourself already'. Aunt Candy always had been a drama queen... the all were, the women on this side of Rose's family. Anything to get the attention of the men around them.

When Adam's hand came to rest over her aunt's, Rose stiffened, feeling her anger nearly coming to the boiling point. Her aunt was baiting him like a fish on a hook, and she simply couldn't sit by and watch him fall prey to the older woman's charms. Despite her want to scold him, however, she decided it better to wait a bit and see if maybe he wizened up on his own.

With a sigh that was closer to a frustrated groan, the youngest woman in the room rose quickly, grabbing her tea off the coffee table before walking quickly from the room and into the kitchen.

Candy smiled at Adam and looked around the room. She did notice the looks that shewas getting, but she also gave them the --He's mine look-- and to back off. She knew that it would get rid of most of them, but there were still one or two of them that wouldn't fall for that, especially her neice Rose, she would have to do with her eventually.

Name: Chayse Cooper
Age: 36
Hair: Blonde with deep red hi-lites
Eyes: Deep emerald green
Skin: Flawless, like her daughter, Rose's
Build: 5'4, curvy yet lithe, toned

Chayse sat not too far from where her daughter, Rose, had been sitting. Emerald eyes watched Rose as she stood up and walked out, this smug smirk playing on her painted lips.

Chayse was Candy's older sister, having come to the funeral of her "brother-in-law." She had had some insight into that will, the reasoning for bringing her only daughter. She needed that money!! Hell, she had a shot in this herself!

Rose and her mother's relationship had always been strained, a bit rocky. All because Chayse felt her daughter took after her damn father. Chayse's ex-husband had made sure that after the divorce, Chayse barely had anything to show for it, sans the top of the line Explorer and a few thousand. She still cursed her ex for it all! She should have known better than to marry a lawyer! But it was all about the money. Chayse married at a young age. She had just turned 18 and felt she was wise beyond her years. Rose had come along not too much longer afterwards.

She didn't want to say that Rose's birth had put a strain on the relationship...but it had. Her ex-husband was 10 years her senior, a rising partner in a blossming firm. The whole reason that Chayse had married him. The money!

She glanced back to where her daughter had disappeared then to her sister, who's hand was creeping up Adam's thigh. Dressed in a short black dress, showing off her long tanned and toned legs, ample breasts about popping out the top, black strappy heels adding a couple more inches to her stature, Chayse purposely walked past where Adam and Candy were sitting, glaring at Candy while giving Adam a "fake" sympathetic look. She made her way to where Rose was, talking in a hushed voice to her.

"Why aren't you out there?? What have I taught you, Rose? That boy's a damn billionaire and you aren't even trying to get him to notice you! I have half a damn mind to move in on that prize myself!"

Adam nodded to the look of sympathy that Chayse gave him , he knew that many of the ladies were here for only one reason but maybe with the tears Candy was crying the look he'd received from her older sister that maybe just maybe some here genuinely cared.

He wasn't sure how correct that hope was but it was something he could cling to , he bit his lower lip as emotion threatened to overwhelm him...he wanted his dad back he missed him so very much.

A gentle squeeze on his leg brought Adam out of his reflection and he smiled at his step-mon but not before his eyes flicked over her legs "Maybe I should go back up soon?" it was more a question than a statement.

Candy smiled. "That's up to you sweety, want me to keep you company?" It was more of an offer than a question. She knew that he had eyes on her and her family for some time, but she was going to get him no matter what. What with his father leaving her well off, that was fine, but she wasn't going to be like her idiot of an older sister, and be left with nothing but a daughter to show for it really. She was so stupid, what did mother always say, never marry a lawyer, they will always leave you with nothing.

Rose rounded on her mother, mismatched eyes burning with an inner flame that showed her temper for what it could be. As soon as her mother finished talking, the young black haired beauty answered in a voice that nearly dripped with malice and venom.

"You people have no respect for the dead! Not one of you! All of you trying to take advantage of his situation... and for what? Money! God I'm disgusted to say I'm part of this family." She threw up her hands, having luckily left her tea on the counter.

When her mother mentioned going after the "prize" herself, Rose gave a groan that could be heard from the other room. "Jesus, mother!" she said, loud enough that people could hear if they listened, then quickly dropped her voice down to where it couldn't be heard. "You're all grown women, hell... some of you have kids! And you're taking advantage of kid that just lost his father."

After a moment, she continued on, pointing toward the doorway that lead out to the living room where everyone was gathered. "You're old enough to be his mother! And so is that slut I have the displeasure of calling family!" She stopped only long enough to take a breath, letting her words sink in, "Christ, she was married to his father..."

Candy heard a few choice words that her neice had said and shook her head. She would never fit in with the rich crowd, and she knew it. Her thinking that I was old enough to be his mother, I'm only 5 years older than her. She would have to be taken down afew notches, and maybe taking Adam in front of her would do that. She smiled to herself, and she squeezed Adams leg again, affectionately.

