I tried to read a Gor book once.

It didn't do much for me. I'm not sure I even finished it.
Quite a few do like them though and in fact, use these fiction works as part of a philosophy for living their lives.

What's interesting to me is how important it seems to be to the Gor folk to say they are not doing the same thing as BDSM.

Once upon a time I would occasionally show certain people a portion of a web site that I posted to. I don't know why it is that so few, less than 3% would look around that web site for more information, pictures or what have you. I would have. Is it lack of interest, laziness, lack of attention span or what?
I don't know but I've come to accept that a great majority of online people prefer to have information handed too them on a silver platter. They take a risk with that attitude and mind set but as I often enjoy helping them, it's okay with me.

One of the reasons I became interested in Gorean is I see a lot of BDSM personals asking for it.
The personality characteristic that I find appealing is appreciating personality as well as beauty and the idea that submission is a "natural" role for women.
Above idea is of course controversial and while it doesn't apply to everyone I find it to be true.

Have you surfed the Library pinned at the top of the forum? Another option is to give a synopsis of how you view dominance, and someone might be able to point you in a particular direction for researching/asking questions.

Cati hon, with all due respect, I know she is quite capable of holding her own, as am I. However sometimes it's awfully nice when someone stands up for you anyway once in a while, ya know? Cliquishness is not how I see it at all. In a society someone has to stand up and say, no that is not acceptable here or some people will think no one cares or minds. Lettting things like this go by without saying something can been seen as endorsing it, which I do not.
What she said was that if this person googled he could probably come up with an answer to his question. In my opinion that is almost always true and was in no way to be construed as an personal attack.
Other comments were of us discussion not the OP in particular but people in general and also could not be considered a personal attack.
It is regrettable that the OP decided it was a personal attack and in a very uncalled for base way responded. That sort of immature response is all too common in posters who are insecure. The whole thing is regrettable IMO, sadly human but terribly regrettable nonetheless.
Using a derivative of the word cunt as an attack and not in a something that is not a scene, an intimate moment, a story or some neutral is pretty damned wrong in my opinion and always will be.
