I love pearls. Not the normal, white/pink round pearls (blah), but the baroque, biwa, or keshi pearls.

My first reaction is to recoil. I feel as if someone is thinking I'm an uptight frigid bitch like their mom perhaps. I've no idea why I feel this way. There must be a reason, probably something from my childhood.

I wore the pearl necklace recently and everyone seemed to have a favorable reaction, instead of mine. That's why I started the thread and poll. Am I so fucked up on this matter compared with others? Or are there others like me? What do the majority think? These were some of the questions I wanted to find answers to.

Personally I love pearls. I was given a teeny tiny strand of teen tiny pearls when I was born. Plus - they come from the sea - which is good. I've always loved them.