Adam looked at his step mom the offer of company played with him and he wondered if he should accept it or not , he didn't want to be alone and even if she had been family for a short time he guessed she was family.

Then he heard Rose apprently yelling at her mother, it wasn't his problem of course and maybe in its own way it was nice to hear raised voices if only as a break from everyone watching him like a hawk.

His mind made up , if his step mom was going to make a play for him let it happen if her need to be with him was genuine that would be nice to. "Yes please I'll just go up now"

He stood up "Thank you everyone for coming I'm grateful if any of you need a place to stay tonight I'm sure James and the staff have things organised" Adam left the room and headed up the stairs to his room knwoing that James most likely had rooms for every guest prepared espeically after the reading of the will , the old butler would have guessed that enough ladies would not want to have him be too far away.

Ooc

OOC:
Candy, I specifically stated that the only part of my entire post anyone would be able to hear would be her saying "jesus mother", so she never would have heard any comments about her age.

Candy thanked the guests and got up also. She followed Adam upstairs to his room, and locked the door behind them. She wouldn't want anyone walking in on them accidentally now, would she. She turned to Adam, and fell into his arms crying. "I can't believe he is gone." She was sobbing while taking in his well toned body.

It was almost as if Chayse could sense what her sister was thinking. Jaw clenched, she fought the want to grind her teeth. Her 'baby' sister had once told her what she had thought of Chayse and her ex-husband's broken, washed up marriage shortly before it had ended. And Chayse had shown her a thing or two on what she thought of Candy!

If Rose had inhierited one thing from Chayse, it was her temper. Both of them were well known for going off on someone like damn fireworks on the 4th of July! More often than not, they were going off on each other!

"Damn you for taking after your fucking father!" Chayse growled under her breath, loud enough for only Rose to hear. "I can't believe that you're not going to go for it! For all that money!"

Taking a deep breath, her jaw clenching again, Chayse tried to calm down, to take a deep breath, those intense emerald orbs staring dead on at her daughter. "Making a fucking move on that boy...or I will! Who cares if I'm old enough to be his mother! Could teach him a thing or two in the sack then!"

Chayse had never hidden the fact that she had gone through more boyfriends than most. Hell, she'd had a couple of boyfriends on the side when she had still been married to Rose's father! And there had been more than a few times that Chayse's trysts had almost been ruined by her then husband returning home early from some trip he'd been on for a case of his. And more than likely, Rose knew of all this.

Chayse's words made her daughter's stomach churn, almost making her feel like she was going to be sick. When the thought entered her mind, she almost wished it would happen... Dousing her mother in vomit would show her just what she thought of her family's antics!

Her eyes narrowed as she pushed the thought away, reasoning that it would also show an extreme loss of self control. "Don't you dare insult my father!" she hissed, blue and green eyes leveled dead on her mother. "He's a better person than any of you! I can only be glad that you signed that agreement, you don't deserve a penny of Daddy's money. He earned it!"

She took in a deep breath as she looked at her mother, blood boiling as she clenched her hands at her sides, slowly advancing on the older woman. "But you wouldn't know anything about earning something, would you mother? Of course not, you sleep your way into men's fortunes. Same as that harlot out there trying to take advantage of Adam! And you want me to be like that!

"You want me to lower myself to that level, to disrespect the memory of a good man and take advantage of his son, all for money! No... I'm going to earn what I get out of life, I'm going to make my father proud and show the world that I'm nothing like you or any of them!"

Adam hugged back he could feel the body of his step mom touching him completely and not for the first time he felt her body not as a step son but as an 18 year old boy , a horny 18 year old boy.

The tears seemed genuine but she seemed to be moving her hands a bit, "I miss him as well" and for long moments he hugged her swaying his body as his father had once done when Adam was a child and had just lost his real mother.

"I know the will is going to make things crazy around here Candy no matter what happens you're family I just want you to know that" Adam broke the embrace and looked at her , she was stunning beautiful and her body threatened to break out of that dress any second.

He wondered if that would happen sooner rather than later for nothing seemed more certain than his having sex with his step mom that thought alone was enough to mess with his sensibilities , it was certainly messing with his hormones.

Then Adam understood that he wasn't ready for this not right now , maybe in five minutes he'd be horny beyond reason maybe it would take days before he was ready to play his fathers last game.

"I'm sorry I can't do what I think we might do , not right now at least" and with that he quickly passed his step-mom and unlocking his bedroom he dashed down the hallway and ran down the stairs towards the front door once outside he stopped squeezed his eyes and tears fell, part of him wanted to rush back and fuck Candy until she begged him not to stop the bigger part of him just wished none of this had happened.

Chayse seriously fought back the urge to slap her daughter across the face. How dare she say that awful stuff about her own mother...the woman who brought her damn ass into this world!?!?

