Yea, I read so many places about new stuff you can do in a BDSM session or whatever, and many of them are referred to as the ultimate act of submission, which I kinda think is crap :-/
I mean first, I read one place that being humiliated is the ultimate act, and then another place that say that being a toilet slave slave is the ultimate act o_O....
We all have our own thing we see as the ultimate act, so what might be ultimate for one could not be for another...

Just felt like getting that out and hearing what you all have to say about this >.<

i agree completly it is entirely up to the person and what they feel is the biggest thing they have to give up or go through
 
IMO, submission is not shown in a single act, but in a consisntancy of service. Rose does not show her submission to Me by taking My flogger, or being bound for My pleasure. That is our play.

Her submission to Me manifests in her having turned over her important decisions to My wisdom, her asking My permission to do things, her obeying the rules that I set for her, her overall service to Me...
 
Yea.. so there is never truely an ultimate act, as it all sticks together I guess... >< I just get annoyed when people start talking about whats more submissive than everything else...

And then once a pyl has done what they believe 'the ultimate act of submission' what then? Are they safe from having to do anything their PYL wants them to, because they have already proven to be the ultimate submissive so don't have to show their submission again?
I agree, it's bullshit.
 
I agree with the other posters here. You could argue that 24/7 D/s is an ultimate act compared with some who see their partners seldom or have a purely online relationship. In the end though, these comparisons are pointless and to me serve no purpose.

Ultimate deos mean final and so it's not a word easily applied to something that is or will become a huge part of your everyday way of life. I know that Sir and I will continue to take our dynamic in different directions and push our boundaries.

That to me is important, that there is no 'final' great act of submission. Our relationship will grow everyday. Even if we have one day ticked off all the boxes we want to so far as individual acts are concerned, we'll still live and learn together.
 
i have heard that puppy play is the ultimate "act" of submission. i wouldn't call puppy play an act because it is the many acts of puppy play that makes it the "ultimate act." i hope that made some sort of sense.

Anyhoooo...i have heard people describe it as the ultimate act because the sub gives up absolutley everything. When and where they go to the bathroom is controlled. What they wear (if anything) is decided by the Dom. When, what, and how much they eat is controlled. They don't speak and can't grasp anything. They are completely 100% dependent on their Dom.

That might be called the ultimate act of submission to some. It all depends on the individuals definition. i would say that an ultimate act of submission is defined as giving up 100% control over EVERYTHING and/or getting over a hard limit.

I'm not sure I've ever heard that one or agree with it....for one thing, many subs and slaves give up the same things and more, still doesn't make it the ultimate submissive sacrifice. Is sort of like the question, 'what makes a true sub or true Dominant' ...all a bit silly IMHO.

yeah, when talk turns to who's a "true" submissive or dominant, or what the ultimate act of ANYTHING is, I run for the hills. WTF mate?

I'm all for people putting whatever titles they want on anything, as long as they don't want *me* to recognize those titles as the truth.
 
I totally agree with everyone. Everyone has limits some are liberal and others are conservative. Some have a low pain threshold while others have a very high threshold. Some are more into toilet slavery while others are not.

Everyone has their own ultimate and they are varied from person to person.

i know, that's why i said it all depends on what the individual's definition of it is. i hate labeling. i speak for myself on this one.
 
the word "ultimate" makes me think in terms of "as extreme as possible".. like the ultimate richest person is Bill Gates.. you can't find anyone richer..

so it seems like the ultimate act of submission would be submission to the point where you can't get any more submissive no matter what.. so to do that, it seems like you would have to throw out things like limits and safewords and just tell your Dom that anything goes..

I'm not suggesting that anyone do this because limits and safewords are needed for safety.. but that's what I think of when I think of the ultimate act of submission..

I tend to think that the ultimate act of submission will be the next moment, and then the next and then the next after that and so on. Since we live moment by moment, I try to make the most of it.

Sometimes the ultimate act of submission is nothing more than bringing me a nice cup of hot coffee when I am working and she knows I want one but I am too busy concentrating on my work. She quietly slides it on the desk next to me and then kisses me on the back of the neck and let's me continue to work without further interuption.

Extreme does not always equate to ultimate. To me ultimate is more equal to how well the PYL is satsified or fulfilled, regardless of whether the act the pyl is performing is considered extreme or simplistic. Just my thoughts.

saying anything is the 'ultimate act of submission' to me is saying well i'm a better submissive than you because i do x,y,z. which, like everyone else here, i see as bullshit. even to puppy play kailey, just because you give all that over to your Master does not mean you are any more submissive or Dependant on your Dom than i am on mine. no, i dont have to ask to go to the bathroom because, well i'd be asking all of the time and it would get quite frustrating and who is really going to deny someone else the natural? if they do it can cause a whole host of problems, in me anyway, as i'm prone to bladder infections anyway that's not the point, my point is i see nothing as an 'ultimate act of submission' there is no one act that will make you uber sub.
