Suggestions for Plotline

I need suggestions for my Story, Angel in Darkness, still to have chapter 1 approved for submission or w/e

It consists of around 9 chapters maby, here is how it goes:

Chapter 1: I meet Paris Hilton/do it with her
Chapter 2: After a series of events I tell her I love her and blah blah blah
Chapter 3: We go to the beach or w/e and a yacht for my b-day in Chapter 4
Chapter 4: My b-day on a yacht with Paris, Nicole, and Nicky I get a "special" b-day present :cool:

Chapters 5-7 I am not sure what, I just need suggestions but generally they are somewhat a "filler", the main ending stuff starts at chapter 8 or 7 or so, but generally between 4-7 its more like stuff that may or may not contribute to the major plot, but I hope they will be packed with alot more sex, unlike chapter 1 which just has one lap dance scene and a sex scene at the end, but chapter 4 will have alot :cool:

So you'll be the what...thousandth guy to do Paris Hilton?

All that filler you were talking about could be her telling you of her past exploits with the thousands of guys that came before you. She could have a power point presentation that she clicks through as she relates each juicy tid-bit. ;)

I'm sorry, but this is pretty much how your story sounds to me. I don't quite understand why anyone would want to write about Paris Hilton, or any "celebrity".

For fucks sake first of all I love her second of all I don't do gross shit like BDSM with her third I hate hearing about her and other guys and how bout we all just shut up about the fact it has Paris Hilton I was asking for serious opinions not a load of shit answers

But then, I'm sure Ms Hilton is used to weirdos and can well handle 'em.

When its all said and done, fan fic has to work hard to be fresh. If its Paris, Xena, Harry Potter, or who ever, but then sex is far older and still just the old "in and out" The trick is to keep that story interesting when we all sorta know how it turns out

I'll try to give you some serious response, just to be kind.

If it's "filler", don't put it in. It doesn't sound like you're lacking sex. Why did you arbitrarily decide the main ending had to start at chapter 7 or 8?

I'd suggest writing and refining the first four chapters, and don't worry about the rest for now. Really, it sounds like you could send the story there, with the foursome on the yacht.

Celeb stories are very hard to do well, but hopefully you can write something that you enjoy. Best of luck.

If you told us how you wanted it to end we could suggest ways to get there. Or is the ending part of what you're still figuring out?

And in response, Morgan, I'd have to agree with what James said.
Longer is not necessarily better (again, no pun intended- get your mind out of the gutter, people! Oh wait, it's my mind creating these things :D ).
If you can relate what you'd like to say in a concise way that packs a punch and lacks filler, you'll be doing pretty super.

Also, I know these are wank stories, but I can't imagine people reading a full nine chapters of a similar thing, primarily because of its celebrity content.
It's fine that you like Paris and her posse, but I also think it's important to consider your audience.

I think this is really good advice. Why not just write the story and see where it goes. Sometimes, I plot things out in my head very specifically and then as I write, shit happens and the story goes in another direction.

p.s. Don't take the haters personally. Fandom is fandom and not everyone gets it. It doesn't matter if the subject matter interests us personally or not. You're asking about plotting, which is a WRITING QUESTION. Different strokes, eh? And don't even think I write Different Strokes fanfic, because I don't! :p