Her eyes narrowed as she looked over her daughter. Rose has such potential...to be one of 'them'...to be one like Chayse and her sisters! It was almost as if it was engraved in Chayse's genes that the female married for money. Her own mother, grandmother, great-grandmother...as far back as anyone had documented in Chayse's family...all the women had married for money first..then love if it happened. Rose had aquired Chayse's physical features and William's, her ex-husband's, mental features. Why couldn't she have gotten Chayse's mentality too!?! Was that too much to ask!?!

She hissed back at Rose. "Your father's not as innocent as he plays everything off to be! He's the one who found me. He's the one who was having sex with a minor, who got me pregnant and we married just after my 18th birthday. Bet he never told you that, huh? Better person, my ass, Rose! If you only knew how he truly was!"

Chayse shook her head, eyes still narrowed at her daughter. There were days she cursed the day Rose was born, cursed that day that William had touched her, got her pregnant. At one point, Chayse had used Rose against William and had almost won!

Now was where Rose's temper got the better of her. Nearly shouting, the young woman threw a veritable fit right there in the kitchen. "Of course I know about all of that! But I'll be damned if he didn't love you! You were the one who was only after money. He saw you and fell for you, and you played him right into your hands... How did you put it? Molded him like clay?"

Her eyes flashed, and she drew herself up at a proud angle. "That's right, I've read that journal you wrote all those years ago, before you even knew about me! I found it in a bunch of old boxes of your stuff in the basement. You played him from the start, and he fell for it! Thank god he wasn't dumb enough to fall for your innocent bull shit!"

She rotated on the ball of her foot then, pacing back and forth as she spoke. "You could have honored a man who truly loved you, could have had a good life, but no... no you had to have every man who came your way. And Daddy dealt with it for a long while! All because he loved you!"

She was shaking from head to toe, rage coursing through her as she fought not to strike her mother, knowing that the other woman wanted to do the same. "I will NOT sleep with a man just because of his money, and I sure as hell wont take advantage of that man! I'm better than that! I'm better than you will ever be!"

In a fit of temper, Rose threw up her hands and stalked out of the kitchen, storming to the front door of the place, intent on climbing in her car and driving off, away from all this for good.

Thats when she saw him. Adam was standing out front, and it appeared he was crying. Her heart went out to him, and she felt her anger nearly dissipate. Sighing some, she tucked one of her black curls behind her ear and patted him on the shoulder. "I wish I could say it'll get easier, but I really don't know what you're going through..." she said softly.

candy understood and let adam leave. she went back to her own room, and wondered why he had to die that night. "damn you, you left adam and i to this, why in the fucking hell did you die? why why why...." she cried herself to sleep over the picture of her dead husband in better times. yes she was a young grieving widow, and damn what others thought.

Adam fought hard to hold back the tears but it was just not working for him, sometimes over the last weeds he'd wondered if he would ever run out of tears

He heard the door close behind him and tried to unsuccessfully wipe the tears away.

He looked at her after she had spoken his eyes reddened " I hope its a long time before you have to " he said sadly .

then he shook his head , she was being polite and that was always something to treasure . Adam took a deep breath and a wry smile touched his lips as he looked at Rose, she was as beautiful as any of her family he knew she didn't live with her mother but beyond that hse was really a mystery to him.

" Thanks to my fathers and his sense of humour I fear the real ...ah " he couldn't describe what he feared and wanted to happen , so he came up with a word to descibe everything "...madness of what I'm going to deal with is yet to come"

He looked around the grounds memories of his father everywhere he looked, "Are you staying here like everyone else?' he feared equally a yes and a no and wasn't sure why, for Rose was neither more or less important to his fathers plan than any of the others

"Are you staying here like everyone else?"

This was a loaded question, Rose thought as she stood there, leaning now against the railing of the porch and crossing her arms over her chest. "Honestly, Adam, I'm only here because my mother insists that I be here for my aunt," she said with a roll of her eyes. "I personally think everyone, my aunt included, should just back off and give you time to mourn your father properly but... hey... what do I know?"

She shook her head and looked down, scuffing the heel of one boot against the patio. "I'm sorry my family is putting you through this..." She lifted her eyes, settling them on him intently. Here is where her unusual proficiency with being the most blunt woman you'll ever meet would come in handy. "I just hope you don't fall for all their bull shit," she said unflinchingly.

"As much as my aunt claims to be a grieving widow, logic should tell you why she married into your family in the first place. Don't buy it, Adam. If you just do yourself a favor and ignore them when they try to make their advances, you'll be a lot better of."

Standing straight, she patted his shoulder. "I'm gonna go get a coffee or something in town, the air here reeks of bad acting."

And with that, she turned and headed down the front steps, out toward the driveway, where her car was waiting. Her hips had a delicious little sway to them, calling more and more attention to the firm round shape of her ass and long shapely legs, something not even the youngest of her aunts could master, thanks to age and a lack of good, honest hard work outs to keep their body trim and toned that way.
